20/08/2026: After a beautiful hike, we waited 20 minutes for a drink. We went somewhere else.
This is a problem we've encountered before in this valley.
18/08/2026: Excellent value for money compared to similar establishments in the area.
Special mention for the whole duck breast at €26 (flavorful, melt-in-your-mouth tender, French origin 🙌🏻).
Also worth noting is their excellent selection of 33cl bottled beers at very reasonable prices (and €6 for Paix Dieu, Duvel, Chouffe, etc.). Highly recommended! 🙌🏻

07/06/2026: Absolutely unacceptable.
The food is good, the chef is attentive to his customers.
But what about the human interaction? An elderly cyclist, without water, stops to fill his water bottle... 1 euro, the old man leaves the counter empty-handed... where's the human touch?
I give him the rest of my water before he leaves...
That says it all...
01/06/2026: A wonderful time spent with the family, the terrace and parasol were fantastic! And the food was absolutely delicious! A real treat. The staff were friendly and efficient. I highly recommend it.

The food is excellent, with refined dishes. A special mention goes to the croziflette-style ravioli – delicious!
The staff is also very welcoming and friendly.

15/02/2026: The Hôtel des Evettes is a place you'd almost want to keep secret, as Pierre's kindness, his team's helpfulness, and the charm of the hotel and Bonneval make every stay exceptional and unforgettable. But it would be unfair if this recognition weren't shared, even if Pierre humbly doesn't seek it.

We went on Monday with a friend on his Harley and were very well received. Oh yes, the terrace, the view, and the location are heavenly.
23/03/2026: The food wasn't exactly top-notch. The omelet and pasta were dry and served cold. The salad was downright wilted! We even found a rotten piece. The blueberry clafoutis, despite its appealing look, was tasteless, dry, and the blueberries were frozen.
The place is nice, and the service is decent, so it does the job you'd expect from a lunchtime spot between ski runs.

The owners, who are two sisters, are exceptional. There's a single menu for everyone, and it changes daily.
It's simple, it's delicious, and the atmosphere is fantastic.
