06/08/2026: Great experience at this restaurant in Vieux Lyon. The food was amazing and everything was plated beautifully. We ordered the fois gras poêle , poisson du jour and the margret de canard and they were all cooked very well . The service was also really nice and good ambience. Thank you

24/08/2026: It was a very nice experience being there. I loved the atmosphere and the service. Also the food in the morning (we had an omelet a la trouffe) was very tasty (though a bit more oily for me). The salat and the dressing had an amazing acidity that balanced the taste of the egg. Together with the black coffee i must say that I really enjoyed the brunch. After that later i had also a mousse au chocolat. I must say that the mousse was really tasty but i didn't really understand the meaning of whipped cream on the side without the ice cream. Maybe mousse au chocolat is offered like this in France but for me mousse au chocolat should be served with ice cream, and maybe whipped cream on top of ice cream. I will definitely visit it again!

10/09/2026: Oh what a pity we were only in Lyon for one night because we wanted to try everything on the menu!! Food exceptional, excellent value and obviously cooked with love and attention. Service fantastic. Atmosphere perfect and time taken by the owners to explain the menu. We will definitely be back when we return to lovely Lyon. Thank you for a great night and definitely the best meal we’ve had on our travels in France.

09/09/2026: I've lived in Lyon for five years and I hadn't yet had the chance to eat at this Bouchon, which is almost always packed! It was absolutely delicious and a lovely experience. The restaurant is family-run, and everyone is so charming. Even after five years, I'm still discovering Lyonnais dishes I'd never even heard of! Here, you take your time to eat, to chat with your neighbors and the staff, so if you're in a hurry, this isn't the place for you! It was such a wonderful evening, go for it!!

12/06/2026: The food was delicious, and the portions were very generous. The food at Restaurant Café du Soleil was generally very good, and the menu was quite comprehensive. However, the portions were truly enormous, much larger than I expected. One person ordering just one dish would be quite full, and might even be unable to finish. The prices didn't seem cheap, but considering the portions, it was understandable. I suggest not ordering too much; if you don't have a big appetite, you can share with a few people, or order less.

12/06/2026: We had a very good meal; the portions were generous and everything was served quickly. For starters, a special mention goes to the eggs meurette and the Lyonnaise salad, which were both excellent. For our main course, we had quenelles, which were plentiful and very well prepared. A special mention for the praline tart, which was simply superb—in short, I highly recommend it and don't hesitate to make a reservation.

30/08/2026: Very disappointing, especially for regular customers. We've been to this restaurant several times and had never had a problem until now. This time, a misunderstanding started with a simple joke, which the owner clearly didn't understand. We explained to him clearly that we were joking and that our comment wasn't meant to be malicious. Despite our explanations, instead of moving on, he kept pushing the issue, unnecessarily escalating the situation, even resorting to insulting language. We can understand that a joke might not be appreciated, but when customers explain that they were just joking, the least one can do is let it go and remain calm. As regular customers, we are particularly disappointed by this attitude. Respect should be a two-way street. For our part, this experience has definitively changed our opinion of this establishment, and we will not be returning.
