28/07/2026: During our visits to Lyon, Le Canut et Les Gones is always a reliable choice. This time, we stopped there for lunch while passing through – and it was, as always, excellent. The menu may seem small at first glance, but it offers everything we need as a family. Perhaps that's why all the dishes are so delicious. The pleasant atmosphere and attentive service guarantee our return.

22/07/2026: This bouchon is a gem, THE Lyon bouchon, in short! Authentic bouchon dishes cooked to perfection—just bravo for mastering these classic Lyonnais dishes so well! I was particularly impressed by the incredibly professional service, delivered with a great sense of humor: I'll never forget that with the salad, you're never sick! The best!

21/07/2026: A traditional Lyonnais bistro with home-style cooking; you can taste all the love the chef puts into his dishes. Special mention goes to the exceptional pâté en croûte and the original wine list, particularly its selection of Jura wines. Highly recommended!

29/07/2026: Located in Old Lyon, this restaurant offers excellent service. The portions are generous, but we were aware of that beforehand. The price is very reasonable. The hot dishes were very good, but the salads were less impressive, which was a shame.

25/07/2026: We ate here with friends while traveling to the area for a business conference, and it was a good experience overall. The restaurant is well decorated and located in a touristy part of Vieux Lyon. The food was okay. Over the course of the two weeks I spent in Lyon, I ate at a few bouchons, and I didn't think the food here quite measured up to some of the others, but it was still enjoyable for what it was. It's a great location to sit outside, watch people pass by, and have a decent meal. The servers were lovely and engaging. As I mentioned, the location and atmosphere were probably the highlights of the experience.

The fries were pretty good, the meat was decent but not very flavorful, the pea soup was quite good (as was the chocolate raspberry fondant), but the avocado and shrimp dish was questionable and the rosé wine jug clearly hadn't been washed...

05/05/2026: Last Saturday, for our last evening of vacation in Lyon, we simply had to end with dinner at a traditional Lyonnais restaurant. We ordered savory crêpes and shared a sweet one. What can I say? It was delicious. A big thank you to the friendly waiters who provided excellent service, both warm and professional.

11/07/2026: Looking for an authentic Lyonnais bistro near the town hall, we found just what we were looking for, a stone's throw from the main tourist area. Typical, high-quality Lyonnais cuisine at an unbeatable price (€33 for a starter, main course, and dessert). The welcome was warm and friendly. A truly excellent place!

05/07/2026: A very friendly and welcoming place with a great atmosphere. We had the Peach Dream cocktail (it was excellent) and a delicious platter of traditional French dishes. Everything was excellent. I have wonderful memories of it. This place will always stay in my memory because it's where I had my date with the woman who makes my heart beat faster, so Wanderlust will always hold a special place in my heart. I will definitely be back.

Every bite is a delight, and you can go there in style because the portions are generous. As for the wines: an intelligent selection, full of passion and heart, where even the most discerning palate will find something to enjoy. A genuine sense of hospitality and conviviality, always maintaining just the right distance. As long as places like this exist, we can keep our faith in humanity 😉
