26/04/2026: The Auberge de la Côte is a sure bet! We celebrated our civil wedding at this authentic inn. A true little corner of paradise. Gaelle and Xavier made our event a perfect day thanks to their kindness, thoughtfulness, and above all, their delight for the taste buds of our guests and ourselves. The food is excellent! A must-do, we were completely won over.

12/05/2026: The atmosphere is pleasant and the setting is great; the food is delicious and plentiful. Lyon's cuisine is very varied and succulent.

08/05/2026: Our French friends introduced us to this little restaurant with its typical Lyonnais menu, in a lovely atmosphere. The staff was very friendly, and my partner and I were eager to discover Lyonnaise cuisine: mission accomplished, we were delighted! The St-Marcellin crisp was good and flavorful, although I've had better elsewhere. The pike quenelle was excellent, but served with simple white rice… a somewhat disappointing side dish. On the other hand, the pork belly on cervelle de canut… wow! Absolutely delicious! We loved it! A must-try! The Lyonnaise sausage was a little less impressive: the sausage was a bit stiff, and the side dish was ordinary. As for desserts, we were particularly impressed: the crème caramel and the praline tart were delicious! The chocolate fondant was a real treat! The menu is a bit pricey. We realize that restaurant prices in France have increased a lot compared to before… unfortunately!

However, setting aside the interior style, the experience quickly won us over. The service was excellent! Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Each dish was beautifully executed, showcasing both skill and care in the kitchen. When comparing the overall experience to other local restaurants in Beaujolais, it became clear why this place has earned a Michelin recommendation. The wine list is also impressive and affordable, offering great inspiration for exploring local wineries.

31/05/2026: My niece's wedding to the kind caretaker, in a magnificent setting, was far better than any ordinary wedding hall. We were able to eat, pray, watch our football match, enjoy the terrace, dance for the newlyweds, and even relax in the lounge. A wonderful day, filled with joy, good cheer, and beautiful memories. 24/05/2026: The cuisine is inventive and generally delicious. However, the desserts that day weren't quite up to par, especially the rather dry pistachio financier. The service was adequate, nothing more; some found it impersonal. We'll return nonetheless.

07/05/2026: I highly recommend it: excellent for a business lunch. The food is good, cooked with fresh ingredients, the portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. The daily special was €14.50. If you're in the area and looking for a restaurant, go for it.

The owner is kind and welcoming! I'm not sure I'd go there again, but if you happen to be passing through, it's the perfect place!
