07/08/2026: A truly wonderful experience at Prairial. The dishes were all excellent, creative, and perfectly executed, with warm and attentive service. We might have appreciated an additional meat dish on the menu, but that's a minor point. On the other hand, the wine pairings didn't quite live up to our expectations and didn't provide the expected added value. Despite this, the experience remains of high quality and well worth discovering.

02/03/2026: I discovered this restaurant. Its concept of "open-faced sandwiches" at affordable prices is original—except for the oysters: only 4 plus a small glass of white wine for 10 euros... But everything else is varied, with generous portions, and the waitress is welcoming and friendly with a smile! Well located on the peninsula. I recommend it for a lunch or dinner break—original and very pleasant, almost like stepping out of a tourist trap!

28/02/2026: Nice atmosphere. Good value for money. Could be a bit cleaner. Cobwebs were hanging overhead. Don't look up. Lol. The food was a bit too exposed for my liking. Friendly, cheerful, and smiling staff.

24/05/2026: Nice hotel with an ideal location opposite the train station. The only downside is the high room price. The room was clean enough, although the shoe marks in the bathroom and a coffee stain on the floor left a bad impression. For the price, everything should be spotless. As for breakfast, there was a good selection!

30/08/2026: Excellent experience at this traditional Lyonnais restaurant! We truly enjoyed everything from start to finish. The dishes were delicious, beautifully prepared, and of very high quality. Everything we tasted was absolutely excellent! We also loved the interior decor; you're completely immersed in the atmosphere of a genuine period restaurant. The service was also very good, and the entire meal went perfectly. A wonderful discovery and a place we wholeheartedly recommend! We will definitely be back.

28/08/2026: I wasn't familiar with this place; I went there on a whim, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. For the first time in the history of fast food, the burger looked exactly like the picture, appetizing and perfectly executed. Presented neatly, accompanied by fries, in a box, it was all much better than I expected. The taste exceeded my expectations. The portion size was ample, and the quality lived up to the price. Special mention goes to the brioche bun with a seam on one side to prevent the filling from spilling out. I'll gladly return to try other dishes.

15/09/2026: We had dinner here in Lyon on our last night and, unfortunately, it was our worst meal. I usually look at these for areas when reviewing a restaurant. Food: My wife had the lamb shank was mostly fat and it was very bad. I had the shepherds pie and it was ok. Basically, just some meat and potatoes and not much flavor. Service: Not good. It was over 30 minutes before someone even came to take our order. There were times when we didn't see a waiter for almost 15 minutes. Atmosphere: Terrible. We made the mistake of eating outside and we were right by the road. Cars and trucks with diesel fumes idling and make noise most of the time. People walking by smoking weed. Very unpleasant experience. Value for price: While the prices were reasonable for the area, the value for the actual food, service and atmosphere were not good.

14/09/2026: The staff was able to present and offer suitable dishes in relation to my allergies. However, the food was somewhat disappointing and tasted quite average. My dessert was "fresh cheese" where I got a basket of burnt baguette and a soup plate of very salty liquid cheese dip - I couldn't finish it. However, the service was quite nice and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere.

05/09/2026: It's been a long time since I've experienced this kind of atmosphere, the kind only those over 50 can truly appreciate: a warm, friendly, and welcoming place. I initially just stopped for a beer after a two-hour motorcycle ride in the sun. Located right in the heart of Lyon, I discovered a welcoming owner who made me want to stay and eat. And the tagine, couscous, and many other dishes were all equally delicious. I don't just recommend it; I highly recommend it. A little touch of humor describes the owner: he calls it "Au Bon Beurre" (The Good Butter), which says it all for someone from North Africa. Steph

16/08/2026: During our exploration of Lyon, we stopped for drinks and treated ourselves to a delicious cocktail, beer, and the kids to something non-alcoholic. We ordered directly at the bar inside from a really friendly bartender. The experience was very pleasant overall.

30/08/2026: Excellent food and service. The interior dining room lacked a bit of charm, and our table had a view of the dishwashing area. But this didn't spoil our enjoyment.

19/08/2026: Belgian tourists visiting Lyon, we stumbled upon this traditional Lyonnais restaurant… and what a wonderful discovery! We were won over, especially by the sweetbreads and kidneys, both excellent. This restaurant stands out for the quality and generous portions of its dishes, as well as its warm welcome. A truly delightful Lyonnais experience that we wholeheartedly recommend!
