24/03/2026: As an occasional customer of this neighborhood restaurant, I was very disappointed today. The wait between courses was far too long. I had to keep asking the waitress for my main course. She was deep in conversation with an Italian tourist who had just sat down next to me and completely ignored me. My dish finally arrived along with the one meant for the Italian, even though it had arrived more than half an hour after mine. She served me with an ironic, "I hadn't forgotten you." What can I say? She continued chatting with this Milanese customer, giving him a tour of Lyon, pacing back and forth while completely ignoring me. I was hoping to order dessert, but my gestures, both with my eyes and my hand, went unanswered. Disheartened, I got up to pay at the register. I didn't hesitate to express my disappointment with the service to the second waitress (who was much more charming, by the way). Le patron toujours fidèle à lui-même est bien sympathique, mais vraisemblablement ne se doute pas qu'en salle c'est une vraie cacophonie. Bref franchement même si vous n'êtes pas contraint par le temps, vous allez devoir prendre votre mal en patience. Ou alors faites-vous passer pour un transalpin, ça ira beaucoup plus vite. À bon entendeur...

04/09/2026: Excellent restaurant, the waiter was incredibly kind, but as for the woman behind the bar, everyone has bad days, but we shouldn't have to suffer for it, and especially not the waiter who was treated like dirt. Otherwise, top-notch!

02/09/2026: The waitress was great, thank you! As for the manager, he wasn't very welcoming. The mussels weren't very well cleaned, and not all of them in the small pot were cooked. The fries were bland and dry. So I won't be going back. But thank you again to the smiling and pleasant waitress.

20/08/2026: This was a bouchon I really wanted to visit because it has great ratings and is very popular with locals in the Paul Bocuse Market. I visited around lunchtime on a Sunday, and the atmosphere was lively with locals enjoying drinks. I sat at the bar looking at the French menu, but the staff member noticed I was having trouble interpreting it and kindly gave me an English menu as well. However, since some items were missing from the English menu, I ended up looking at both and ordered Saucisson Sec, Onglais, and a glass of red wine. They asked about the doneness; I initially planned to order the safe choice of medium, but a local gentleman sitting next to me insisted I order red, so I did. The result was extremely satisfying. The Saucisson was incredibly flavorful, so I finished my glass of wine in no time. The skirt steak was also very tender and had a great meaty flavor, even though it was rare. The sauce was good, but I actually preferred eating it without it. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere felt authentically local. I highly recommend wrapping up your visit here after exploring the Paul Bocuse Market.
