16/04/2026: Lunch menu, calm atmosphere, and a delicate meal. A very pleasant experience; the vanilla trompe l'oeil was superb. Not disappointed. A truly wonderful experience.

09/04/2026: Despite the beautiful professional photos on their Instagram account, the reality was quite different during our lunch. Just an off day? Perhaps… aside from the foie gras and the trompe-l'œil vanilla dessert, the rest of the dishes didn't live up to our expectations. The mini grilled chorizos with the cold coconut salad were disappointing, as were the seared scallops, which ended up mushy from contact with the tasteless grapefruit hummus. As for the hot chocolate mousse, it was more like lukewarm chocolate cream covering a tiny scoop of peanut ice cream. The outdated gray polyester napkins need replacing, and the cleanliness of the cutlery needs improvement. And don't even get me started on the service—barely a hello, a thank you, a goodbye.

13/12/2025: I went here with my girlfriend a week ago, and the experience was delightful. The restaurant is really authentic, everything is homemade, the waiter is kind, and the chef/owner is really welcoming. If I come back to Lyon, I'll come back for sure!

02/03/2026: I discovered this restaurant. Its concept of "open-faced sandwiches" at affordable prices is original—except for the oysters: only 4 plus a small glass of white wine for 10 euros... But everything else is varied, with generous portions, and the waitress is welcoming and friendly with a smile! Well located on the peninsula. I recommend it for a lunch or dinner break—original and very pleasant, almost like stepping out of a tourist trap!

28/02/2026: Nice atmosphere. Good value for money. Could be a bit cleaner. Cobwebs were hanging overhead. Don't look up. Lol. The food was a bit too exposed for my liking. Friendly, cheerful, and smiling staff.

01/05/2026: The setting is incredible: dim, intimate, and hushed, filled with curiosities. Without a doubt, the most intimate restaurant I've had the pleasure of trying in Lyon. The dishes were delicious, and the service impeccable. The servers perfectly reflect the ambiance: discreet, knowledgeable, very pleasant, and full of helpful advice. In short, it's flawless: the food is delicious, the ambiance is beautiful, and you enter a bubble, a little cocoon cut off from the world for the duration of your meal. 10/04/2026: The level of service is no longer what it used to be, the air conditioning didn't cool anything at all, on the second day there was no hot water for the shower, the few tables available at breakfast were not cleared, I had to push away the dirty plates myself and nobody cleaned during my breakfast, I have never seen anything like it, in short a Novotel not at all up to the expected standard, I will never return to this hotel.

18/02/2026: I love this restaurant. The decor is warm and inviting, and in good weather, there's a magnificent and unexpected terrace right in the heart of the city. The service is impeccable, friendly, and attentive, and the cuisine is excellent and sophisticated. Honestly, it's top-notch!

27/11/2025: I had a very good lunch today at this lovely establishment. The decor is very pleasant and the service was quick and friendly. My daily special was a beautiful chicken leg with a very good sauce, accompanied by potatoes and a delicious green vegetable purée. For dessert, I had a delicious sneaker tart, rich in caramel and pecans, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The bill was very reasonable, and I highly recommend it!

01/04/2026: Warning! The low rating and negative reviews are due to the practices of the previous manager; the 5-star rating is now well-deserved! I come here for a meal or an aperitif every time I'm in Lyon. I had lunch here yesterday with colleagues who were all delighted. Don't hesitate to try out its ambiance and banquettes, which give the café a lot of charm.

26/03/2026: Tattoos, yes!, but a smile and a professional demeanor are optional. I was planning to come back, but the persistence of these observations creates doubt! Will there be a third attempt? ... There is competition. Customers are more easily lost than gained... So!

06/02/2026: We were looking for a place to enjoy a good wine and some appetizers before dinner. Nice selection of wines by the glass! We then had a mix of cheeses, delicious. The owner is kind and welcoming! I'm not sure I'd go there again, but if you happen to be passing through, it's the perfect place!
