14/06/2026: What can I say? Oh yes... everything is perfect! Let's start with the warm welcome, from the initial phone reservation to the moment we arrived at the restaurant. Furthermore, we found a tastefully decorated, shaded terrace and tastefully renovated dining rooms. The menu showcases local produce, as does the wine list, which includes wines from the Domaine des Arbillons. The dishes are beautifully presented, served on tables in the tradition of "real" French dining, with white tablecloths and napkins. A feast for the eyes and the palate! We highly recommend this excellent restaurant and will definitely be back.

17/05/2026: This is the kind of restaurant where you feel at ease as soon as you walk in, and the hostess immediately welcomes you like a friend. It's certainly not a Michelin-starred restaurant, but it offers a menu and appetizers that will awaken your taste buds without being overpowering. The entire cuisine, right down to the sauces, is made with love and fresh, local ingredients. Thank you for this wonderful discovery.

Not a dive bar at all, 👌 a proper establishment, a real restaurant where it's a pleasure to stop and which truly deserves 5 stars, if only for the welcome and the food. No time for the local wines (which we know very well, unfortunately, but next time on our four-wheel drive, a Givry will be welcome...) but a tasty craft beer, Charolais beef worthy of the region, and a very friendly welcome. The owners and service were top-notch. A very pleasant surprise for the three of us, which we will definitely repeat. And vintage cars galore... what a region for April! Thank you for everything, so rare and sincere in the culinary world. A bright hope for the warmer days ahead...

04/06/2026: As a photographer, I have just returned from capturing a beautiful wedding at Chateau de Fretoy. And what a wonderful location this is. The surroundings and the location itself exude a Burgundian atmosphere. From the moment you arrive, you know you are in for a treat. The entire grounds are well-maintained; there is a tennis court, swimming pool, and pétanque court for relaxing with your guests. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and tidy. The owners stay in the background during the wedding but are very approachable, as are the staff and third parties such as the caterer, florist, saxophone, and pizza truck. From both an aesthetic perspective and a focus on the guests, this location is highly recommended!

24/05/2026: The beauty of the property speaks for itself. What really stands out is how great Renche and Geert are as hosts. They do everything they can to make sure your event is exactly as you want it to be. They were communicative, kind, and informative. The property is absolutely beautiful and is clearly well taken care of. Our wedding was everything we could have wished, and guests told us it was a once in a lifetime experience. If you’re like me, and booked/want to book this venue without seeing it in person first, DO IT! The property is like something out of a fairytale. None of this could have been possible without Renche and Geert’s guidance. Their cleaning staff and bartender were very hard workers, and we were very pleased with the outcome. We hope to come back for our anniversary in the future. I would recommend this property and Renche and Geert 100000 times over.
