26/07/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolute highlight in Chagny! The historic ambiance with its open fireplace creates an incredibly cozy atmosphere. We were particularly impressed by the quality of the food – everything was perfectly prepared and served with great care. A big plus: dogs are very welcome. Our four-legged friend received just as warm a welcome as we did, which, unfortunately, isn't always the case. We ate inside and highly recommend it. The atmosphere is unique and makes for a truly special evening. Add to that the very attentive and warm service. Anyone in the area should definitely not miss a visit to Le Grenier à Sel. We'll definitely be back!

05/07/2026: A wonderful experience at this restaurant recommended by our friends; the food was excellent. I had a very generous Caesar salad, and my husband had a foie gras burger, which he thoroughly enjoyed. We'll definitely be back. PS: Reservations are recommended.

20/07/2026: An exceptional stay at the Auberge du Vieux Brancion. The setting, a beautifully restored medieval village, is stunning. As for the gîte, it is very well appointed, elegantly decorated, and the welcome was very friendly.

20/07/2026: Fantastic stay, very friendly hosts. We've known the inn for 30 years. Thankfully, it's open again. The furnishings are brand new and very tasteful. The air conditioning is great. Good dining options include a bistro and a garden area under linden trees. You'll find great pictures of the town everywhere. Highly recommended for time travelers. Actually, one shouldn't recommend such beautiful inns to others... thank you so much for your hospitality! Anett and Sven

25/05/2026: During our stay in the region, we had lunch for two adults with a dog on a Friday for our wedding anniversary. There were two tables, including ours, on this early warm day. The owner, who loves animals, invited me to bring our 4-year-old Belgian Shepherd (BBM) inside rather than leaving her in the car (even though I had taken some precautions). The dining room was bright, decorated simply, with background music. We chose a tasting menu (5 courses) and an à la carte menu. The welcome and service were very warm and friendly; the pace of service was neither too slow nor too fast, just enough time to appreciate what was being served. As for the carefully prepared dishes, described precisely during the service, it was a delight throughout the meal. The portions of the tasting menu are slightly smaller than those of the à la carte menu, which makes it easier to enjoy all the dishes. A good wine list is available, as well as wine by the glass. There are menus for all budgets, from a quick lunch with friends to a more substantial romantic lunch for a couple celebrating a birthday. A very good culinary destination.

You can really taste the care and passion in every plate. The service is also top-notch: a warm welcome, attentive and always smiling staff. The atmosphere is pleasant and friendly, perfect for spending quality time with friends or family. I highly recommend Vic et Lolo to anyone looking for delicious food and a welcoming setting. 06/07/2026: I highly recommend this establishment. We were greeted with a smile and genuine kindness by the manager and her entire team. We had booked a table for our group of 15 cyclists, and the chef prepared a delicious menu using fresh, local ingredients for everyone. 12/05/2026: We booked a table at the Saint-Christophe restaurant for dinner. We were able to try the all-you-can-eat frogs' legs, as well as chicken for those who didn't want it. The service was truly impressive: a single waitress and chef was managing three tables that evening (one for 8, one for 4, and one for 3), and she handled everything with great efficiency, good humor, and friendliness. We even managed to jokingly say "stop" when we were completely full because the portions were so generous, which is very rare. It was our first experience with frogs' legs served with several different sauces and unlimited, which is quite unusual and much appreciated. The setting is also very pleasant. We dined inside, which resembles a true guesthouse: personalized decor, homemade creations, numerous objects and books… It has a lot of charm and a warm atmosphere. We will gladly return; this was a very positive experience.

03/08/2026: Very good restaurant where meat is cooked over an open fire - the steak was delicious. The staff understood gluten intolerance and were able tp tell me what I couldnt eat and there was plenty I could eat. The creme Brulee was exceptionally good.
