19/05/2026: We spent four days at this establishment. The surroundings were wonderful, the welcome was warm and friendly, the staff were very attentive, the cleanliness was excellent, and the meals were very good and prepared on-site – everything was more than perfect. We have absolutely no complaints and will definitely return. Plus, they accept dogs – everything you need for a great stay. Thank you!

17/05/2026: After reading previous reviews, it's clear our room hadn't undergone the renovations mentioned by other guests: + Decent welcome - Outdated room (wallpaper, woodwork, furniture...) - Unwelcoming bathroom (paint stains, dampness...) - Toilet paper not replenished (had to ask for a roll) For over €100 a night, one can expect more from the quality and appearance of a hotel room. PS: Regarding the photo of the bed, we used it before the picture was taken. It was properly made.

20/07/2026: Good food, special mention for the desserts which were delicious! It's a shame, however, that the pike quenelles weren't served with a side dish, like just a plate of rice for example.

16/04/2026: Everything was very good! The perfect egg and its delicious accompaniment, the homemade fries crispy just right, the andouillette perfect, and even if it's not the most important thing I'll add that the plates are beautifully presented, I will come back.

23/07/2026: Incredible experience! We each ordered the lovely set menu. It's a real treat for the taste buds! The staff is lovely. We also bought a few grocery items and some fabulous bread.

19/07/2026: There were six of us for our wedding meal. The bill, however, was far more substantial than our plates. The chef tries to offer refined cuisine, which is a plus. On the other hand, the portions are ridiculously small. The sirloin steak on the "Joli Menu" was nothing more than a thin slice of meat. The "30th Anniversary" menu lacked balance: tomato as a starter, tomato with the fish, practically the same sauce. It felt like eating the same dish from beginning to end. The service was disastrous: unfriendly, cold, and unapproachable waiters, without a single smile. The dishes were placed on the table without a word. No presentation. No explanation. We had specifically mentioned that it was our wedding. We weren't expecting fireworks, just a little human warmth. We will not be repeating the experience.

06/08/2026: A fantastic find! The food is entirely homemade, and it shows: flavorful, generous dishes prepared with high-quality ingredients. The welcome is truly delightful; you're greeted with a smile and immediately feel at ease. A great place to eat in Montbrison that we wholeheartedly recommend. We'll definitely be back!

12/07/2026: Top-notch restaurant, warm welcome with a very pleasant waitress. We also appreciated the table layout, which allowed for a bit of privacy without our neighbor watching our meal. Excellent menu with very good, fresh ingredients. I highly recommend the frogs' legs, which are surely the best around here. We had a wonderful evening in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The service was provided by a very pleasant and attentive young apprentice. The chef was accommodating and eager to please. And the hostess was as kind and passionate as ever about her work and...plants... ♡ We look forward to our next visit.

18/07/2026: Frog legs, excellent warming plate to keep them hot, well done! Generous meal, very pleasant waitress, I recommend it. The only slight negative point, in my opinion, is the cleanliness, which could be improved: tablecloths, windows, and toilets. A good cleaning to make everything shine and you'll be top-notch.

14/07/2026: I'm giving one star because I can't give less. We came on June 29th with my husband and three daughters. We were very, very disappointed; there was very little choice. For the children's menu, we were told it was for ages 12 and up, and our daughters are 12, but they told us it was borderline! My husband posted a review that was deleted...
