16/10/2026: The welcome was average, but the setting is warm and inviting, with a lovely terrace overlooking the Saône. The €50 set menu, including the frog legs, was very good, but not hot enough, as was the gratin (bring your own food warmers). When I made the reservation, I requested a small gift, but we received nothing. The welcome, the attentiveness, the service, and the presentation are all areas for improvement for this newly opened restaurant, which nevertheless shows promise.

08/10/2026: This is my second visit to this restaurant, where sharing is key. From the assortment of mezze to the very complete dishes, there are several meats, vegetables, and sauces to share between two or four people, not to mention the desserts bursting with honey and pistachio. The service is simple but efficient. A lovely place. Note that it's best to reserve for lunch.

22/07/2026: After nine years, I returned to this institution… The chef has changed, but the owner, Giles, remains at his post. What can I say except that I thoroughly enjoyed the €25 frog leg menu: starter, frog legs with fries, a quarter-liter of wine, and a coffee. One wishes there were many more establishments of this caliber.

07/06/2026: Based on the value and the excellent room condition, I am giving 5 stars. The hotel is part of the FORUM complex. It's next to the Gare Part Dieux station, but it's quiet. It's very modern. The price is very reasonable. The staff is friendly.

02/03/2026: I discovered this restaurant. Its concept of "open-faced sandwiches" at affordable prices is original—except for the oysters: only 4 plus a small glass of white wine for 10 euros... But everything else is varied, with generous portions, and the waitress is welcoming and friendly with a smile! Well located on the peninsula. I recommend it for a lunch or dinner break—original and very pleasant, almost like stepping out of a tourist trap!

28/02/2026: Nice atmosphere. Good value for money. Could be a bit cleaner. Cobwebs were hanging overhead. Don't look up. Lol. The food was a bit too exposed for my liking. Friendly, cheerful, and smiling staff.

14/10/2026: Friendly little self-serve bar with a happy hour plus all Tuesday pm near Pl de St Paul. Friendly English speaking bar tenders who know their drinks. Nice selection of beer and cocktails. No food served here. Ladies: a very clean bathroom (with a toilet seat). Have already stopped by twice already for happy hour during a 6 day stay and are likely to be back. I give it 5 stars

12/10/2026: Best burgers in the neighborhood. The welcome is always so warm and friendly – ​​thanks in large part to Sophia. Always available, even during peak hours, the self-service kiosk orders are made more pleasant by the counter service. Kudos to them and to everyone in the kitchen.

13/09/2026: €6.50 for a 25cl IPA + mint water is a bit pricey. The service was friendly but not amazing; they offered an appetizer platter or asked if we were staying for dinner... Not great, which is a shame.

03/09/2026: A pleasant setting, not exceptional inside, but it's fine. The main draw is the huge terrace on the square, with both sun and shade. The prices are quite reasonable for the Presqu'île, and the menu isn't too extensive, just the way I like it. Finally, a special mention goes to the young and friendly service team, familiar but not overly so, which makes you feel right at home. A second special mention for this establishment where you're also well received if you're a dog: absolutely dog-friendly!

18/10/2026: A huge thank you to Victoria Hall where we celebrated our 50th birthdays last night, October 17, 2026. We had an exceptional evening with a superb menu. I came last night for my mother's birthday; we had reserved a private room. Everything went very well. A perfect, delicious meal and top-notch service. The staff is very friendly and professional. All this in a beautiful setting. I highly recommend this restaurant, which must also be very pleasant in the summer with its terrace. Thank you, we had a wonderful evening at your establishment.
