01/08/2024: Wow! What a nice surprise ! When you enter it looks like a village bar, but behind it there are 2 large rooms. We had booked without knowing the concept. We were very well received by a really nice and professional young lady. With quite difficult children, in the kitchen we were very accommodating to ensure that everyone was happy 😀 how nice it is! There is only one daily menu. It was simple but very well done, excellent, well done to the cook. We all had a blast. It was generous, without fuss and with taste. We really remember this place in our top best moments of our summer vacation. The price is very fair, we got it for around €50 at 5 and we were no longer hungry at the end of the meal. If we come back to the area we will be happy to stop by. We recommend 💯% I would like to point out that the toilets were noted as unavailable but there are others in the room at the back right. Shaded and free parking opposite. No high chair for babies.

12/10/2025: Honestly, you can go there with your eyes closed. You will be welcomed as if you were at home by Chantal. A little isolated in the mountains, the location is great for those who love nature or who want to disconnect. The chef cooks fantastically well! A great place, I will come back

08/10/2025: My colleague and I stayed at this hotel for a business trip, and we were delighted with our experience. The hosts are truly welcoming and friendly, and the rooms are spotlessly clean and have very comfortable bedding. The setting is peaceful, and the surrounding landscape is magnificent. A huge thank you for your wonderful hospitality. We highly recommend this establishment!

22/09/2024: Ne connaissant pas l’enseigne, la curiosité nous poussa à y aller. Accueil correct, expliquation du concept par la sympathique caissière. Nous avons pris des cheeseburgers, frites parfum cajun et boissons coca aux parfums pas communs. Malgré un prix un peu élevé, Tout était excellent. Je n’ai pas mis la note de 5 car nous avons pris également un hot dog au bœuf. Il n’était pas bon, la viande était sans saveur et caoutchouteuse.

31/08/2024: Première expérience chez Five Guys : les cowboys étaient là et mon estomac se croyait à Vegas : du gras, du show, et des cacahuètes à volonté. J’ai commandé un burger, j'ai eu une vache entière entre deux tranches de pain. Les frites débordaient comme si on avait renversé tout le Kentucky dans mon assiette. Que Dieu bénisse l’Amérique et ses burgers 🇺🇲🦅

12/10/2025: This was the highlight of our tour of the lakes and mountains of Auvergne. The Central Hotel is one of those establishments that have sadly disappeared from our landscape. Simply decorated, in a style reminiscent of a time when time flowed more slowly, allowing us to savor the present moment. Special mention goes to the cuisine, rich and indulgent, delighting the palates of visitors, especially hikers like ourselves.

02/08/2024: While hiking, we stopped at this restaurant. We ordered 3 truffades to share with 4 (in addition to 3 other dishes, there were 7 of us in total). Lunch goes without incident (apart from the owner who smokes inside the restaurant and in the kitchen), the food is good (even if I agree with the comments which specify that it is nothing gourmet) and the service is pleasant. When paying, we were surprised by the bill on which 4 truffades were charged (with a slight reduction because we did not take any cold meats). We pay the bill but I still report the problem to the waitress (a difference of 16 euros), who does not react, so we leave the restaurant. As we put our bags in front of the entrance, the boss asks me to come back in and explain the “problem with the little one”. I therefore calmly repeat what surprised us on the note. After 30 seconds of discussion, the owner's reaction was as follows: "if you don't have the means, you shouldn't come to the restaurant" "come on, leave my house immediately" "the other customers are happy so that’s not my problem” while raising his voice. I consider this reaction totally inappropriate and disrespectful. I therefore strongly advise you to move on.

28/06/2024: Seul restaurant du secteur ce qui explique probablement le prix du menu..32 euros en semaine à midi. Le plat principal était bon ( poulet légumes...basique!) ,le clafoutis (9,50 euros à la carte tout de même !) quelconque et bourratif. J ai été particulièrement choquée par le comportement de la patronne. Outre le fait qu'elle mobilisait l'attention en parlant fort, elle s'est permis 2 réflexions désagréables envers sa serveuse, devant les clients, alors que celle ci assurait seule la totalité du service ( de la commande à l'addition) avec amabilité, efficacité et professionnalisme. Beaucoup de progrès à faire avant de se dire gastronomique!
