19/01/2026: What a pleasure to eat in such a typical and authentic place! A true Lyonnais bouchon with all the decor and tradition! We had the bone marrow and eggs meurette, very good, though not quite hot enough for my taste. Then the black pudding with apples and the pork tenderloin with hazelnut and chestnut sauce, both absolutely delicious, accompanied by a proper gratin dauphinois! And for dessert, the traditional, homemade praline tart!
I highly recommend it! Thank you and keep up the good work! You deserve to be known by all tourists 😉

And I wouldn't call it an inclusive place when you see who can afford to have a drink on that terrace. But hey, long live gentrification, I suppose...

27/11/2025: I had a very good lunch today at this lovely establishment.
The decor is very pleasant and the service was quick and friendly.
My daily special was a beautiful chicken leg with a very good sauce, accompanied by potatoes and a delicious green vegetable purée.
For dessert, I had a delicious sneaker tart, rich in caramel and pecans, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
The bill was very reasonable, and I highly recommend it!

04/01/2026: The atmosphere was lovely, the place had a lot of charm (with statues of the Virgin Mary, which I loved). The food was both excellent and plentiful. The waiter was very friendly. Even the dog was adorable. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

23/08/2024: I signed up in May to get here in August. The dishes are served very beautifully, but their taste is ordinary, I can’t say that it was very tasty. Looks a lot like an overly promoted place.

24/01/2026: Disappointed by my experience at Brasserie de l’Est, especially considering the reputation of the Bocuse establishment. The service was pleasant but somewhat erratic, with long waits and some oversights. As for the food, the dishes were decent but below expectations: the flank steak was tough and the chicken was too pink. Overall, it was still acceptable, but the standard doesn't match that of a true institution. Improvements are needed.
24/01/2026: We were very disappointed by the quality of some of the dishes. The service was slow. Most importantly, the manager (who was drunk) was arrogant when we complained. This should be reported!
