04/01/2026: They work with very good material. The meats are very good, the portions are very generous. It is worth coming from Céret or any town around to have a good menu. We did not expect to like it so much. The waitress was very friendly. Very good job!

09/09/2025: A fun motorcycle ride up the Spanish side of the road, and a descent down the French side. A nostalgic place for its history, it's worth the climb. Peaceful with beautiful views.

27/11/2025: Delicious, refined, and original cuisine, good value for money. Reservations recommended, often full. The owner is very welcoming. A great place to eat near the port. The owner has handed the reins over to his daughter who manages the restaurant just as well. The restaurant will be closed until February 3, 2026. Happy holidays!

20/09/2025: My partner and I had a great time. The service was excellent. We were served quickly, with very little waiting between courses. The servers were very friendly without being overbearing and were smiling, and we enjoyed ourselves. The portions were very well-proportioned; we left the table feeling satisfied without feeling "overstuffed."

We see that the owners are passionate and the cuisine is excellent (and that is an understatement), the service and wine advice are those of a passionate person, not to mention the place which has incredible charm. It was a favorite for us.

30/09/2025: This hotel and restaurant is a great place to stay. A warm welcome, a simple but comfortable room with a terrace, and a wide selection of breakfast options. Quality food, all at a reasonable price. And it's so well located in Racou. I highly recommend it.

17/01/2026: Fantastic experience at La Chaumière! We had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, well-prepared, and flavorful. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are incredibly kind and friendly. You feel right at home from the moment you arrive. I highly recommend it!

09/12/2025: The room was as expected, but it's true that the bathroom was dirty with stagnant water, and flushing it was awful. Lunch was nothing special, and many people were complaining about where it was served. Besides, you had to cut your own bread, meaning everyone was touching it. The plates and cups were dirty too. I don't want to give it a bad rating because of the price; the room looked fine in the photos, but the rest wasn't. The service was good, though, which is excellent.

25/11/2025: The bedding needs improvement. The bedding kit includes two sheets and two towels for €8, but when you come as a couple, you pay for the kit twice! Furthermore, sleeping in a bed where the bottom sheet is full of wrinkles because it's not fitted... not ideal. We didn't sleep well at all!

31/12/2025: Great little place. Proper French bistro in the old style without trying too hard. Outside bar even in winter (though the main road is not particularly attractive). When I spilled my beer, they were gracious and faintly amused at my embarrassment, and brought me a new one on the house. Food was typical French cuisine, limited menu, but done very well. Wine likewise. Prices were very reasonable. With lovely lemon digetif given free. Popular with locals even midweek. You may need to book if you are not there early.

23/11/2025: A little gem of a place! Le Petit Pastis was a real discovery: a simple, authentic restaurant where you immediately feel the warmth of the place and the very reasonable prices. The welcome? Pure joy, like catching up with old friends. You can feel the expertise, the tradition, and that touch of good humor that makes you want to come back even before you've left. In short, everything was perfect. An address to treasure… and to share to celebrate the fine restaurants that still uphold good taste and conviviality. We'll be back as soon as we're in your area! 👍😉

10/01/2026: Run away!!! Terrible value for money: 29€ ribeye steak was extremely low quality (a rip-off), and the chewing gum was inedible, more than half of it being fat... The restaurant was empty, and we were seated right in front of the bar where two employees watched (spied on) us throughout the entire meal (very, very awkward)... Only the wine was drinkable, but avoid it at all costs because of the poor quality and the cemetery-like atmosphere with the constant surveillance and complete lack of privacy...

16/11/2025: By chance, I was invited to and discovered "L'Estudiantine." I was expecting a small restaurant just for students, which it may well be, as its delicious cuisine welcomes everyone with love. However, there was also a charming clientele (of all ages), and I was happily among them. The chef's excellent cooking allowed us to enjoy some wonderful dishes, and we were a small group of people who savored the delicious food, including my friends and myself. The warm welcome from the owners was much appreciated. I wish them much success, as they have taken over this friendly, "homemade" restaurant, and as the saying goes, "Good house, we'll be back." Whether with Club Mini66 or individually. Rating: 👏👏👏l👏👏👏
