18/06/2026: We gave a gift box to my father and his girlfriend. They called this week to book, and were told it was too late because they were closing soon and fully booked until the closing date. What a disappointment!

04/05/2026: We stayed for one night with friends, including a “gastronomic dinner.” Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The hotel itself is beautiful, but upon arrival we were informed that the air conditioning would not be available (because they decided we don't need airco!!!). We were simply told to open the windows if it became too warm... not exactly a great start. Overall, despite the owners’ apparent willingness to do their best, the dinner was far from gastronomic standards. During the four-course meal, the pacing was extremely rushed: we received the second course barely three minutes after finishing the first. It felt as though the dishes had been prepared in advance and kept warm, ready to be served as quickly as possible, which clearly affected both texture and taste. Our overall impression is that the hotel and restaurant are struggling, and that this is reflected in an inconsistent level of service and a lack of confidence in execution. The concept and pricing suggest a high-end experience, but the reality does not match. For instance, €8 for a glass of cola or €18 for a glass of Viré-Clessé would be acceptable if the overall experience justified it but this is far from the case. Even the decision to limit the use of air conditioning gives the impression of cost-cutting at the expense of guest comfort. In its current state, the establishment would benefit from a complete rethink of its positioning and service standards, as the quality simply does not justify the prices charged.

08/10/2026: We had a wonderful time at this charming inn where we were served the tasting menu (be sure to specify which menu you want upon arrival), a very good menu [not for those with small appetites ;-)]. We also enjoyed a lovely time on the terrace... don't hesitate to stop by.

19/08/2026: I don't understand people who give rave reviews but only 4 stars. The restaurant business is getting tougher and tougher, and when you're lucky enough to have a wonderful time in such an establishment, you give it 5 stars! That's just my humble opinion. For my first visit, I was won over by the warm welcome, the variety of options, the elegant presentation of the dishes, and of course, the exquisite flavor of everything the charming owner generously placed on our plates...and in our glasses (in moderation, of course). Bravo and thank you to her and also to the chef! As a bonus, the bill was quite reasonable...

19/08/2026: This is a review for the restaurant (I did not stay in the hotel): The food wasn’t bad. The staff were polite and nice, the terrace was also nice. The main problem was that there were not enough waiters. It took more than 10 minutes for me to be seated, it took more than 40 minutes until in got the first course and another 40 minutes from the time I finished the first course until I received the main course. I would have loved to have a dessert, but I was tired of waiting. Regarding the food: the amuse- bouche was taste less. The first dish and the main dish were good, but both dishes were served with the same salad

05/06/2026: A high-quality restaurant with friendly and attentive staff. The meal was superb, a feast for the eyes with an explosion of flavors and colors. The presentation was beautiful, and the menu descriptions were impeccable. We had a wonderful evening celebrating our wedding anniversary! I highly recommend it for food lovers!

04/06/2026: INCREDIBLE 😍 A refined and flavorful meal in a calm and elegant setting, served by highly professional and discreet staff. The owner is a true connoisseur (even an expert) of wines; you can trust him completely, you absolutely won't be disappointed (and that's coming from a wine lover 😉). Having dined at several gourmet restaurants in and around Mâcon, I can attest to this being the best, without hesitation. It's IMPOSSIBLE to be disappointed 👍 Thank you, Yannick (the owner), for your kindness and your countless tips and information about the excellent wines of the region. We'll be back for another delicious meal very soon.

12/06/2026: I traveled for work to Spie City Network in Foucherans (39). I slept very well at this hotel-restaurant. Room booked on Booking.com for one night. The owners of the hotel-restaurant are very friendly. I particularly appreciated the lady who served me. I would return.

12/09/2026: We were looking for a good restaurant near our hotel and came across this small but very fine restaurant. There's only one changing menu per day, but it's very refined and delicious. The price/performance ratio is perfect... The excellent wine selection completes the experience. The owner is very friendly and provides exceptionally pleasant and knowledgeable service. If we ever find ourselves in this little town again, we will definitely eat there again.

31/05/2026: We spent two nights at the end of May at the Château de Besseuil. It was simply enchanting. The superior double room in the annex that we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast offered consisted mainly of high-quality, local products. We also dined at the restaurant La Table de Besseuil, located at the entrance to the château. The setting is superb, and the cuisine is refined. The chef uses local and seasonal produce. The wine pairing recommended to us was perfect. This dinner was a delight for both our palates and our eyes. Moreover, the hotel and restaurant staff are very professional and pleasant. Special mention goes to Lana, who looked after us during dinner. The swimming pool was also very welcome during the hot weather.
