12/09/2026: A wonderful discovery during our family stay in Crest Volant in January! A warm atmosphere and impeccable service. We naturally tried the famous local fondue and appreciated the helpfulness of the waitress who offered us a tip for finishing our fondue with a little something extra (worth discovering!) at no extra charge! Our medium-sized dog was also welcome in the restaurant, which was much appreciated. Highly recommended!

03/10/2026: A pleasant surprise to discover this establishment, offering quality dishes in the tradition of Lyon's bouchons (traditional Lyonnais bistros) and a much better price-quality ratio than some restaurants in the city that rely solely on their location or history. Our only regret was not being able to try the calf's head, as we didn't come on the right day. We'll definitely be back for another visit.

27/08/2026: Attention, restaurant closed. This wasn't indicated on Google or on the voicemail. We were craving duck breast, so we called around 12:30 PM and no one answered. The voicemail said they were open from Tuesday, and it was Wednesday, August 26th. We assumed they were busy. We had come from Courchevel, so we drove up to their place only to find it closed. Updating the voicemail would be a plus.

20/08/2026: After a beautiful hike, we waited 20 minutes for a drink. We went somewhere else. This is a problem we've encountered before in this valley.

01/08/2026: Impeccable service, a smiling and attentive waiter/waitress. In addition to a cheese and charcuterie platter (exquisite, by the way), we were offered several pieces of cheese on the house. The atmosphere is quite lively due to the music, but it's perfectly possible to hear each other; that's part of the bar's charm. I mentioned that my cocktail was a little too sweet, which was corrected immediately. In short, I highly recommend this festive and friendly bar. It might not be suitable for children under 5 (although it's perfectly fine), but it's absolutely fantastic!
