15/06/2026: I was following Google maps directions to find the restaurant, I stopped there to check if I artived,and some of the staff were there outside, like 4 or 5 of them, one of them started looking at me even before I head towards the door, when I got closee to the entrance he intercepted me, I told him "Are you open?" (It was 19h45-20h and they were surely open, but I asked because the way they were standing was unprofessional and weird), so he said "No", then started mumbling saying Yes, then No again, his attitude was totally unprofessional, then he said :"You came to eat?" (Continuing his mocking attitude), so I left the place continuing to the next one : Bouchon Comptoir Brunet, who acted in a different manner but still the same outcome : not being able to eat there despite many empty tables, and for that I'll write what happened in their maps page. I got the impression that both restaurants didn't want to receive me, I was forced to assume that this is because I look from an ethnicity they don't like.

01/06/2026: Excellent food, the head cheese salad was superb... Sweetbreads!!!! Mmmmmm Half a Saint Marcellin cheese... and to finish, prunes. Very friendly and attentive service. Go without hesitation... just steps from the Cordeliers... a must!!!

18/05/2026: We had a truly memorable time at L'Âne Rouge in Lyon! Honestly, everything came together for a perfect evening. The food was absolutely delicious. On stage, the magician and the comedian were absolutely extraordinary. We were dazzled and laughed so much! Special mention to the owners for their warm welcome, and a huge thank you to Sonia for her fantastic service—always smiling, attentive, and full of energy from beginning to end! 24/05/2026: Today, I'm not giving my opinion on the restaurant itself, but on the exceptionally kind staff. My uncle, an elderly man, had been lost since morning. We found him completely disoriented and dehydrated in front of this restaurant. They didn't hesitate to help us, giving us water, a bottle of something, and sugar free of charge, and even came back to check on us and ask if we needed anything while waiting for the ambulance. Unfortunately, I haven't eaten there yet, but it looks delicious, and it's made me want to go, if only to return the favor. A thousand thanks again for this kindness!

23/05/2026: So, I just needed to use the restroom because I was in the park next door (being a woman, I have needs), and unfortunately, the park's restrooms were out of order. I politely asked to use the restroom and offered to buy a drink in return. I was treated incredibly rudely: "No, we're not a bar, you have an electric scooter, it's not possible" (it was 7 pm, no one was there yet, it wasn't bothering anyone)! They were so dishonest! The service was terrible! I would never go there again. They were completely unhelpful.

26/04/2026: The experience started well, but was unfortunately ruined when it came to dessert: 45 minutes after the main course was cleared, there was still no dessert. A shame. We asked for a discount on the menu. €14 was deducted from the final bill. While appreciated, the gesture was symbolic and insignificant compared to the overall inconvenience. This made the whole experience disappointing.

19/04/2026: I have many food allergies, and going to restaurants can sometimes be complicated. If this is the case for you, you should know that the staff are very attentive and friendly. They welcomed me and immediately told me which dishes I could eat and which ones could be adapted! I felt confident and was able to enjoy my meal; the food was delicious! A very pleasant experience, thank you so much.

05/06/2026: I stopped by on a whim, drawn in by a tempting set menu (starter, main course, dessert) at a reasonable price, and… I was in heaven! The dishes were exquisite (yum, the chilled carrot and mustard soup starter…) and the service was attentive. The atmosphere isn't boisterous (despite the name), but it's delicious and creative. Understated and calm. Perfect for one person, two, three, or four… if you want to be able to hear each other and have a conversation. It's also surprisingly light, a world away from the repetitive, pork-laden bistros that even the most discerning foodie eventually tires of.

10/06/2026: How can I put it... the service is a disaster... it's like they couldn't care less about being there... And the meat is inedible... This place is going downhill...

09/06/2026: The restaurant had a great atmosphere, but unfortunately the food wasn't good quality. A chicken Milanese cutlet that was re-prepared and defrosted cost €26. The same went for the burger. I won't be back.
