03/12/2024: It is the best restaurant on rue de Strasbourg in Chalon. Very warm welcome, inexpensive and copious menu, beautiful menu of seasonal products, impeccable service and very good gourmet cuisine, lots of ideas researched by chef Jérôme. Every time I come from Lyon to see my family I stop at JULES to enjoy a good family meal. I recommend this quality restaurant.

18/06/2024: Geweldige lunch! Vriendelijke, efficiënte bediening. Fijne sfeer. Lekker ongedwongen. Groot aantal tafeltjes binnen en buiten (schaduw), vast menu voor 16 euro, inclusief wijn, kaas en koffie. Maar wees op tijd: de locals weten het restaurant goed te vinden. En terecht!

The service is professional and welcoming. We are never disappointed! Special mention for yesterday’s dessert, pear cinnamon cream and vanilla mousse, a treat for the taste buds and the eyes!

On the reception side, great hosts, incredibly kind and caring. Beautiful people who take the time with their customers. Lots of lovely touches 😉 thank you to them for the surprises for our 39 years of marriage. The spa and the rooms perfect! Perfect breakfast too. Everything was there and always with fresh, homemade products. We'll definitely come back, if only to say hello and have a drink on the terrace. 19/08/2024: We spent a pleasant night in a very nice room with a large, ultra-comfortable bed. Ideal for taking a break during your vacation journeys. I recommend breakfast in the morning, ideal for getting off to a good start. Thanks to Frederic for his welcome and his kindness

01/12/2024: We returned there this Sunday, December 1st, as a family, and I can only express satisfaction and admiration! Satisfaction, because the dishes chosen are copious, and extremely good, tasty, admiration at the work force and the sympathy of the owner who works alone, with admirable efficiency, and always with a smile, a good word! If people dare to criticize, they can only be idle and incapable people accustomed to profiting from the work of others without doing anything... Old-fashioned restaurant, you could believe yourself in a real Lyonnais cork, ideal for people who take the time to live, and have their feet on the ground, respect the work of others, of those who work a lot, as it is the case here. If you are matuvus who are as boastful as they are stupid and ignorant, don't go there, stay at home..., and fry yourself an egg if you are able! There is no point in giving dismal reviews to quality restaurants that do their utmost to satisfy customers, it's as small as their authors. Here, the owner is really competent and efficient, the food is very good, the prices very reasonable. Very good, we will go back.

18/09/2024: A gourmet restaurant worthy of its stars. The dishes are excellent in harmony with the wines of the region. Excellent wines from the Pouilly and Macon regions. The service is a little distant but very professional, the attention to detail is present. A very beautiful moment in the heart of the Fuisse village.
