27/01/2026: I was a little disappointed by this restaurant, which had been highly recommended to me. The decor is classy, ​​the atmosphere pleasant, but the rest didn't convince me. I waited three-quarters of an hour for a nearly cold "Burger des Arts," and my portion of fries was much smaller than those of my neighbors who had ordered something else. It wouldn't be so bad if I hadn't already had much better meals at less expensive restaurants...

24/01/2026: A very pleasant evening at the little inn tonight. We're regulars here and have been rediscovering it since its reopening. The staff are incredibly friendly, the food is generous, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend it and we'll be back after a long break. Thank you!

03/01/2026: Excellent restaurant, very clean including the restrooms, super friendly staff 👍 Top-notch food and reasonable prices, I highly recommend it ❤️ It's a shame, however, that they were out of items on the menu like beef bourguignon, chicken escalope 🐔, and ribeye steak. We ordered, and after ordering, we were told they were no longer available. It's a shame they should have put up a sign at the entrance saying these items were out of stock or added it to the menu. But apart from that, nothing to report, everything was fine and good

31/01/2026: Food: Perfect seasoning and cooking. Service: Slow, and the servers didn't know the tables. The manager asked for our table number even though he had seated us himself, and he went to the wrong room several times. There was a lack of friendliness towards customers, and we paid for an espresso that no one served. We will not be returning.

31/01/2026: We came for lunch today with our 4-year-old son. Like many children his age, he whined a little at first, but he didn't bother the staff or the other customers. The owner of the establishment, Bruno, then took it upon himself to reprimand him very aggressively, speaking loudly and pointing at him to frighten him, saying that children weren't allowed to cry in his restaurant and that "things were going to go very badly for him" if he continued. This behavior towards a child was completely unacceptable. Even worse, he returned about 20 minutes later, when our son was perfectly calm, only to tell him that he would punish him if he became "naughty." We immediately made it clear that we absolutely would not allow a stranger to reprimand our child without his parents' consent. This kind of attitude is shocking, disproportionate, and inappropriate, especially since it's a discounted Flunch, not a Michelin-starred restaurant. If the presence of children is a problem, it would be more honest to prohibit them from entering, or to train the staff in stress management and how to interact with families. We left very disappointed and shocked by this experience, and will not be returning.

15/02/2026: A very disappointing experience. Visited on Valentine's Day, the welcome was extremely cold. We were treated like mere customers to be paid as quickly as possible, pressured to order as fast as we could. The waiters were unpleasant, paying no attention to our choices or opinions, and not answering our questions. The dishes were overpriced for the portion size (paying €32 for a small sirloin steak with fries, frozen vegetables, and an overly salty, industrial sauce is not worth the price). Furthermore, the dishes didn't match their descriptions; the dauphine potatoes served with the veal chops turned out to be a leek and potato mash. Considering the price (€29.90), I think the least they could have done was respect the description. When it came time to pay, the waitress spent her time sighing and didn't bother to answer us. In short, there are better restaurants in Sarreguemines with similar prices but larger portions, quality ingredients, and above all, a warm welcome and atmosphere. Avoid.

15/02/2026: Never again at this restaurant! There were two of us for Valentine's Day. My boyfriend ordered the €31.95 set menu for sirloin steak with morels, fries, and vegetables. I ordered the €29.90 set menu for veal chop with morels and ONE "pomme dauphine." When you order this set menu, you expect to get MULTIPLE pommes dauphine, not just ONE, which looks suspiciously like a schneeball, as you can see in the photo. I was told it was indeed a pommes dauphine and that it was homemade. As for the sauce, it was far too salty, and I actually like my food salty... My boyfriend was also disappointed: his sauce was also salty, and the fries were frozen. I told the waitress what was wrong, but there was no reaction, especially from the owner. This woman, extremely unpleasant, haughty, and about as welcoming as a prison guard, really has no place in a restaurant: a restaurant should always have good food, but the service is also essential. As for the restrooms, they were cold, the heating wasn't on, and there was toilet paper on top of the bin, making them unhygienic. The restrooms were also rather outdated. When it came time to pay, the owner was clearly just trying to get rid of us, not even asking if we had enjoyed our meal. Instead, she immediately asked, "By card or cash?" In short, we were disappointed, and I'd been there several times before, but this was the last straw. Avoid it if you don't want to waste your money!

28/01/2026: Perfect. Varied menu, very good food. But the best part is the staff, competent and above all very friendly. Always attentive. And thank you again for the little gifts. Gaëtan has found a place in my collection. Thank you all and see you soon!

10/01/2026: So where to begin? Upon arrival, the manager pounced on us to present his suggestion without even asking if we were there for a meal or just a coffee. Then my boyfriend, finally won over by the suggestion, ordered it, our friend ordered a simple hot chocolate, and when I asked what kind of panini they had, he told me to look at the display case as if he had no idea what he was selling. I ended up choosing the raclette and bacon panini. It arrived barely warm, contained raclette cheese but also goat cheese (for someone who doesn't like it, it's not cool not to mention it), and no bacon. I was given a knife that didn't cut. The supposedly delicious chicken supreme was a reheated dish that must have been from the day before. Very disappointed…

29/05/2025: Good service, good atmosphere. Pleasant food, despite the small quantity and overcooked meat. The dining room is much too hot.

02/02/2026: We (a group of four) were welcomed by the restaurant even though we arrived at 1:45 pm. We weren't rushed like at other restaurants where you feel like the service has to end soon. The service was excellent, the background music pleasant: we could chat without being disturbed. The hanger steak, ordered rare, was indeed rare, the kidneys were perfect, and the side dishes and desserts were delicious. The portions are generous. We had already dined there for our company's Christmas party in December and received very positive feedback; we highly recommend it.
