26/11/2024: Une cuisine traditionnelle, un patron et une équipe au top . Nous sommes venus à 5 gaillards et avons dégusté escargots , boeuf bourguignon et une tête de veau d'exception ( elle vaut le détour) ... un restaurant qui sent bon la tradition française. Que du bonheur

15/09/2024: Lunch in this restaurant on a Monday lunchtime as we were passing through the area.
Quick and pleasant welcome.
We love the fireplace kitchen.
The interior has character. You have to like the old one but it's well decorated.
We had a burger and andouillette. It was very good. Too bad the fries are not homemade (I often repeat myself on this aspect in my reviews but I love homemade fries).
Otherwise everything was very good.
Very good value for money.
Very nice chef
09/09/2024: The decor of this place is just incredible, stone walls, wrought iron chandeliers and a fireplace where your food is prepared with perfect mastery!
Recommendation ? Go there, you will enjoy it.

14/09/2024: Une ambiance zen. On se laisse dorloter. Les plats sont magnifiques et exquis. L'équipe très professionnelle. La visite de la cuisine et de la brigade avec dégustation de génisse charolaise un plus. Et le chef qui vous accueille et qui revient vous voir après le repas.

07/09/2024: Nous sommes allés au Montcenis pour fêter les 80 ans de notre maman. Nous avons été reçus avec beaucoup d'attention, de gentillesse et de prévenance. Nous avons profité d'une cuisine moderne, fine, légère et peu sucrée tout en étant très gourmande. Tout était parfait et délicieux ! Un grand merci à toute l'équipe pour ce moment d'émotion qui nous laissera d'excellents souvenirs.
04/08/2024: We have wanted to go there for many years. It's done. What an atmosphere... Cozy, calm and elegant. A warm welcome . Fine dishes. Flavors... The price is consistent... It's a timeless moment. Certainly the best restaurant we have ever tried. Well done !

09/12/2024: Chic and pleasant hostel. The cuisine is quality and very creative: excellent starter menu asparagus sauce with Indian and Japanese flavors, red tuna with chili peppers, the famous homemade kebab and Burgundy chicken meatballs with yogurt sauce.
Superb strawberry, ice cream, vanilla and mint dessert. All this accompanied by an exceptional Beaujolais St Amour 2017, elegant and competent service, very pleasant welcome, well done to all.
All this at reasonable prices you can visit the perfectly well maintained kitchen.

26/04/2025: Great Restaurant, we eat very well there. The products are homemade, several menu choices also daily specials which can be accompanied with the two menu options, the staff is pleasant and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant, you can go there with your eyes closed. However, remember to book in advance to have a table available for lunch.

20/11/2024: Nous renouvelons nos remerciements à notre hôte qui nous a gentiment ouvert la porte de son restaurant, ce 20 novembre.
A la suite de la visite très intéressante du marché au cadran de Saint Christophe en brionnais, nous avons apprécié la découverte de cette table et la recommandons vivement.
Nous nous sommes régalés tous les trois avec le menu, de l'entrée au dessert.
Il y avait bien longtemps que nous n'avions pas mangé une aussi savoureuse entrecôte, un vrai délice, parfaitement cuite.
En plus d'avoir passé un très agréable moment nous repartons avec de bonnes adresses, merci pour tous vos conseils, votre accueil et gentillesse.

Dish of the day today: roast pork, the best of my life. Bravo to the cook, the welcome, the atmosphere.
Not to be missed if you are in Monceau-les-Mines.
