28/01/2026: I'm ashamed. I booked a table in September for Valentine's Day, knowing it's a very popular date. I received a simple text message informing me of the cancellation of my reservation two weeks before the big day. It's impossible to contact anyone.

28/01/2026: Cancellation request today for a Valentine's Day reservation made a month ago. 🤨 Reason: restaurant closed. 😡 It would have been better not to take our reservation, especially for this event...it's going to be difficult to find a table now. 😡

03/02/2026: It all started with a birthday gift from the Confluence shopping center. I decided to try the Vapiano restaurant. What a treat! I received a very warm welcome (from the blue-eyed waiter); He didn't hesitate to suggest a different dish than the one I had chosen—kudos for his professionalism! The restaurant's atmosphere is superb, with great background music. I really want to thank him for his kind gesture at the end of my meal, which made the experience truly special. I highly recommend it!

01/02/2026: An extremely disappointing experience on every level. The food arrived barely lukewarm: undercooked pasta, bland, tasteless pizzas. There was no skill in the kitchen, and no enjoyment in eating. The service was incomprehensibly slow, especially since the restaurant requires ordering via QR code and payment before being served, ostensibly to save time. Given the poor quality of the meal, one wonders if this system isn't simply a way to avoid complaints or prevent customers from leaving without paying. Drinks are advertised as available on the app, but then suddenly become unavailable once the order is placed. For children, the syrup cups were sticky and served without any care. As for family-friendly options, it was a complete failure: all the tables were high, but the high chairs weren't the right height, making the meal uncomfortable and unsafe. And only three high chairs for a full restaurant speaks volumes about the consideration given to families. The desserts are just like everything else: tasteless, poorly executed, and underwhelming. To top it all off, the value for money is simply shameful considering the service offered. This establishment is poorly managed and disorganized, with no regard for quality or customer comfort. It's an address that charges a premium for a mediocre experience and is clearly not worth the trip.

21/09/2024: So stellt man sich Lyonaiser Küche vor. Derb, bäuerlich, aber von guter Qualität. Wir bekamen einen Tipp, hier Bouchon Lyonnais zu probieren und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Gerne wieder.

04/12/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and what a lucky break it was! We received a very warm welcome, and the food was excellent. Plus, they offer gluten-free options without any problems – pure bliss! We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Lyon.

17/01/2026: We arrived as a couple, and the waiter just looked at us without saying a word. Neither did we 😂 After ten seconds, I finally blurted out, "Can we eat?" He pointed to a table. We sat down, but the table was sticky. I gestured to him to ask if we could move, but no luck. So we took another table next door… also sticky. Anyway, I ordered. I chose a pig's stomach soup. Five minutes later, he brought me a large bowl of tripe soup, explaining that they were out of stomach. The soup was very good, piping hot, and very spicy—perfect for a 2°C (36°F) day. In short: terrible service, good food but ridiculously expensive, with a simple bowl of rice costing €4.

14/01/2026: Excellent experience at Chez Riz 🥢😊. The dishes are flavorful, well-balanced, and generous, featuring authentic Chinese recipes 🍜🔥. The Peking duck and stir-fried noodles are definitely worth trying 😋. Fast service, discreet and efficient staff 👍. Simple yet friendly atmosphere, perfect for a lunch or dinner without any unpleasant surprises. A reliable address in Lyon 👌

10/11/2025: We went in and out of the café, and the kitchen and service were appreciative. It was very dirty. There were toys for children, but no rugs or proper seating. Disappointed.

05/10/2025: Great kid-friendly cafe. Games, books, and a lovely owner. A place we love. And the kids love watching the fire trucks leave the station across the street.

15/12/2025: Comptoir Cité enjoys an ideal location just steps from the Cité Internationale, making it convenient for lunch during a conference. The portions are decent, but the pulled pork in the Texas burger was a bit dry and harder to chew than one would expect from pulled pork. A practical choice, but with room for improvement in this regard.

03/01/2026: A really nice bar that's kept its original charm. No matcha oats here, no, but a proper, no-frills café crème that you can enjoy with a brioche or croissant you've brought from outside. You can also enjoy oysters at other times of the day. The owners are friendly. Everything you need for a perfect morning coffee 😊
