19/08/2026: We came on August 19th at 5 PM. The saleswoman was incredibly unpleasant and should really consider a different career. What a strange way to speak to customers! We really felt like we were bothering her. First time here and it will be the last. It's a shame because the products are good.

18/08/2026: Breakfast eaten. Not sure if I received the nasturtiums I ordered. Clean bakery.

04/06/2026: If it hadn't smelled so much mold from the bathroom, this would have been an ok overnight stay, albeit too expensive for what you pay for. The food in the restaurant is good. The breakfast was unfortunately very sparse and the staff had no interest in refilling it. 1 out of 5 stars unfortunately

08/05/2026: Rooms are slightly dated but clean and quiet. The highlight is the staff…the woman working there is incredible, she speaks multiple languages and is the friendliest person I have met. The location is perfect for people on road trips as it is easy of the highway and back on. Price is great for what you get and the FOOD was incredible!!!!

06/03/2026: A warm and friendly welcome in a verdant setting, the meals are good, and the various overnight packages are a bonus. The rooms are clean and quiet, the bedding is comfortable, but they could use a fresh coat of paint. In short, we'll be back! 😊

18/07/2026: A very attentive waitress. The food was good, but the portions were a bit small (lasagna). The location is very pleasant.

07/06/2026: Good French restaurant. Lovely terrace, welcoming waiters. We had a pleasant lunch. The dishes were delicious, although the portions were a little small.

07/07/2026: The owner and staff are lovely, warm, and attentive. And above all, the food is excellent, of impeccable quality, at a reasonable price. I highly recommend it.

14/08/2026: Fantastic restaurant right in the old center of Chalon-sur-Saône, had a fantastic meal, also great with children, and the price-quality ratio is almost too good to be true. We will definitely be back next year 👌🏻

08/08/2026: Disappointed. We came with friends to enjoy the lovely location on the cathedral square. We were looking forward to dinner… The salad had no dressing and no flavor… As for dessert, no ice cream in this heat, supposedly because it takes too long… but a selection of cakes not suited to summer. The waiter was friendly, but we won't be back…

03/06/2026: The hotel is alright, but my rating reflects the quality/price ratio for a 3-star hotel in a small town. The hotel is well-located, with a nice restaurant, but a bit pricey compared to what you can find in Monceaux. The service was average (no ATM for late-night needs). As for the room, a huge disappointment. When booking, there's no mention of whether some rooms have air conditioning and others don't. For €90: - No air conditioning (just a fan...) - Tiny bathroom - No power outlet near the bed or desk for working. The only outlet is under the radiator, practically on the floor (handy for a spare fan...). They offer you an extension cord to cross the room... very stylish. This hotel doesn't justify its price and deserves a 2-star rating, not 3.

30/05/2026: Our superior room was very nice specially with aircon BUT very strange that a double room with two occupants only had one small towel and one large towel! Dinner was ok, nothing special and overpriced and understaffed! Breakfast was ok but no croissants as we got there “late” Free car park

09/08/2026: Very attentive service, quick service, very friendly, good food, most of the time. We were there for a week with a large group. I don't like poached eggs, and I missed having ice cream for dessert. I think the lamps in the restaurant are completely inappropriate; the shape and color are awful and don't fit the room at all. A few chandeliers, even a bit kitschy, would significantly improve the ambiance.

07/08/2026: I can only give one star because, despite Google showing it as open, it was actually closed. What a shame... We also tried to reserve by email... no response.

24/05/2026: What a fantastic find! We had a family room with a lake view. The bathroom was very spacious, and the toilet was in a separate area. The beds were wonderful! We slept very well. The area in front of the room was perfect for that lovely evening. The grounds are well-maintained and truly beautiful, especially with a dog. We were able to pick up the key at the restaurant across the street. The breakfast for €10 per person was good, and we had the perfect start to our vacation day! Thank you so much for the warm welcome! We would love to stop by again when we're passing through!

27/04/2026: Excellent welcome, comfortable and quiet room. I had a truly enjoyable 3-week stay! The added bonus was the garden furniture outside the room, perfect for enjoying the sun!

25/07/2026: A whole table of young people (besides me), of all ages and rather noisy, was greeted with smiles and kindness on a Sunday after the organic market (which is held just across the street, in front of a magnificent Romanesque church). The (typically Swiss) friendliness of the owners, the quality of the food and drinks, and the beauty of the village and surrounding landscape make it well worth the trip. There are some lovely walks to do afterwards: Mont St-Romain, Brancion, etc.

21/06/2026: Having known this place for many years, I can only offer a comparison of the different meals I've had at this establishment, which has seen better days. My latest disappointing experience: The wait staff were very friendly but constantly running around, despite the terrace being two-thirds full. The fried food was perfectly sized but very dry; beware of the pre-cooked bits. The frogs' legs in cream sauce were swimming in flavorless, boxed cream. The fries were McCain's (Fry 'n Dip) industrial fries. Couldn't they put in a little more effort? The ice cream sundae was basic, the ice cream was entry-level. The passion for the craft is gone. What a shame... just another one gone. Soon there won't be any reason to go to a restaurant. Sincerely, R. Babou

21/06/2026: Mixed feelings... the meal was delicious, the servers very friendly, but the wait was far too long... We arrived at 7:45 pm and left at 11 pm??? An hour's wait between courses... I think there might have been a problem in the kitchen, but in that case, they should simply inform the customers. Otherwise, everything was great.

30/08/2026: During our anniversary weekend in Anzy-le-Duc, we thoroughly enjoyed the inn. The welcome was very warm and the food excellent, especially the cooked ham. Thank you.

14/08/2026: A small set menu (main course and dessert) was delicious and beautifully presented. The terrace is wonderful with a magnificent view of the church. The service was very friendly and attentive, and card payment was no problem.
