27/01/2026: I highly recommend it. It's a pleasant place with excellent home-cooked food. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the service is excellent. It's a great place to spend a relaxing evening. It's not touristy, but has a genuine French character and reasonable prices. And they have a great selection of background music. I've got this place in mind and will definitely be coming back.

We found a truly beautiful and welcoming place, but above all, the host was friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and very hospitable. We enjoyed exceptional wines and delicious dishes! 03/07/2025: A great place to stay in Croix-Rousse! The setting is warm, with a typical Lyon bistro atmosphere, friendly but not noisy. The dishes are generous, well-presented, and delicious—special mention goes to the tartare and daily specials, which are often original and well-executed. The service is friendly and efficient, even during busy periods. One small drawback: the prices are a little high for some dishes, but the quality is there. A great discovery for a meal with friends or as a couple!

12/06/2025: What a wonderful bistro. We didn’t book but managed to get an early table as walk in’s (do book). The food was simply excellent and clearly cooked by chefs who really knew how to treat the beautiful local produce. We wished we were staying longer as we no doubt would have eaten here many times. Also the wine list is excellent and our set menu (with lots of choice) was great value.

26/01/2026: Our first time at this traditional Lyonnais bistro: we'd heard about it, so we decided to try it out. There were six of us, already quite cramped at our table. However, the waiters and the owner added two more people. We understand having to share a table, but we would have appreciated being informed about this when we made our reservation. The appetizers were just okay: only a few were to our liking. The main courses were also just okay. Having eaten traditional quenelles, we didn't finish these (3 out of 6 dishes). For dessert, the compote was really poorly made, but the crème caramel was quite good. We wondered if it was simply a matter of taste, but considering how many bouchons we've been to, we came to that conclusion. In terms of atmosphere, we were a little intimidated by the owner's enthusiasm, but we got caught up in it. The missing stars for atmosphere are due to a waiter who was a bit too heavy-handed with his jokes. Perhaps it was just a coincidence: I would be delighted to try again if you assure us it was simply a matter of chance. Thank you very much.

26/01/2026: A step back in time, a very friendly waitstaff, everything we love on the plate, and a wonderfully retro atmosphere and decor! I highly recommend this place, which is rich in every way.

The menu is effective, without being over the top. The food is good, and the dishes are beautifully presented. A place we recommend without hesitation, and we'll be happy to return!
