The staff is truly friendly and very kind, which is a huge plus and makes all the difference. As for the food, the dishes are generous and high quality. You eat well and leave satisfied. 23/05/2026: Having visited the Umami restaurant in Chambéry, I came to try this one with its view of Lake Bourget. The service was pleasant and efficient. Overall, the meal was decent, but the rice was a bit mushy. A type of sushi with tapenade didn't hold its shape well (it wasn't formed properly). The menu is à la carte only, and there aren't many choices. Reservations are only accepted by phone.

26/04/2026: From the moment I arrived, Léa and Juliette gave me a wonderful welcome and offered excellent advice on choosing my lunch. Everything was perfect! I'm sad it's closing, but I'm already looking forward to coming back next winter for such a warm welcome.

26/03/2026: We came in for desserts, but our experience was rather unpleasant. While we were paying at the counter, the staff member started coughing into her hands, and then used those same bare hands to handle and serve our desserts. This was very unhygienic..

16/03/2026: Marius is a wonderful restaurant in Méribel that we highly recommend. The food is excellent, with refined dishes. A special mention goes to the croziflette-style ravioli – delicious! The staff is also very welcoming and friendly.

27/04/2026: The restaurant is pleasant, and the service is good too. We ordered the beef carpaccio and the grilled salmon. Overall, we were disappointed with our meals. The salmon with noodles was very basic, something you could easily eat at home. The meat in the carpaccio was good, but there was far too much Parmesan cheese, making it cloying. We also felt the prices were high for what we were served.

15/06/2026: Visited on Saturday for dinner after walking past this restaurant so many times and so glad we did. The cooking is simple yet sophisticated. My duck was cooked to perfection with its crispy skin and tender flesh. The sauce was so delicious I asked for extra bread to mop it up. Service was great, the new Japanese server in particular had all the wonderful politeness and friendliness, embodying the spirit of omotenashi right in the heart of 14eme. If you’re reading this review trying to decide if it’s worth going, I’d say do be sure to have a reservation as this spot is popular.
