17/02/2026: We've been to Café des Halles three or four times now, and frankly, it deserves more like six out of five stars. For me, it's a small but perfectly fine dining establishment. However, it's not very spacious, so be sure to book ahead. The food is very good, original, and homemade (except for the bread).
15/02/2026: Fantastic place that I highly recommend and deserve to be better known.
We had an exceptional Valentine's Day menu; I've rarely eaten so well.
The chef and his wife are very friendly and enjoy chatting with their customers. I can't wait to go back.

27/02/2026: Exceptional welcome with a great sense of humor and very good quality products with originality.
13/01/2026: I share with many others the intense pleasure of lunch at the Apple Garden Café! The setting is as simple as the menu: English potatoes cooked the traditional way (crispy, charred skin, tender, sweet interior) accompanied by sauces that perfectly complement them.
And of course, the desserts!
I'll be back to enjoy the garden as soon as the local weather permits. I promise!
Note: Given its central location and proximity to schools, reservations are recommended.

13/02/2026: We received an excellent welcome, high-quality French cuisine, combining originality and tradition.
30/01/2026: The menu looked enticing, and the price reflects the expected quality of the food. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The setting is very warm and inviting, but the cuisine is underdeveloped, lacking subtlety and balance. A note on the two dishes we chose: the pie and the scallops.
They were served very (too) quickly. We hadn't even finished our aperitifs before the starters arrived. And there was nothing to accompany the aperitifs.
We won't be going back!

It's a small restaurant,
it's best to book in advance.
05/02/2026: The dining room is very small, so it's best to go when there aren't many large groups and to make a reservation. The food is delicious and the service impeccable. I highly recommend it.

Valentine's Day menu: no dishes, no decorations to match the theme.
Meat portions were small and lacked finesse.
The starter arrived too quickly at the beginning of the aperitif, and then there was a long wait.
The dining room was too small, too crowded, and too noisy.
The youngest waitress was unpleasant and unfriendly. The bill was overpriced for the portions served. On the plus side, the owner was very friendly.

I rarely leave Google reviews unless I'm extremely satisfied. The Océane galette was definitely in my top 3 best galettes ever (and not just 3rd).
The flambéing demonstration for the wheat crêpe for dessert was also a nice touch.
Highly recommended!

30/12/2025: A very pleasant evening with colleagues. The woman who greeted us was very pleasant and attentive. I was very pleasantly surprised by a young man, 17 years old, who displayed great professionalism. The presentation of the products was beautiful, and he was very well-groomed. Well done to him! The dishes were very interesting, not all to our taste, but all excellent.

25/02/2026: During our trip, a quick stop in Sainte-Mère-Église was a must.
We stopped for a meal at Jeanne's, quite late in the day, and were served quickly.
Dogs are welcome, a real plus for us!
We weren't disappointed.
The meal was absolutely delicious.
The owner was incredibly kind. Thank you for this pleasant experience and for your smile. The South thanks you! 😉 If we come back again, we won't hesitate to return.
And we will definitely recommend you to everyone we know.
