23/11/2025: Very disappointed. The restaurant was cold. The cod fillet was more like a loin, as I got the tail, and it was very dry, even grilled. The portion of rice was small. The chocolate mousse was just cream. I really expected better.

08/03/2026: We had a really great waitress. The downside was that we were seated at the back of the room in a small corner, and no one came to see us. Luckily, thanks to our waitress who went to get the princesses for us, my daughter loved it. The meal was very good, but it's a shame there weren't many dishes to choose from.

22/03/2026: For a first visit to Rémy's bistro, it was a resounding success… almost suspiciously so, given how perfect everything was. The welcome was top-notch, the service impeccable, the cleanliness spotless, and, most importantly: the food… incredible. A huge thank you to Jarod, who took care of us. I would recommend this waiter a hundred times over, and that's being generous: smiling, polite, efficient… Unfortunately, my voice failing me prevented me from thanking him properly at the time.

28/03/2026: Extremely expensive and frequented by unsavory characters. Drunk regulars shouting in the middle of the afternoon. Not exactly glamorous for a date. They even charge 50 cents for a lemon slice—I've never seen anything like it! You obviously have to pay before you order anything. Unfriendly service. Not to mention the smell of cigarette smoke inside. I do not recommend it.

30/03/2026: My wife and I went to this place two mornings in a row for breakfast. We received a warm welcome. The €6 breakfast deal was really excellent. The two waitresses who worked there both days were in very good spirits. In short, it was perfect, and if I have the chance to return to Fontainebleau, I will certainly go back. Thank you!

30/12/2025: Denying access to the toilets to people who aren't buying anything makes them very unwilling to buy anything, let alone a coffee. This is especially true when the people in question are a child and a pregnant woman.

08/12/2025: Originally a place I stopped for a coffee on my way to the Château de Champs-sur-Marne, I went there for a drink (or two) in the evening (around 6:00-7:00 PM) with a friend from Lésigny who knows the place well. It's simple and efficient, for a small, unpretentious bistro. The croque-monsieur and crème brûlée were good, perfect to enjoy during and after a few drinks.

23/03/2026: We visited this establishment midweek and ordered plant-based milk drinks which, unfortunately, weren't hot enough. When we went back to the staff, the server decided to reheat them in the microwave, which caused the cups to overflow completely… with no real attempt to manage the situation. It gave a very unprofessional impression. His colleague, however, managed to salvage the situation by apologizing and remaking the drinks properly, which we appreciated. On the other hand, we were particularly bothered by the server's attitude: a rather informal manner of speaking, a marked nonchalance, and a tone that came across as aggressive. This type of behavior is inappropriate, especially towards customers. Overall, the welcome was cold, without a smile, and the atmosphere was unpleasant, which contrasts sharply with our previous experiences as regular customers. It's a shame, because we used to enjoy this establishment. We sincerely hope that this was just a bad day and that the service will return to its usual level.

22/03/2026: Cold atmosphere, the product we ordered looked watered down (sloppy preparation), the waitresses practically ushered us out even though the establishment was still open, I take my hat off to you 🎩

09/03/2026: A traditional village inn with comfortable rooms. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious. Close to the Jean-François Millet workshop and ideal as a base for strolling up and down the Grande Rue.

20/09/2025: Nice setting, interesting menu, but I was disappointed with my pancake. I ordered the Texan, with ground beef, egg, onions, and I got all that, but placed on the crepe. It wasn't a ground beef pancake, but a ground steak with an egg and a pancake. The steak wasn't good, and the rest was flavorless. Even the pancake wasn't crispy. We'll see if I come back to try another pancake. The cider is good.
