04/09/2026: First experience at L’Ambroisie. A very warm welcome, the owner and waitress were very pleasant. The meal was of very high quality with fresh ingredients. Perfect value for money. I would have given it 6 stars. As residents of Vonnas, we have had the opportunity to try the former Auberge and the Château d’Epeyssoles, and your restaurant deserves as many stars as these establishments. I highly recommend it! A big thank you!!!

30/08/2026: A perfect lunch at Cud'Poulot last Friday. Excellent value for money, efficient and friendly service. We had the set menu: eggs meurette with Époisses cheese/snail casserole, the fish of the day (a generous and delicious monkfish tail), and my husband had the chef's burger (hearty and tasty). Special mention for the desserts, which were both beautiful and delicious; my lemon trompe l'oeil was a delight, and my husband is still dreaming about the French toast with sugared almonds. Well done to the entire team, both front and back of house!

06/09/2026: We had a wonderful time at Le Poisson d'Or. The setting is superb, the service was excellent, and every dish was delicious. Special mention goes to our waiter, Roméo, who was very friendly, smiling, and attentive throughout the meal.

04/09/2026: A lovely establishment, a welcome cool shaded terrace in this heatwave, a delightful start: a fresh and beautifully presented gazpacho, a very tasty and original tomato-based starter, and for the main course, a black cod with curry, executed with mastery. For dessert, a floating island, normally served with strawberries, which I don't like at all, was replaced by a scoop of mint sorbet. Everything was delicious, the service perfect and pleasant. A must-try, and I'll definitely be back.

01/09/2026: Very good restaurant set in a beautiful dining room. Good for the kids, they enjoyed their meals. We had a 'formule a midi' which was good value - only criticism would be the choice was sausage (boudin noir) or sausage (andouillette)! They were vindicated though as we ordered one of each and they were both perhaps the best examples of each we'd ever tried. If you're ordering wine, check the blackboard!

10/09/2026: We were three couples at Le Caveau de Verdun and had a truly exceptional evening. The hospitality was wonderful. We especially remember the charming "translation entertainment" for us German-speaking guests. Our host, with his great sense of humor, managed to subtly introduce us to the beautiful French language – delightful and very entertaining! The food was superb: authentic local Burgundy cuisine, absolutely delicious and exactly what we had hoped for on such an evening. And the pitch for the pear brandy was incredibly convincing. A wonderful evening with excellent food, genuine hospitality, and plenty of French charm. This evening will certainly remain a cherished memory for the six of us for a long time. A magnificent evening – thank you so much! And warm regards from Madame Coq au vin! 😂

08/09/2026: We stopped at this inn during our trip to the south of France. What a wonderful discovery! The village transports you to another era; it's a true escape from the modern world. We particularly enjoyed the Alienor room for its comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. We will definitely return to spend more time and explore the region. Don't hesitate to make a detour. 22/09/2026: A great placement, just in front of the cathedral. The food was correct, the wine average. The waiter was a bit too eagerly wanting us to finish our meal. Yes, we were among the last clients but still it made a rather unpleasant aftertaste.

10/09/2026: It doesn't get any better than this. A three-course meal at a great price. Lots of wonderful complimentary appetizers on top. A trained waiter with language and wine knowledge... and so much more. We didn't expect such a gourmet highlight in such a sparsely populated area. Highly recommended.
