02/01/2025: Really nice place, cozy atmosphere and fair prices. The food was really great, a great Lyonnais bouchon place. The set menu was really delicious. Definitely a great Lyonnais restaurant to try if you are in Lyon.

31/12/2024: I live in the United States, and my little brother lives in Lyon. During my visit after several years of absence in France, one of my wishes was to eat in a Lyonnais cork. My brother managed to get a reservation for 14 people. We were warmly welcomed. The food was delicious, and the service impeccable. Our children and teenagers also loved it. I recommend this restaurant 100%!

25/11/2025: Absolutely delicious. The tuna steak was flavorful, and the cod fritters were divine. Their profiteroles are excellent for dessert. It's beautiful, it's delicious, and the service is elegant. I love it!

20/04/2026: If the restaurant was overbooked, the stress of those who seemed to be in charge was evident in their rather curt responses. This is understandable, but it's something that could be improved. The food is good, and the location on Cours Lafayette near La Part-Dieu is ideal. Go without hesitation.

19/04/2026: We went to dinner at Bar des Amis. The meal was very good and the staff very friendly. The only downside was that it was very noisy.

16/12/2025: Tasty and creative dishes, a wide selection of both the à la carte and daily menus; a good selection of wines. I particularly appreciated the care taken in preparing the vegan dish with grilled vegetables and bean puree.

I was already familiar with this restaurant, which has a very good reputation for being a classic Lyonnais bouchon... and now I can say that its reputation is well-deserved. I highly recommend it.

I tried ordering a takeaway meal to eat the best possible food (quality of ingredients and preparation) during my train journey, and a colleague recommended La Réserve. To my great surprise, when I asked them by phone if it was possible to order a takeaway meal around 5 pm, they replied, "Yes, of course! I'll send you our latest menu and prepare whatever you'd like as close as possible to your departure time so you can eat it hot 🥰🙏." The result was delicious, and the service was top-notch. They even lent me a real fork, trusting me to return it. 💖. I'm very particular about food quality, and this was truly amazing. Thank you so much!!

08/03/2026: Wonderful! The waiters were very attentive and helpful, very friendly. And the food was spectacular!! Everything we ordered was exquisite! The quality was evident, and it was prepared with care and presented beautifully. The dining room is lovely and very peaceful. It's true that we went at night and the views weren't as impressive; I imagine they're much better during the day. The best restaurant we ate at in Lyon! It might be a bit more expensive than the set menus, but it's worth it. I especially recommend it for lunch, because the portions might be too large for dinner... I loved it!

13/04/2026: The quintessential Lyonnais bistro, with its decor, ambiance, and quality of food. You'll be pleasantly surprised by this restaurant, which, despite the messages on the front door, genuinely wants to welcome you. I recommend all the dishes, but the desserts are a bit too basic. Don't forget to pet the owner, who's often perched above the entrance cabinet.
