12/09/2026: Accidentally didn't see the wait to be seated sign (it's a cafe not a restaurant so I didn't realise on this occasion). Received poor attitude from the waitress in response who glared at us, then proceeded to slam the menus down in front of us so we left. Would have happily waited back in line to be seated if asked.

15/09/2026: Always an excellent meal in a sumptuous setting. However, we often waited a long time between courses, and one starter hadn't been tipped, which also lengthened the wait…

15/09/2026: Very disappointed with the main course, namely duck and sautéed potatoes. The meat was rubbery, difficult to cut, and the potatoes were barely cooked. The dish was lukewarm. The chicken with morels was tiny and there were hardly any morels. The wine was corked and had to be changed. The ice creams were served without any preparation; some were melted! The service was far too slow.

25/07/2026: We had a wonderful evening at La Boname de Bruno! We ordered a starter, main course, and dessert, and everything was absolutely delicious. The ingredients are top-quality, and it shows in every bite, from start to finish. The atmosphere is fantastic; you feel right at home and, above all, you receive a very warm welcome. The waitress and the chef, who is also the owner, are lovely and incredibly kind. We even had the chance to chat with them, which made the experience even more enjoyable and convivial. A truly great find in Lyon's 1st arrondissement! If you appreciate good food, delicious ingredients, and places where the service is just as important as the food itself, I highly recommend you check out this restaurant. We will definitely be back! Thank you again for these wonderful flavors!

23/07/2026: We enjoyed the food and service. The price-quality ratio is a little high.

13/09/2026: A huge disappointment at this restaurant, which we had high expectations for. The setting is very nice, and the staff are excellent (they replaced one of our dishes without any trouble). However, the food is far below what one would expect at this price point and in this type of restaurant. There's not much flavor, and when there is, the portions are tiny (strawberry dessert). The cocktail prices are outrageous.

11/09/2026: Disappointed by the BRASERO concept. The selection lacks variety, and the cooking techniques are rather inconsistent. The appetizer and dessert buffet also deserves more explanation and presentation to better understand the products offered. The concept is interesting, but there are clearly areas for improvement to provide a higher-quality experience.

10/08/2026: We didn't know where to eat that day, and this time we stumbled upon the best place. Surrounded by tourist traps, this isn't one of them. It's a small, very welcoming place, and the owner was incredibly kind, both in his service and in letting us eat inside (we had our dog with us). If you're in Lyon and looking for a reliable option amidst all the tourist crowds, this is it.

01/08/2026: I've been going there for almost a year, and this wine bar has become my favorite place. The owner is lovely and his products are of excellent quality. I highly recommend it.

30/06/2026: The setting was lovely and the welcome was excellent. We had lunch there and the dishes served were superb, perfectly complementing the wines recommended by the owner, who has a wonderful talent for pairing food and wine. A big thank you for the warm welcome!

18/06/2026: Passing through Lyon, we discovered this welcoming place. A shaded terrace. An air-conditioned dining room. The owner is equally welcoming. We enjoyed an excellent meal, great value for money, with a glass of wine. We'll be back.

29/08/2026: It's a communal dining experience, so you're seated with "strangers," but that's what makes it memorable! The Lyonnaise cuisine is excellent, and the service is impeccable. They have great expertise if you want to immerse yourself in the local culture.

24/08/2026: Tried it several times on the terrace at lunchtime: a very good spot in Confluence. The lunch specials are unbeatable: the food is excellent, the ingredients are fresh. You can tell everything is homemade. The portions are generous and the desserts… Special mention for the chef's lemon tart 😋 The menu is updated and refined with seasonal products. The manager always has a smile and the service is quick and efficient: impeccable. I highly recommend it!!

12/09/2026: Language barrier to start with (waiter wasn’t English speaker), besides the place did not give us the good vibe in general. Cannot rate their food as we did not eat here. In response to the owner’s reply: This service is to allow people to Review businesses based on THEIR personal experience. As foreign traveller it is important to know where you can find someone that understands my needs since at the end of the day I’m going to buy from your business. Maybe use these feedback to improve your service rather than getting upset of a review based on a personal experience of two customers who used your services and were not impressed. Please note that i have mentioned the bar service and I have not implied any negative review to the food or the restaurant side of your business. Hope this helps. Take care.

19/08/2026: A fantastic restaurant in Lyon's tourist area. The service is excellent and the staff are very friendly. They offer thoughtful touches like appetizers upon arrival. The food is beautifully prepared with homemade ingredients. You'll find plenty of opportunities to sample Lyon's specialties in a very pleasant setting! Highly recommended during your sightseeing trips!

19/08/2026: This place is incredible! A huge collection of cookbooks, a place to eat healthy, varied, and affordable food, the opportunity to work there, to take cooking workshops... I don't think you can find anything more complete! And the ladies who run the shop are super friendly too!
