The food is excellent, the ingredients are fresh and well-prepared, and the owner is very friendly and professional – we're never disappointed. I highly recommend this place; the price is really reasonable. We had a set menu (starter/main/dessert) for €25 per person – no complaints whatsoever.

17/09/2026: We were very happy to find this restaurant open on Wednesday evening. But more to our surprise their food was amazing. Outstanding taste, styling of the meals and good proportions. You can see and taste the chef cooks with love and passion. Thank you for our delicious meal.

30/06/2026: What a nice little restaurant. Enjoyed eating outside on the terrace with Ellen, Jan, Rim, and Karin. The food was amazing. A nice glass of wine to go with it. The price-quality ratio is good and the service is friendly. All in all, a nice restaurant.

20/06/2026: We stayed for one night while passing through. What a lovely spot, we would love to stay longer. Wonderful bed, and a lovely breakfast in the garden in the morning. In a week we will be back in the Morvan and we will definitely come for dinner one evening. Ellen is known for her cooking skills. Can't wait.

13/06/2026: We had a delicious meal here in a beautiful, peaceful garden. The atmosphere is intimate, cozy, and very welcoming. We had the three-course menu, where you can choose from two starters and two main courses. One delicious dessert. All dishes were refined in flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with care. The price-quality ratio is excellent; you don't often come across so much quality for such a fair price. Highly recommended for anyone who loves good food in an atmospheric setting!

29/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! We had a fantastic meal. The food was home-style, generous, and made with excellent farm-fresh ingredients. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was delicious: terrine, salad, chicken in cream sauce and dauphinoise potatoes, cheese, and dessert. The €34 set menu was very reasonable for such a delicious meal. The portions were truly generous, and the flavors of traditional cooking were just what we love. The welcome was warm and the setting pleasant. An authentic farm where the food is excellent. We will gladly return.

08/10/2026: A very bad experience at L’Ombelle. The food was truly awful and, in my opinion, far below the standards of the roadside restaurants I frequent daily. The only positive point was the waitress, who was very friendly and pleasant. On the other hand, I felt very uncomfortable with the owner's attitude; she spoke very loudly and some of her comments struck me as racist. As for the cook, he didn't even greet the customers. Aside from the waitress's kindness, I unfortunately didn't enjoy anything about my visit to this establishment. I won't be going back.

11/09/2026: A truck stop discovered while passing through the region. A warm welcome and excellent service, and a superb meal with several different main course options, including a delicious andouillette gratin! A quality establishment!

05/10/2026: Discovered this inn during a Jeep tour. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Great atmosphere and excellent meal. Everything was fresh. Very good value for money, all in a very pleasant setting. A place to discover and enjoy without moderation.

05/09/2026: The food is excellent, everything is homemade, and you can really taste the difference. The ingredients are high-quality, the flavors are spot on, and considering all that, the lunch menu is more than reasonable. At this price and with this quality, you really shouldn't miss out! The setting is just as pleasant: a magnificent shaded terrace with a beautiful view, all in the peace and quiet of a small village. A real treat! Special mention also goes to the service, impeccable from start to finish: welcoming, warm, and very professional. An address I recommend without hesitation, and one we will definitely be returning to very soon!

23/08/2026: But what can I say? It was wonderful in every way. First of all, the food was excellent: well-prepared, generous portions that transported me to this beautiful region. The service was impeccable, friendly, and attentive. The setting: wow! The price was reasonable considering the quantity of food. In short: come and try it, otherwise you won't know.

18/10/2026: I'm giving you one star because I can't give zero! DON'T order the pizzas, they're frozen and the shrimp were still frozen, it was absolutely disgusting!!! Watery shrimp in the pizza and a crust all marbled with pink?!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS... I hope I don't get sick 🤮? KEEP GOING

12/10/2026: The staff were very friendly, however, the portion sizes need improvement. There was a small amount of fries (frozen) considering the price of the menu, and let's not even mention the dessert (brownie) at €6.50 which was only 4cm x 4cm, frozen and clearly not homemade. Disappointed with the quality of the food.

The dining room is timeless and beautifully showcases the city and its surrounding region. The menu is enticing, and the dishes are divine.
