Not a dive bar at all, 👌 a proper establishment, a real restaurant where it's a pleasure to stop and which truly deserves 5 stars, if only for the welcome and the food. No time for the local wines (which we know very well, unfortunately, but next time on our four-wheel drive, a Givry will be welcome...) but a tasty craft beer, Charolais beef worthy of the region, and a very friendly welcome. The owners and service were top-notch. A very pleasant surprise for the three of us, which we will definitely repeat. And vintage cars galore... what a region for April! Thank you for everything, so rare and sincere in the culinary world. A bright hope for the warmer days ahead...

30/03/2026: First time at this restaurant. A very pleasant surprise! The appetizer buffet was plentiful and varied. The main course was an excellent ribeye steak, and the dessert buffet was more than adequate. In conclusion, a must-try if you're in the area. Reservations are recommended. 👍👍

27/04/2026: A bit disappointed. It's like a cross between a Flunch and a Courtepaille restaurant. The dining room is large but very noisy. The food is what it is: meat, but nothing original. The prices are astronomical in my opinion, especially for lunch. It's ideal for banquets or a group business lunch; otherwise, it's best avoided. The service is friendly but very slow, even though the dining room was almost empty. And seeing the cooks come out to serve is strange. For vegetarians, it's very basic: vegetables picked here and there as side dishes, but without any dietary guidelines or protein/vegetable mix. Access is quick, the parking lot is huge, and there are charging stations for electric vehicles.

28/03/2026: The Château de Fretoy was an unforgettable discovery for our Swiss and Dutch families who came to reunite and stay for four wonderful days. The Château, its grounds, its outbuildings, and our two hosts, as well as their excellent advice on local chefs to hire, left nothing to be desired; we highly recommend this place.

A magnificent place, decorated with exquisite taste, entirely run by a passionate family. The portions are very generous, with beautifully presented dishes worthy of a fine restaurant. Everything is homemade, using fresh and meticulously selected ingredients, which is clearly reflected in the exceptional quality of the food. We had the pleasure of enjoying the Easter menu as a family: a convivial moment, enhanced by delicious food and a warm, attentive welcome. A place I highly recommend!

21/03/2026: A must-stay! What a welcome! The room was spacious, well-appointed, and had everything you could need. Bathrobe, slippers, welcome tray... very clean and tastefully decorated. Accessible by elevator. A generous breakfast. The restaurant... EXCELLENT! Everything was made with fresh ingredients and served with a smile. The spa... total relaxation, private with products available. Free parking opposite the hotel. All this in a peaceful village. Total relaxation... I highly recommend it for a wonderful getaway.
