03/02/2026: It all started with a birthday gift from the Confluence shopping center. I decided to try the Vapiano restaurant. What a treat! I received a very warm welcome (from the blue-eyed waiter); He didn't hesitate to suggest a different dish than the one I had chosen—kudos for his professionalism! The restaurant's atmosphere is superb, with great background music. I really want to thank him for his kind gesture at the end of my meal, which made the experience truly special. I highly recommend it!

01/02/2026: An extremely disappointing experience on every level. The food arrived barely lukewarm: undercooked pasta, bland, tasteless pizzas. There was no skill in the kitchen, and no enjoyment in eating. The service was incomprehensibly slow, especially since the restaurant requires ordering via QR code and payment before being served, ostensibly to save time. Given the poor quality of the meal, one wonders if this system isn't simply a way to avoid complaints or prevent customers from leaving without paying. Drinks are advertised as available on the app, but then suddenly become unavailable once the order is placed. For children, the syrup cups were sticky and served without any care. As for family-friendly options, it was a complete failure: all the tables were high, but the high chairs weren't the right height, making the meal uncomfortable and unsafe. And only three high chairs for a full restaurant speaks volumes about the consideration given to families. The desserts are just like everything else: tasteless, poorly executed, and underwhelming. To top it all off, the value for money is simply shameful considering the service offered. This establishment is poorly managed and disorganized, with no regard for quality or customer comfort. It's an address that charges a premium for a mediocre experience and is clearly not worth the trip.

30/11/2025: We organized a family birthday celebration with about twenty people. We received a wonderful welcome. The food and wines were exquisite and of excellent quality. I highly recommend it.

27/11/2025: The wait and service were far from commensurate with the price. It took an hour between arrival and being served. The dishes were tasty but not filling.

17/01/2026: We arrived as a couple, and the waiter just looked at us without saying a word. Neither did we 😂 After ten seconds, I finally blurted out, "Can we eat?" He pointed to a table. We sat down, but the table was sticky. I gestured to him to ask if we could move, but no luck. So we took another table next door… also sticky. Anyway, I ordered. I chose a pig's stomach soup. Five minutes later, he brought me a large bowl of tripe soup, explaining that they were out of stomach. The soup was very good, piping hot, and very spicy—perfect for a 2°C (36°F) day. In short: terrible service, good food but ridiculously expensive, with a simple bowl of rice costing €4.

14/01/2026: Excellent experience at Chez Riz 🥢😊. The dishes are flavorful, well-balanced, and generous, featuring authentic Chinese recipes 🍜🔥. The Peking duck and stir-fried noodles are definitely worth trying 😋. Fast service, discreet and efficient staff 👍. Simple yet friendly atmosphere, perfect for a lunch or dinner without any unpleasant surprises. A reliable address in Lyon 👌

21/04/2026: The meal itself was good, but the chef and we clearly have different ideas about what constitutes "hot." After a decent starter, we received a main course that wasn't the one we had chosen, but it was acceptable. However, it was cold, and the chef came over to tell us that his bain-maries were hot, so there was no reason to complain. The icing on the cake came when, at the time of payment, the chef, who is also the owner, condescendingly said, as we were saying goodbye, "Goodbye!" We were four tables in the veranda, and three of us said it was cold for them too! In short, after more than 10 years of being treated like customers, we'll go elsewhere, like La Popotte à Nicole, where everything is top-notch! The waiters, on the other hand, seemed very embarrassed and did everything they could to lighten the mood.

19/04/2026: A wonderful experience at this Croix-Rousse restaurant. It's still too early in the season to try their indoor terrace, but we'll be back to test it. The food is high-quality and generous, and the chef has a masterful command of sauces. Pure homemade bliss. A nice touch: the complimentary cervelle de canut (a cheese spread) served with a few slices of bread as an appetizer. Impeccable service from the young waitress and waiter, who were always smiling and clearly happy to be working. A great find!

20/04/2026: We celebrated a hen party at Docks40 on Saturday. The food was delicious, and the servers were very friendly and smiling—super pleasant! The only downside was the air conditioning right above us. At reception, they insisted we take off our jackets, but as a result, we were all freezing! 😅 It takes a little while to get into the groove afterward (we would have liked a bit more Latin music 😝, but to each their own). Overall, a great experience.

19/04/2026: Far from satisfactory. The service is mediocre; they rush you to order, serve you food before you've finished your aperitif, the cocktails are expensive and very average... the desserts aren't great either... and to top it all off, you pay and shortly after, they rather rudely usher you from your table to free up space for dancing. We won't be back.

01/04/2026: Service was nice.. clean.. food is great.. there are also kid corner, perfect for bring the kiddos ♥️

10/11/2025: We went in and out of the café, and the kitchen and service were appreciative. It was very dirty. There were toys for children, but no rugs or proper seating. Disappointed.

20/04/2026: We were drawn in by the quaint atmosphere and the friendly staff. Unfortunately, I can't rate the food as highly; it was truly subpar. Not recommended.

20/04/2026: Sexually harassed by the cook. Not only is it overpriced and average at best, but as we left the restaurant the greasy cook felt the urge to shout sexually explicit nonsense at the women in our group, while the rest of the male staff (all of them smoking) did absolutely nothing. STAY AWAY

17/04/2026: I didn't like the savory waffles, but the crepes were good. The service was adequate; we ate inside, and it felt more like a bar counter than a proper dining room. Perhaps eating outside would have changed my rating, or perhaps not.

04/12/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and what a lucky break it was! We received a very warm welcome, and the food was excellent. Plus, they offer gluten-free options without any problems – pure bliss! We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Lyon.

10/04/2026: Being from Lyon, we already have plenty of experience with traditional Lyonnais restaurants. We ate at M'man's last night and we highly recommend it! A wonderful welcome from very friendly and attentive staff, a beautiful and very typical setting (with its inverted kitchen piano on the ceiling!), and delicious homemade food. The service was quick, and from the appetizer to the dessert, we enjoyed excellent Lyonnais dishes. Don't hesitate, go!

04/04/2026: We went at lunchtime without a reservation. There were two set menus, priced at €19 and €29; we chose the cheaper one. The menu was quite filling and delicious for lunch. We specified that we didn't eat pork when ordering, as there are many pork options in bouchon culture. I had fish as both a starter and a main course, and it was very good. There were also two beef options. I haven't seen a more affordable option than €19 among bouchon prices. In that sense, I can say it's a great value for money place. If you want to order the main course alone (without the set), the price is €13, which I think is incredibly affordable, because each portion is really nice and filling. The crème brûlée was AMAZING!

14/04/2026: A truly wonderful discovery. Absolutely nothing to criticize, and the food is simply delicious. It rivals Michelin-starred restaurants. We will gladly return.

02/05/2026: Superb! We were eagerly awaiting the reopening of Villa Florentine to discover the new chef's cuisine. We were delighted by the various dishes we enjoyed that evening. Thank you to the entire team! We will be back!

30/01/2026: A string of mediocrities. Table in a draft. Disorganized service. Amuse-bouche served before the ordered bottle of champagne. Presentation of the wrong bottle of wine, already opened! Presentation of the digestif trolley during the cheese course. Hot dish served cold. Manager nowhere to be seen. When it came time to pay the bill of over €1000, not a word of apology or a gesture of goodwill. In short, unworthy of their reputation. The service is more professional in some of the smaller restaurants in the area. Avoid at all costs!

21/06/2025: Hello. I've only known this place for a week and I love it. The staff is very friendly, the food is good. In short, a really nice place. Plus, tonight, there was good music with talented people. So I really enjoyed it!
