24/05/2026: Huge disappointment at this restaurant. We came for a family meal and were among the first to arrive. My elderly mother treated herself to a starter, but an hour and fifteen minutes later, we still hadn't received our main courses! We asked the waitress when we would be served, and her curt reply to my mother was that it was because she had ordered a starter! I find it unbelievable that, as customers who support these people, we should be treated like this. I see that others have already raised this issue! I do not recommend this restaurant; the food is mediocre, and the waitress's attitude is simply intolerable!

07/04/2026: On dit jamais deux sans trois ! C'est ce que j'ai réalisé aujourd'hui, en me rendant pour le lundi de Pâques dans cet établissement. Globalement décu par le service hostile et déplacé de la propriétaire. Je commande une bière française Meteor. On me présente une bière pils dans un verre allemand, Bitburger tout ce que je hais. Servi avec un amuse bouche soit disant au fromage blanc aux herbes, euh drôle de goût ! Le plat mijoté une bouchée à la reine, à été servi 45 mn après la commande, euh, c'est normal. Même si le chef est bon cuisinier, le service de son épouse est froid, et sélectif ! Alors oui, je n'habite plus dans ce secteur. Mais je pensais avoir trouvé une bonne table... Il en est rien. Je ne m'y rendrai plus. Et le pompon, le nettoyage de printemps,ne semble pas être de mise dans cet établissement, vu les projections de plats sur les murs, et les moutons de poussière sur les appliques, bien en vue des clients. They are seniors just like me, but clearly they don't have the same concept of customer service and hygiene.

27/05/2026: A very nice and beautifully decorated restaurant with a lovely terrace. Small menu, but all the dishes were very good. Definitely recommended if you're in the area!

05/06/2026: I chose to eat the lamb chops. They were excellent. I really enjoyed the lightly cooked vegetables on the side. The service was quick and very pleasant. I had a lovely time.

04/06/2026: We had an excellent fondue. The side dishes were also perfect, served and refilled generously. The staff was friendly. Perfect!

07/06/2026: A very disappointing experience. We were a party of seven, but only three of us were seated at a single, wobbly table. We had three menus for seven people. The service was extremely slow (three hours between our arrival and departure) and, moreover, unprofessional. The waitresses preferred chatting amongst themselves to clearing away excess drinks (aperitif glasses, bottles). We had ordered the children's menu so it would be served at the same time as the starters, but my son was served well after our main courses. Even though a gesture of goodwill was made, this reveals a lack of communication between the front of house and the kitchen. The cordon bleu was good, but I think it needs improvement, such as adding more cheese and a sauce. What should have been a pleasant experience was ultimately not...

07/06/2026: Following our dinner at Campagnol, I noticed there's room for improvement. The service was a mess; there were too many staff, but not much organization. The glasses and bottles from our aperitifs remained on the table throughout the meal, and people were chatting at the bar instead of clearing plates. The wait was incredibly long (3 hours there, 1.5 hours for our main course). As for the food, it was good but nothing special. The gravlax salmon could have used some pickles or condiments, the cordon bleu was good but lacked a sauce, and the waffle was nothing special.

20/05/2026: Excellent restaurant in Amnéville! The quality of the food is truly outstanding, with perfectly cooked meats and superb desserts. Pleasant service with smiling and professional waiters, reasonable wait times, and a spacious restaurant. A very good experience from start to finish; we will gladly return!

19/05/2026: Excellent restaurant. The setting and atmosphere are fantastic. The service is perfect, the servers are pleasant and very welcoming. The dishes are delicious, beautifully presented, and it's very good value for money. We highly recommend this establishment!

25/01/2026: Good and affordable food, very friendly staff, and welcoming owners. The tarte flambée, crème brûlée, and cakes are unbeatable. Everything else is really great too. The adjoining campsite is quite basic, but fantastic. The sanitary facilities are well-maintained and clean. Everything is just right. Camping as it should be. I always enjoy coming back. The terrace, interior, and toilets have been beautifully renovated.

01/11/2025: Unfortunately, frog legs are on the menu. I avoid restaurants that serve animals killed in cruel ways.

21/11/2025: Just passing through… What a find! Bravo! We thoroughly enjoyed everything from the appetizer to the dessert. The menu is simple, with only two choices, which guarantees seasonal cuisine. And it was so delicious! Not to mention the impeccable service. I recommend it 1000%!

22/10/2025: Too bad to wait almost an hour for the daily special. Otherwise, the food was very good. Although the frozen fries were meh.

29/05/2025: Good service, good atmosphere. Pleasant food, despite the small quantity and overcooked meat. The dining room is much too hot.

06/06/2026: We ended up here by chance today. In the late afternoon, the only options were burgers or salads. Grateful to finally have something to eat, we ordered a vegetarian burger with fries. We only had still water to drink. The service was very friendly. They also speak German. I happened to notice empty ice cream cups at the next table and asked about them. Desserts were, of course, also available. So today I had the most delicious ice cream of my life. Three scoops: chocolate, amarena cherry, and raspberry with whipped cream. Beautifully prepared and very generous. My husband had cherry cake with a scoop of pistachio ice cream and whipped cream. The cakes are homemade and served warm. Absolutely divine. We're only in the area for a week, but we'll definitely be back. They're only open for lunch on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; they're closed in the evenings.

31/05/2026: The cleanliness left much to be desired. Seated under a tent in front of the restaurant, we had to endure the smell of dog and cat urine. The dishes weren't exactly spotless (lipstick on the coffee cup, etc.). The dishes offered were completely uninspired… we can do better at home! The service could have been friendlier and more pleasant… there was clearly some disagreement between the waitresses. Not great! Poor value for money (dishes at €20, Mother's Day menu over €40). In short, very disappointing for all of us.

03/04/2026: We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. We opted for the half-board option. The welcome was warm, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The meals were generous and very well prepared. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable hotel with a family atmosphere.

20/04/2026: A piece of beef (€27) with quite a lot of gristle... well... I didn't enjoy it. When they asked me if everything was alright, I explained that the meat wasn't up to my expectations. The response was, "Oh yes, we're having some difficulties with the meat at the moment..." Fine, okay! Not even a small coffee or a digestif offered as a gesture of goodwill, to at least keep the hope of seeing them again... no, that's just not done! Oh really? I thought so; I must be an alien... ah, what a shame!
