26/07/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolute highlight in Chagny! The historic ambiance with its open fireplace creates an incredibly cozy atmosphere. We were particularly impressed by the quality of the food – everything was perfectly prepared and served with great care. A big plus: dogs are very welcome. Our four-legged friend received just as warm a welcome as we did, which, unfortunately, isn't always the case. We ate inside and highly recommend it. The atmosphere is unique and makes for a truly special evening. Add to that the very attentive and warm service. Anyone in the area should definitely not miss a visit to Le Grenier à Sel. We'll definitely be back!

05/07/2026: A wonderful experience at this restaurant recommended by our friends; the food was excellent. I had a very generous Caesar salad, and my husband had a foie gras burger, which he thoroughly enjoyed. We'll definitely be back. PS: Reservations are recommended.

20/07/2026: An exceptional stay at the Auberge du Vieux Brancion. The setting, a beautifully restored medieval village, is stunning. As for the gîte, it is very well appointed, elegantly decorated, and the welcome was very friendly.

20/07/2026: Fantastic stay, very friendly hosts. We've known the inn for 30 years. Thankfully, it's open again. The furnishings are brand new and very tasteful. The air conditioning is great. Good dining options include a bistro and a garden area under linden trees. You'll find great pictures of the town everywhere. Highly recommended for time travelers. Actually, one shouldn't recommend such beautiful inns to others... thank you so much for your hospitality! Anett and Sven

12/05/2026: We booked a table at the Saint-Christophe restaurant for dinner. We were able to try the all-you-can-eat frogs' legs, as well as chicken for those who didn't want it. The service was truly impressive: a single waitress and chef was managing three tables that evening (one for 8, one for 4, and one for 3), and she handled everything with great efficiency, good humor, and friendliness. We even managed to jokingly say "stop" when we were completely full because the portions were so generous, which is very rare. It was our first experience with frogs' legs served with several different sauces and unlimited, which is quite unusual and much appreciated. The setting is also very pleasant. We dined inside, which resembles a true guesthouse: personalized decor, homemade creations, numerous objects and books… It has a lot of charm and a warm atmosphere. We will gladly return; this was a very positive experience.

The food is excellent, with a special mention for the fries and homemade mayonnaise—a real treat. Passing through the area for a wedding, we thank you for your hospitality. 09/06/2026: We tried this excellent restaurant for Mother's Day. They kindly agreed to serve a "special" dish for our somewhat fussy daughter, which really helped us have a better meal.
