The eggs meurette and the Paris-Brest Franc-Comtois were delicious, followed by wild boar or a ballotine of guinea fowl with snails and fig tart or quince tatin. 25/08/2024: Pleasant rustic setting. However, we were very disappointed with the meal. Decent starter, very very average beef tartare, tough meat, frozen fries, chicken in cream way too salty and gratin bathed in fat. Ice cream ok, frozen nougat without any taste. We will not come back!

The rooms are well-appointed, clean, very comfortable, and the bathroom is just the right size for us! Fantastic!! The food is prepared with love, it's generous and delicious, accompanied by a lovely wine list. The service is impeccable, and the waitresses are very professional and incredibly kind! We felt right at home, safe and secure! And your adorable little dog was so cute and knew exactly where to go for cuddles! 01/11/2025: Well, for my first visit I was disappointed: the galette was mediocre in terms of taste and the wine, supposedly from the Rhône Valley, was utter rubbish. I'll never be back.

30/09/2025: To follow up on my review of your 1.50€ baguette, check out the reviews of the bakery "Les 3 petits pains" in Moulins, I bought an excellent 1€ baguette there today...so there are some who know how to make it!

21/09/2025: Spending a week in Saint Paulien, we visited this bakery several times. The staff was very pleasant and friendly, and above all, they offered excellent products, whether it was the bread, the pastries, the generous sandwiches at €3.70 🤩, the pizzas, the quiches, the puff pastries, the delicious Ruessien, and the formidable autumn tart. A highly recommended establishment.

10/12/2025: My partner and I came for lunch on a weekday and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I highly recommend it, both for the warm welcome and the excellent food.

20/02/2026: Shocked by the spa manager's attitude. I wanted to book for 5 people for a bachelorette party with spa access and a massage. The woman on the phone was very friendly and told me the manager would get back to me. The manager then delegated the booking to someone else, and I was told that the fact it was for a bachelorette party was a problem for the hotel's "reputation." This is unacceptable; I shouldn't have mentioned it. I think the manager must watch too many TV programs on the subject because we just wanted to relax like the other guests. What ridiculous prejudices! It's a disgrace to represent a welcoming region like Burgundy in this way. A little open-mindedness would be welcome, and as a tip, it's better to call in person for this kind of booking rather than passing the buck to the rest of the staff (who were very friendly, by the way).

27/02/2026: Excellent place. We had a wonderful lunch. Very attentive and friendly service. Delicious dishes. Pleasant setting. In the heart of the Charolais region. Divine desserts. What more could you ask for?

17/02/2026: Everything was perfect, but I was very surprised to find that, under the pretext that we were a table of 10, we couldn't eat what we wanted and that everyone had to order the same menu. It's hard to understand why, as customers, we're told what to eat. If the kitchen can't keep up because there are too many people, they should just turn customers away and ensure a decent selection.
