The card is renewed often. The staff is gracious and the dishes are typical of the region. A very nice list of desserts and very pleasant tasting of local wines.
This year, disappointed with the makeover of the building... Where is my Mâconnaise house with its grand staircase and gallery??
The warmth of the place is lost in the new rooms that open. Servers get lost in all these shared tables.
The water jugs look really sad with all these limescale stains.
I was a fan of this restaurant but the Mâconnaise soul is no longer there... Really a shame...

21/03/2024: A very very good address. The welcome is truly most friendly. The site, near Cluny and the Col des Enceints, is very pleasant and bucolic. The food is excellent and we appreciate that everything served is homemade, including bread. In summer, outdoor terrace. I highly recommend this place.

24/03/2024: Excellent cuisine a stone's throw from Chalon sur Saone. The service is impeccable and the desserts sumptuous. It seems that the chef studied pastry in the great hotels of the south of France, and it shows; I recommend the revisited tiramisu with red fruits…
Just a small downside about the proximity of the tables which hinders conversation but apart from that it's a superb discovery

And I can only highly recommend this address for the charm, friendliness, cleanliness and comfort of the rooms. Cecile's children are at the top, welcome, service, delicious meals cooked at home with passion and generosity. Breakfast is naturally just as careful as the rest! Thank you to both of you for this superb place nestled in green and sublime nature, and to Claudine for her naturalness and her humor. If I come back, I will come back!

The setting is sober and classy.

21/03/2024: Disappointed by the cuisine and the dishes but to each their own. I'm still quite surprised by the ratings for this restaurant. Lack of seasoning, snails bought ready-made (cooked in 10 minutes, connoisseurs will understand), andouillette of poor quality (smell and taste), vegetables as an uninteresting side dish. Strange wine list: propose the villa of angels by Jeff Carrel in this region.... No comments
