12/09/2024: Leaving aside the considerations on how the place looks internally (the floor with a sticky effect and a toilet smell that lingers in the air...), I move on to the food. Coming from an Italian who should know something about cooking and who has been to France several times and has only eaten French food, I would say that we are not quite there. If there had been a Cannavacciuolo, he would have run into the kitchen and lifted the chef. The magret de canard ordered arrives cut like a slice of cake, with a cooking that is not a rosé as ordered but almost raw, placed on top of a multitude of vegetables placed on the plate in a messy manner and of questionable cooking (boiled? roasted? dunno... ). The big mistake is the red fruits that accompany it: it's an exaggeration of vinaigrette, vinegar that floats at the bottom of the dish and ruins everything, covering the flavor of both the meat and the vegetables and making it nauseating. Please bring the vinaigrette separately so the customer can decide whether to put it and how much to put. No gentlemen, we're not there! I do not want and cannot go to a restaurant, spend more than €30 per person and have similar food, nor do I have to send the dish back to the kitchen if it is not to my liking because the commitment on the part of those who boast the name of chefs is almost non-existent. This is a dish made by someone who doesn't know how to cook, by someone who improvised as a cook that evening, not by a chef. I'm sorry but you have to renew yourself on quite a few fronts.

31/08/2024: Home cooking, as we no longer find it, in northern Seine-et-Marne there is no longer a restaurant like it. A perfect chili, a top duck breast and a children's burger worthy of the name.burger I recommend

08/09/2024: We ordered cod back when the fish arrived on the table it gave off a very strong smell we could not eat it the fish was not fresh, contrary to what the boss said we paid €260 for four the boss didn't even get the correction and he still charged us for the dessert we didn't order macarons actually the raspberries were fresh but the cake was stale boss, very friendly my not too disappointed traders.

21/06/2024: Accueil très chaleureux, nous avons passé un agréable moment sous la véranda car c’était un jour de pluie avec un repas copieux et savoureux ,les crêpes au dessert ont été bien appréciées. Le restaurant est bien situé dans le cœur du centre ville, nous recommandons ainsi que le chien Shadow qui a reçu gentiment un bol d’eau .

04/08/2024: Good restaurant, very nice decoration. The dishes are good. Menu map lacks clarity. It was enough to specify on the card that there are 3 choices to make, with a brace on the side. Children's menu a little expensive for the little they eat. A little lack of choice in the buffet starters.

11/09/2024: Unfortunately we will not return to your hotel we had a rather good welcome from the receptionist but once arrived in the room I noticed that there was no switch in the toilet and the shower so in the evening if we Unfortunately, there is movement even from the bed, it lights up, it's not very practical, the hair dryer cord is super hard to pull, the bedding, however, is very good, we slept very well! We were near the spa we appreciated this proximity but unfortunately arrived we saw that the jacuzzi had disappeared and I was very disappointed and especially a person who cleaned the floor with a machine for 10 minutes the color was announced… also the swimming pool was not is not heated between 28 and 30 degrees as advertised it is cold when you get inside there is no feeling of heat at all... I noticed that some customers have fun doing laps for several minutes and it is calm there does not reign during this moment when we would like to relax in the sauna or the hammam and there most of the men were in swimming shorts which is prohibited but since it is not supervised... my partner should have worn shorts he would have been more comfortable the view is still beautiful from the spa… the decor of the hotel and the breakfast were great however there was one thing that bothered us the most which was in the evening around 11 p.m. 00 a.m. we heard the bedroom doors slamming, the sound of footsteps and the TV from the neighbor upstairs... we had to call reception twice in a row for them to come and intervene... finally the end of our stay was coming to an end, we did this remark to the receptionist but we didn't even get an excuse...to be honest he didn't care a bit... on the other hand the proximity of the bakery and the bowling alley and the restaurant near the gas station was great!

19/08/2024: 4* hotel that doesn’t deserve it The general feeling is more like 3* The staff is friendly and the common areas (hammam, sauna, swimming pool and gym) are well appointed, luxurious and spacious The room is bordering on renovation with the damaged bathtub, very low water flow, non-functional hair dryer, slightly broken dressers and some very dim lamps. The TV is not a Smart TV, there are only satellite channels. The restaurant, breakfast, bowling and billiards are in another building with access via an exterior walkway.

21/08/2024: Very nice experience both the hotel and the restaurant. Beautiful family room in an old outbuilding tastefully renovated and very spacious. The only downsides are the absence of a small safety barrier in the staircase going upstairs and the absence of an exterior access ramp for strollers and luggage. Affordable bistronomic restaurant, with tasty dishes and beautiful terraces. We will come back!

20/08/2024: Hotel is excellent, nice place in the middle of an old village. Restaurant is poor, menu exudes gastronomic class, but dishes are not of the standard. Staff is (possibly especially for non-French) not very service-oriented. We had to ask for bread, water and wine (up to 3 times). Were served the wrong dish. It was all quite difficult. Too bad, because the place and hotel are great. And the crepere around the corner too!

