15/04/2026: This is rock bottom! It can't last at this rate. Catastrophic service, mediocre food, cold plates... and to top it all off, they insist on cash payment, supposedly due to a problem with the card reader. I asked, "Since when?" The answer was "since yesterday." So why weren't we informed about this when we made our reservation or when we arrived?! A complete rip-off! Another one that's going to close down!!

14/03/2026: Excellent cuisine with sophisticated and flavorful dishes. You can taste the chef's creativity and the quality of the ingredients. A delight every time! Highly recommended!

28/08/2026: Visited here for a drink. Sat at table outside and waited and waited for service. We were totally ignored and after waiting for 15 minutes we left. They were not busy at all.

26/08/2026: Shameful! Waiting patiently on the terrace for 20 minutes! Well, he wouldn't take the order and doesn't like gay people.

20/09/2026: There was no choice of dishes. Nothing for children. It wasn't very busy, yet we had to ask the waiter three times for a carafe of water. The country salad had too many croutons that were too big, and it wasn't worth the price. The dish my friend ordered wasn't available at the very beginning of service. The waiter came back to offer him another meat, which he accepted, and then they served him a different one on his plate. The value for money was terrible. For €25, we didn't enjoy ourselves at all. You have to pay at the table; if you go into the restaurant, you're turned away. In short, we definitely don't recommend it.

17/09/2026: Arriving late in Autun, we chose this restaurant without checking the reviews, and we're so glad we did because we had a wonderful meal and the welcome was very friendly. The beef bourguignon simmered like homemade beef, and the andouillette sausage was delicious! Excellent home cooking and great value for money! We were also warmly welcomed with our little dog. Thank you!

01/05/2026: We only dined at the restaurant, which was plentiful and very good. One small issue: some of the frogs' legs weren't cooked enough. The service was excellent, and the staff were pleasant. The terrace offers a lovely view. For a full meal, including aperitifs, wine, and dessert, expect to pay around sixty euros per person. A small but very sincere "Bravo!"

30/09/2026: We came to share a crepe and a drink on the terrace, thinking we'd have a nice little time. What a mistake! Our table hadn't been cleared, so we decided to sit at a table for six. We ordered, but one drink was missing. Never mind... We asked for the coffee. The service started, but one table was cleaned, the others weren't. Perhaps there was an option to clean all three? 🤔 Our crepe orders arrived, incomplete... We asked for the missing one, and we had the privilege of having a waitress who claimed to have already served it... The service was deplorable, and the response we received was, "Ask the manager to hire more staff, we're just waiting for that!" Fine, but the poor welcome, the incomplete order, the lack of friendliness, and the uncleaned tables (optional) are not the manager's fault, but rather the fault of the employees providing the service... Deplorable!

The kitchen staff seemed to work tirelessly and with great dedication, but I was particularly uncomfortable seeing the owner speak to them disrespectfully. While the quality of the service or the food may vary, the way employees are treated is also part of the overall customer experience. I hope things can improve in this regard, as those who work in the kitchen also deserve respect and consideration. Thank you for your response. However, it doesn't really address what I observed and reported in my initial message. I want to clarify that I am simply a customer and don't claim to know the internal workings of your establishment. However, I did witness certain situations and I also have concrete information regarding your behavior towards the kitchen staff. These elements raise, in my view, serious questions and may, in particular, give the impression that certain attitudes or behaviors are contributing to pushing members of the kitchen staff toward resignation. I do not claim to know your intentions, and therefore I do not frame this as an accusation, but as an observation based on what I have witnessed and the information available to me. I therefore stand by my opinion, as your response does not appear to address the facts I have personally observed.

14/09/2026: Wir haben zwei Wochen lang Frankreich bereist, aber dieses Essen verdient nicht einmal den Namen „Essen“. Das ist eher Brei. Sea bream in Champagne sauce, hahaha. Dem Küchenchef sollte man sein Diplom durch den Häcksler jagen. The service item is subject to change. If there is another objective Kritiker angemerkt haben, ist das Personal ebenso incompetent wie unprofessional. Wenn Sie gut essen wollen, meiden Sie diesen Ort. ------------------------------ We spent two weeks traveling around France, but this food doesn't even deserve the name "food." It's more like mush. Sea bream with champagne sauce, hahaha. The chef should have his diploma revoked. The vegetables they served certainly looked like they were. As other objective reviewers have noted, the staff is equally incompetent and unprofessional. If you want a good meal, avoid this place.

22/02/2026: We had a very bad experience at this restaurant, as the manager/owner spoke very rudely to her kitchen staff and the waitress. We felt uncomfortable and couldn't enjoy our meal together. We understand that the restaurant was full and that this caused stress, but the management needs to be reviewed. We waited an hour before being served, and what's more, the vacherin was served frozen, making it inedible.

07/06/2026: I received a terrible welcome today. I arrived at 2:40 PM for a drink. I went in and asked the waitress if we could have a seat. She said yes, she'd come and take my order. Then I heard a voice from another room, which I never saw (facing the customer is difficult), speaking very loudly, saying no, no, no, we're not taking anyone. The restaurant closes at 3:30 PM. It took 50 minutes for a drink; we would have left well before closing time. Frankly, the welcome was extremely unpleasant. What would be helpful, madam, for next time is to introduce yourself and have the decency to come and speak to the customer.

07/10/2026: Great atmosphere, friendly and courteous staff, good food, and the fact that the buffet includes vegetables is a great thing! We'll definitely be back!
