19/06/2026: Absolutely THE BEST homemade French food made from scratch. If you are looking for small portions this is not the place. Everything that is available is written on a small tabletop chalk board and erased when limited quantity is ordered and consumed. The Chef goes to local market on Mondays and purchases what his back yard does not grow. He waits the table, prepares the food and serves it, and is the cashier. Save room for his dessert array, unbelievably an indulgence. Admire his art that is displayed in his living and dining rooms that is also where the guests eat. Locals flock with their Tupperware for take away meals. The 34 local bus from Chessy drops you right in front of the restaurant! Plan to walk home to burn the calories consumed!!!! In a week staying at the Marriott Vacation Club, I eat lunch and dinner there as much as I can because the quality, quantity, and inexpensive total bill make it #1 authentic French restaurant in Paris for me.

07/05/2026: This restaurant that offers homemade takeaway meals on Sundays sounds great on paper, but in practice, it's a disaster! April 12, 2026: Chicken Columbo. After numerous calls over several days, no one answers, making it impossible to place an order. Later, we decided to try again and call back about the duck legs with orange sauce, scheduled for May 10, 2026. We finally managed to get someone on the phone after many calls since the beginning of the week, only to be told that they've stopped offering that meal because they've decided to participate in a flea market. Seriously?! From now on, please stop using this kind of flyer that you display in the local shops!

14/03/2026: We just discovered a fantastic restaurant! The welcome was warm, and the food was superb—generous portions and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good food.

18/06/2026: I bought two Maxi Country Salads and I'm very disappointed; we clearly don't have the same definition of "Maxi." 17 euros is ridiculous! Never again.

16/05/2026: Disappointing welcome; the dining room was cold in both decor and atmosphere! We came on a Friday, and there was nothing on offer except a set menu with a mediocre starter, a main course of cod with citrus sauce (frozen cod, poorly cooked), and an average dessert. Based on the reviews, we were expecting a fantastic meal but left disappointed. 😞 😞 Avoid this place during the week.

27/06/2026: We went there during a karaoke night and ate paella 🥘 it was super delicious and the atmosphere was really great!

25/06/2026: The main course was excellent, as was the homemade dessert. The service was impeccable and attentive. I will be back.

30/07/2026: I came to pick up two pizzas I ordered, one with goat cheese and honey. I'm attaching a photo of the pizza, which was described as medium but felt small. The bit of yolk in the photo is supposed to be a fried egg… I'm quite disappointed for the price; I expected a minimum level of quality. The photo speaks for itself. I'm sorry, but I don't recommend it.

11/05/2026: Very good pizza, whether you prefer a thin or soft crust, the restaurant is beautiful and well decorated, I recommend it!

03/07/2026: High-quality products in both the bakery and pastry sections. Excellent ice cream. All at very reasonable prices, served by efficient and friendly staff.

30/06/2026: The ficelle and lemon meringue tart were absolutely delicious. Despite the queue, the service was fast, friendly & efficient. Highly recommend!

20/07/2026: The quality has declined, and the menu remains expensive for what it is. The presentation of the dishes is poor. There's a lot of salad as a garnish just to fill the plate, and the bread is frozen and reheated in the oven.

18/04/2026: The food was worse than mediocre. We ordered duck breasts that were impossible to cut, they were so tough. We were offered to change our dishes. The ribeye steak served as a replacement proved to be just as tough; we had to give up after barely a third of the way through. As for the fish, hastily defrosted and reheated, it was barely edible. The final surprise came when the bill arrived: we paid for the most expensive dishes, the ones we had ordered by default, not by choice. Neither a restaurateur nor a merchant.

07/08/2026: The terrace is nice for a drink in the late afternoon, it's a shame that one of the drinks we ordered was forgotten for over 20 minutes, even though we reordered it several times. The service definitely needs improvement…

05/08/2026: While strolling in Fontainebleau we found this pleasant restaurant. With impeccable, smiling service and excellent cuisine, the missing star is more for the wait; the service was very long, which prevented us from tasting the dessert which we were very keen to try.

10/07/2026: It’s very hard to find a restaurant that excels in multiple areas—its staff, atmosphere, and food—but when you do, it’s usually Le Franklin Roosevelt. This cozy, fabulous restaurant holds a special place in every customer’s heart.

18/06/2026: Today I went to this bar for a drink with a friend. We'd barely walked in when the waitress, looking a bit overwhelmed, gave us curious looks. We ordered two beers at the bar. Then came the owner, Mr. Bob. He said hello after a few strange glances. To be fair, we weren't dressed up; we'd just come from work. We exchanged a few pleasantries, and I told him we were better off in here. He replied, "No, staying outside is better." I repeated, "Stay outside?" But there was no answer. Then he sprayed perfume in the air as if our perspiration was too much for this prestigious bar. My friend confirmed that he had indeed said, "No, staying outside is better." So, be warned: if you go to this bar, you will neither be properly welcomed nor treated with the respect you deserve. Bob, you'll never send me back to your bar again. If I could give it zero stars, I would. A word to the wise.

28/07/2026: One star because I can't give zero… The galette was expensive, small, and sparsely filled… And let's not even mention the tiny chocolate crepe for almost €7… The salad was bland, oil-free, and tasteless, all for €15. The children were disappointed, and so were the adults. Not very nice for locals and those on a tight budget…

26/07/2026: We were a table of 6. There were 3 different galettes. The service was random; my neighbor got mine, I got someone else's, etc. No apologies, no discounts, just contempt.

26/07/2026: A very nice place, we received a very warm welcome. Spacious and shaded terrace with vines and a fig tree, and the couscous was very good, made with vegetables from the garden!

The all-you-can-eat setup has a huge range of choices, and everything we had was great—100% worth the visit. What really made the experience stand out was the staff; they were super friendly, attentive, and helpful. Don't skip this one!"

25/07/2026: Cape Cod at Disneyland Paris – A must We had an outstanding buffet meal at Cape Cod and can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we sat down, the staff were attentive, polite, and genuinely welcoming. A special mention must go to our waiter Salvatore — his attentiveness and exceptional service made the whole experience feel seamless and special. He checked in at just the right moments, and made sure everything was perfect without ever being intrusive. The buffet is a real treat. There’s a beautiful selection of seafood, including crab, prawns, octopus, trout, and tuna (with a lovely variety of tuna preparations), all looking and tasting wonderfully fresh. Alongside that you’ll find a wide choice of meats and a good range of salads, so there’s something for every preference at the table. Desserts were delicious and plentiful — just the right amount of indulgence without being so heavy that you’d regret heading straight back onto the rides afterwards. Overall, Cape Cod delivered excellent food, warm hospitality, and a relaxed atmosphere that made it one of the standout dining experiences of our Disneyland Paris visit. Buses leave from the main bus / train station area. Stand B and take the bus to Newport bay club hotel (every 10-15 minutes - no charge) you can walk in about 20 minutes.
