11/09/2026: Second visit to this restaurant to enjoy the string-tied andouillette sausage. We ordered two set menus at 36-something cents each (aperitif, wine, and coffee not included). The two eggs meurette were perfect, served with croutons in a pleasantly flavorful, rich sauce. Excellent! The second course: authentic andouillette with old-fashioned mustard sauce. What a disappointment! While the sauce was good, the overcooked sweetbreads ruined the entire experience. We pointed this out to the waiter (who was attentive, with fast service... perfect) but received no response whatsoever from the kitchen... who must have noticed... what a shame! We traveled a lot of kilometers, and I don't think we'll be back. The price is far too high when you're not completely satisfied.

09/08/2026: A great spot for lunch with colleagues. The service is quick and very pleasant. Plus, it's nice (and increasingly rare) to be able to choose a starter and main course... or a main course and dessert for the same price. Three or four choices in each category—starter, main course, and dessert—is more than enough. And the menu changes frequently, so it doesn't get repetitive. A quiet terrace, away from the street, completes this lovely little picture.

13/09/2026: Hello, the outdoor menu's prices are outdated (valid Tuesday to Saturday, but not on Saturday), the website's prices are also outdated (€29.90 on Saturday for two choices), and the menu's offerings are incomplete (e.g., "pot"). The service was poor (no cutlery with the food already cold, bottled beer served in a glass (no bottle visible), no stirrer for syrup, cold plates, only one salt and pepper shaker for the entire dining room...), and the food was bland. Don't sit near the wine cellar (refrigerator) or you'll get a knock on the door every time you order! I've been to restaurants that showed more consideration for their customers.

10/09/2026: Excellent. I used to come here when I lived in Croix-Rousse until 2014. What a pleasure to have gone back! The setting, the service, the chef and his team, and of course the food—everything was perfect. We had a wonderful meal, a fantastic time. I can't wait to go back and bring family and friends.

27/09/2026: We celebrated my 60th birthday at Le Petit Meunier and had a wonderful time! ❤️ Everything was absolutely perfect: the beautiful setting by the water, the aperitif by the fire pit in the trees, the meal, and above all, the impeccable service. A huge thank you to the owners who were so kind, attentive, and very accommodating of all my requests for the day. We received a very warm welcome and the food was delicious. Thank you to the entire team at Le Petit Meunier, because thanks to you I was able to fully enjoy my birthday and spend a wonderful day surrounded by my family. 🥰 We will cherish the memories of this celebration!

24/09/2026: We chose the two-course set menu, and everything was delicious. They bring you a bottle of fresh water, and the beer is very good. The photos show the entrecote from the set menu, which was excellent, and the sausage, which was also very tasty. We really enjoyed it.

08/09/2026: A disgrace! The lentils tasted like canned lentils, drowning in a disgusting sauce. The sausage was cheap, the salad was bland—nothing was worth the price!

07/08/2026: A lovely restaurant with a very nice setting and a surprisingly spacious interior, complemented by a large, secluded terrace. The service was very friendly and welcoming throughout. The menu leans towards traditional French cuisine, with generous portions and a set menu option available at a more accessible price. We enjoyed the terrine, which was lovely and well balanced without being overpowering. The steak was very nicely prepared, and the dessert was a satisfying way to finish the meal. Overall, a pleasant experience with good food, friendly service and a particularly nice terrace. A good option if you are looking for generous, traditional French-style cooking in a relaxed setting.

11/08/2026: We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant and enjoyed every aspect of it. Visiting Lyon with our 4-year-old daughter, she was immediately offered a pasta dish. The decor is lovely, the service excellent, and the food delicious. Thank you for this meal, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
