23/02/2026: A typical Lyonnais bistro, we had a great time with friends. There are several starters, a main course, and several desserts as well. We ate very well and the atmosphere was friendly!

22/02/2026: A typical, unpretentious Lyonnais bistro. We filled in for a table of 12. The appetizers and charcuterie were served in salad bowls for everyone. We were able to quickly sample everything (by the time we'd washed our hands, the salad bowls had been cleared away, and the charcuterie was just what the other 10 people had left). The main course was very good and generous; I just think my neighbor at the next table was forgotten regarding the side dish for his butcher's cut, unless the small individual gratin dish was meant for two. The cervelle de canut (a cheese spread) was very spicy; it's a shame it wasn't offered plain. Finally, regarding dessert, it would be better to serve the flan in slices for each person. We had one flan (the size of a loaf pan) for 12 people (the slices were thin, especially when some people helped themselves generously), while a table of four at the back of the room, facing the street, received the same flan. The prunes were delicious, as was the compote, but again it was impossible to have more, the salad bowls were quickly collected by the waitress...Our table neighbors were charming and contributed to making our time enjoyable.

17/02/2026: Great brasserie with welcoming menu. Mainly regulars as opposed to tourists from the Part Dieu station. Very busy with ‘work/team lunch breaks’ so obviously a sign that the food is good. Can be very busy so best to book. Only 4 stars for atmosphere as there is not a lot of space between tables which makes the place a bit cramped. But the service and the food are worth it!

24/02/2026: A delightful discovery during a stroll: this little restaurant, frequently mentioned in the Petit Futé and Routard guides. At first glance, the restaurant seems small, but you'll find a lovely vaulted cellar with a decor reminiscent of your grandmother's home! The seating is excellent, with typical Lyonnais and homemade fare. Be sure to book ahead, as this restaurant is very popular. Highly recommended!

22/02/2026: Yum, a beautiful piece of veal, undoubtedly cooked at a low temperature, and an exquisite chocolate fondant tart. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Just one tiny minor point: while the 'birthday cake' was indeed there (what you provided was perfectly adequate, no problem), I think I had to mention the gluten intolerance to request a gluten-free bread. But thank you for a lovely time at your home.

19/01/2026: What more can we say than absolutely fantastic! The decor is a blend of modern and retro, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. There's a lovely, spacious outdoor area with a terrace that we'd be delighted to explore when the weather is nice. The welcome was friendly and professional, with a real focus on customer satisfaction. We wanted to order sweet potato fries, but they refused because they weren't happy with the day's batch; they said they were a failure. We ended up ordering classic homemade fries, which were really good, just like the rest of our meals, which were as generous as they were delicious. In short, we highly recommend this fantastic place, and we can't wait to come back. We don't have any photos to add to this review because we were too busy enjoying ourselves 😉 P.S.: Their apartment, which we rented through Airbnb, was just as lovely.

A must-visit to discover (or rediscover) Lyonnais cuisine in all its splendor. We will definitely be back!

22/02/2026: I booked online, and during the booking process, they asked about any allergies: I specified a peanut allergy. Upon arrival at the restaurant, the waitress asked who was allergic to peanuts, and we reiterated our allergy. A waiter came to take our order, and the person with the allergy ordered the octopus (no peanuts were listed on the menu). We started eating, and after a few bites, my friend felt a tickle in his throat, his stomach swelled, and he immediately stopped eating. I asked the waiter: there were peanuts in the side dish (the worst allergen)... My friend's condition didn't worsen, but we were worried, and he was having a very unpleasant experience. The waiter apologized, but I emphasized the seriousness of the situation. We finished our meal anyway (it was another friend's birthday), and the waiter asked, "Can I offer you some digestifs?" We assumed he wanted to do something nice since they had almost sent my friend to the emergency room, so we each ordered a rum (three rums). When it came time to pay, we realized that the after-dinner drinks (over €100) and the octopus had also been charged, with no gesture of goodwill whatsoever. We kept a straight face because it was a friend's birthday, but the person with the allergy had to take antihistamines. Luckily, my friend is fine, but it's outrageous; we're considering filing a complaint.

19/02/2026: I came to this restaurant with a The Fork voucher and I'm very disappointed with the service. We clearly felt a difference in the quality of service compared to those who didn't have a discount. For example, a table arrived 10-15 minutes after us and finished 10-15 minutes before us. We waited almost an hour for our food. One of the waitresses was also very cold towards us. When it came time to pay, she didn't even say a word to us, not even to tell us the amount. She handed us the card reader and barely said goodbye. However, I do want to mention that the food was excellent and the other two servers were very friendly. I find it very disappointing that there's a difference in the quality of service when we come with a discount.

03/03/2026: Everything is very good at this bakery. I just think it's a shame to impose a €7 minimum spend for Ticket Restaurant cards, especially given the current economic climate! You're one of the few businesses in the neighborhood that does this.
