25/08/2024: Pleasant rustic setting. However, we were very disappointed with the meal. Decent starter, very very average beef tartare, tough meat, frozen fries, chicken in cream way too salty and gratin bathed in fat. Ice cream ok, frozen nougat without any taste. We will not come back!

13/11/2025: Excellent meal in a beautiful setting in Paray-le-Monial. The staff were very friendly and funny. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire meal. Homemade cuisine!

01/09/2025: It's a shame to walk through a very ordinary bar before arriving at a magnificent veranda. The meal was just okay. Friendly service, but they asked for bread three times. A good stopover for a convenient but not memorable meal. The prices were high.

28/11/2025: We were so happy to share a moment as a family. We enjoyed the terrace during the last days of summer and savored some absolutely delicious frogs' legs in cream sauce. Many thanks again to Alain for this wonderful time and to the waiter who was so attentive.

08/12/2025: We had a coffee with colleagues, a very pleasant moment in a charming setting. The very professional manager seated us perfectly so we could enjoy ourselves. The waitress was also very efficient, quick, attentive, smiling, and discreet. I recommend this place for a coffee, a drink, or even a meal, whether with family, friends, or colleagues. I will be back.

11/11/2025: We didn't try the hotel, only the restaurant. This place is worth knowing about because it's very close to the Château de la Verrerie and the museums we wanted to visit in Le Creusot, and the parking spaces are fairly accessible, despite the ongoing construction on Place Schneider. The decor is original (especially the Art Nouveau stained-glass window and the ceiling displaying a physical world map), the staff is pleasant and smiling, and the menu offers a surprising variety of dishes, curiously focused on seafood (tuna steak, grilled prawns, trout fillet meunière, etc.), perhaps because it was a Friday... In any case, the mussels and fries, which we all unanimously chose, were delicious!

07/07/2025: We couldn't open our room window because the handle was broken, the fan was broken, and we were charged more for breakfast than the price shown on the website. The price is not justified.

28/06/2025: Very high-quality establishment. We stopped here on our way south. Friendly welcome, very pleasant staff, good food, and exceptional breakfast - no air conditioning, but a classy building.

23/09/2024: We enjoyed the frogs menu. The home fries were excellent. The restaurant was almost full and the atmosphere pleasant although the weather was rainy. We will come back!

10/08/2024: Telephone reception not very pleasant and what's more, this gentleman does not accept a person in a wheelchair or a baby in a stroller the same evening. If this is not discrimination, someone needs to explain it to me.

28/08/2025: To avoid.....When we arrived the person at reception looked for our room. We went to our room what a disaster...Bad smells, black bathroom ceiling, dust...In addition our room neighbor was screaming...When we reported it to the reception, this lady rolled her eyes and said that it did not surprise her coming from us. We ran away and slept in the car. In short, dirty, horrible welcome.....

27/10/2024: The boss is super bitter and unpleasant, he asked us to vacate the table after 10 minutes and didn't want to serve us what we wanted. To escape, there is much better in Paray

11/12/2024: People always take a bit of pride in this cooperative cellar when we always buy 2/3 boxes. It never really makes you want to come back, but Pouilly Vinzelle is so good that you always come back...

25/11/2025: Starter: Canned mixed vegetables and deviled eggs—my mother's were so much better… Main course: Canned beans, dry, uncooked frozen cod, and sticky mashed potatoes… Dessert: Frozen cake and canned custard… The only thing that's even remotely decent is the wine, so that's something… It's getting worse and worse, and this is the last time I'll ever go to this place!!

14/11/2025: Excellent food, generous and flavorful portions for a set menu of starter and main course or main course and dessert for €21.90. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, highly professional, and always offered helpful advice, especially regarding wines. In short, I had a wonderful family lunch.