23/08/2024: No toilet seats you just sit on the cold porcelain 🤦🏻‍♀️ no toilet paper in the toilet stalls🤦🏻‍♀️ (you need to decide how much you want to wipe before entering the stall so make sure you take enough in with you), no hand driers 🤦🏻‍♀️ These small things being right help you forget you're living in a box on wheels and when they're wrong it makes everything else much harder. Shower cubical was tiny with a push button for approximately 10 seconds of warmish water. Everything ended up wet though because there is nowhere to put it that doesn't get splashed. No drain to put your waste water in 🤦🏻‍♀️ (first batch got diligently wheeled all the way to the chemical toilet drain second batch went in a bush nearby, sorry) Grass pitches had pretty poor drainage. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Electricity is old fashioned low ampage and a neighbour kept cutting us off by overloading our electricity post. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Weird gate rule got me soaked every time we left or returned during the rain storms we had and made the campsite look shut when we first arrived. Pitches are pretty big. Lots of shade from trees 😁 Staff are absolutely lovely, and very helpful which is why its 3 stars not 2 😄 pizza van thing was decent enough but a few flies crawling on surfaces in the van was a bit off putting. 😐 Pool was loved by our kids, not too cold. Game area looked good but we never tried it. Shop in a van onsite was useful. The roads in to the camp are single track so take care if towing. Location great for Disney if thats your thing but Paris is a 50 minute drive or a long train ride away. Good for one night for Disney, no toilet seats was a deal breaker for me.

23/08/2024: We were sceptic because of the former reviews, but turns out they have really good pizza! Would totally recommend the Diavolo, 4 cheese and margherita. The view is also nice, it is self service tho. Would recommend!

09/09/2024: Food is the perfect portion for people looking for a meal after bouldering. The owners are very sweet and helpful! Would definitely visit again on our next trip to fontainebleau.

08/09/2024: I would like to point out that we are not regulars and contrary to some comments, Francis seems grumpy but that is not the case. He has a lot of humor which should not be understood by everyone unfortunately... As a result, you will read a lot of unsightly opinions or come and form your own opinionx if you do not have the narrow and antisocial spirit of these people . The catering has a high quality/price ratio, the products are fresh and come from a large professional market recognized worldwide. We shared a very good digestive with Francis and Corinne, which is why our comment is legitimate unlike the others. <3 We will come back with great pleasure

13/09/2024: Absolutely loved our time here. Came with a fellow Disney mad bestie, the princess interaction was so sweet considering it was just us two with no kiddies 🤣🤣 and we had a great time getting some fab photographs and soaking in the atmosphere. We did the lunch here,the food itself was absolutely delicious. there's a lot of junk type food in Disney and we really wanted somewhere that we could have a nice dining experience and auberge defo did that. The character experience for dining just made it even better! We both had the pumpkin soup to start which was lovely. There's like a pumpkin puree in the shape of a pumpkin with the soup then added which was delicious. I loved my main too, I was torn between the beef and chicken but went for chicken and it was so good. My friend is veggie so only had the choice of one dish but we'd checked the menu out before booking and she also really enjoyed her dinner! Desserts were again, delicious. My friend had the cinderella dessert, so cute with the little chocolate slipper! I had the chocolate fondant which was beautiful, can never resist a fondant and it didn't disappoint. The staff were very attentive with my nut allergy and confirmed what I could and couldn't have, always reassuring when you have an allergy. Monica was our server and she was so lovely, friendly and helpful. Service was quick and we were never left waiting for drinks or food. The whole experience lasted about 1.5-2 hours or so, we had a fab time and it was the most lovely way to finish our trip The queues for the princess pavilion are always looong...so if a princess meet is a must like it was for us, or if you have princess mad kids, its actually a really good use of time as you get a break from walking and can rest and eat whilst you meet the princesses. plus you meet 4 princesses and the 2 mice from cinderella, whereas at the pavilion you just meet one I believe. We had Cinderella, Aurora, snow white and Merida. Also amazing decor and theming inside. 100% would recommend!

10/09/2024: Une très très belle expérience ! Alors oui le prix est élevé mais franchement cela vaut vraiment le coup ! Nous avons été accueillis dans la partie blanche et bleue, apparemment il y a plusieurs salles. Celle-ci est tout simplement magnifique ! Nous avons réservé pour 11h30, les princesses sont très vite arrivées. Un court instant à chaque table, mais suffisamment pour profiter pleinement de l'instant ! Nous avons eu Cendrillon, les souris Suzie et Perla, Merida, Jasmine et Mulan. Le repas était très bon, très bien servi. C'était un moment hors du temps. Je ne regrette pas du tout d'avoir réservé. De beaux souvenirs pour moi et mes 2 filles.
