27/03/2024: a decor where you feel good, really stylish.
We opted for a dish of the day which was exquisite (beef with satay and to have Asian family as good as at tata's 😅) for the price of 13€ which is very reasonable compared to the other prices on the menu which I found are a bit excessive.
Remember to book because even for a Tuesday lunchtime there are people!

29/02/2024: A very good restaurant, a superb view of the sea in a very beautiful setting, a smiling and friendly waitress who knows her job. An excellent and gourmet dinner. From starter to dessert, there were some great taste discoveries. Thanks to the chef. Visit in May 2023
17/02/2024: “La Gourmandine” is now called “Face à la mer”. Very warm welcome, faultless table service, the plates are well presented and the contents are excellent. Let's wish them a long and beautiful life at the head of the restaurant.

27/03/2024: We came for lunch this afternoon, by chance, the meal was really delicious! Both dishes were tasty and what a nice surprise for the gourmet coffee! I highly recommend this place, the waitress is very friendly too. Don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed!
22/03/2024: Nice surprise for this lunch: original combinations and frank flavors, nice use of spices and aromatics, the juices and sauces are there and don't make a dotted line! We feel as much the technical ease as the passion of the cook Sébastien. Attentive service by Esma and cozy atmosphere.

04/04/2024: No thanks. Never again. Extremely overrated. Boss doesn't particularly want to deal with the guests. The service staff is loveless. Far too expensive for the area and what is on offer. Loveless is the key word that stands above everything. A lot of show without substance.
In response to the host's comment: I'm not saying they were rude. Our companion lives in France and speaks perfect French. There is no misunderstanding. It is my review of their restaurant that we visited with high expectations based on the rating on Google. Which unfortunately were not fulfilled. I don't want to go into details. But since they have a lot of good reviews, it may have been an isolated incident.

04/04/2024: Excellent biscuit factory with head office in Quineville and an annex in Saint Vaast la Hougue. Certainly one of the best in the region. Biscuits of all kinds, delicious as you wish. And top-notch tea rooms. A tasty pastry section mainly composed of tarts. Friendly boss. The 2 ladies from the Saint Vaast annex are also just as happy. Two addresses to really discover.

31/03/2024: I am very disappointed, I was a regular at this restaurant.
We arrived at 1:45 p.m. and our dishes arrived only at 3:25 p.m. Fortunately we had taken a board as a starter because it was a very long wait.
Big Surprise when we had our plates, there were 4 of us who had a rib steak with fries and even though the meat was good the fries were more than cooked and especially no longer the taste of potatoes.
No commercial gesture was made even though we did not eat the fries so much that they were inedible.
