31/05/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant one day. The dining room was full, and the waitress seemed to be handling many tasks single-handedly: serving, taking orders, and processing payments. Despite her efforts, she appeared very busy. We wish her all the best for the peak season.
As for the meal, the cider was unfortunately not served chilled, and the grilled ham didn't seem to be grilled enough; it was barely cooked.

07/02/2026: The first floor is cramped and noisy. This Friday, February 6th, at lunchtime, there were 28 covers despite the posted capacity of 19 (a safety measure?).
Cleanliness needs improvement; the cutlery was dirty.
The food quality could be better. Aside from the location... a place to avoid.
28/12/2025: Excellent brasserie!
Lunch for four as a family.
Aperitif with a spritz, a glass of white wine, and two sodas.
Two set menus (starter, main course, dessert), with a poached egg with Camembert as a starter.
For the main course, chicken casserole with Maroilles cheese and homemade fries, and tarte tatin for dessert.
For the children, a burger and a flank steak with homemade fries.
All the dishes were delicious.
Sanitation is well-maintained,
and the food is both tasty and plentiful for a very reasonable price (€99.70).
All this with a magnificent view of the Rouen courthouse (absolutely beautiful).
Friendly and efficient service.

05/06/2026: A chalkboard menu, but they didn't inform the customer. They found hair in my food, took my plate to the kitchen, removed the hair, and gave me back the plate. 🤮🤮🤮 Basic hamburger; the ones I make at home are better than that. Nothing on the table: salt, pepper, bread, mustard... I do not recommend this establishment.

The menu is extensive. Good value for money.

06/06/2026: Restaurant permanently closed, breakfast at €7 with very little choice (they're cutting corners), no more bottled water, coffee, or tea in the rooms. And on top of that, they block bad reviews on Booking.com 🤬. I used to be a regular, but I won't be going back!!

Superb place, superb and very friendly welcome...
Magnificent setting, stylishly decorated room, we slept well, very quiet, a nice change and I loved it!
Okay, the bathroom isn't amazing but it's sufficient, I didn't spend the night in it...it's clean, which is what counts, just like the room, plus it has a fridge, which is fantastic!!
Large free private parking lot, that's a big plus!
The lady at reception is really very friendly, kind, and attentive...
It's a real shame about the restaurant (closed), we would have loved to eat there with such beautiful dining rooms and such a magnificent exterior...
Excellent value for money compared to other, much more expensive establishments!!!!
We'll definitely keep this address in mind 😜

17/05/2026: A very good meal with lots of flavor. One small drawback was that the waitress came to check on us every 5 minutes to see if we had finished. It was unpleasant.
21/04/2026: We've been going there for a while now thanks to friends, and we highly recommend it! In fact, we're going back tomorrow, which will give us a chance to adjust our rating if needed. I recommend the place and the atmosphere!

25/12/2025: A very pretty town, the Casino has a nice view facing the sea with gaming machines for all audiences and a very warm welcome from the staff, well done to the whole team.
23/12/2025: I've rarely seen management eat during lunch, especially since there's only one server for both the bar and the restaurant. The management of the place is surprising; I rarely see staff or management eating during service. People often eat before or after lunch, which creates a bad impression.

02/05/2026: We arrived thinking it was a crêperie, but it was definitely not.
The food used to be very good, but now Philippe Etchebest needs to come and see it. I felt like I was on a cooking show called "Kitchen Nightmares."
My wife and I arrived and were warmly welcomed. We ordered two plates of pasta carbonara. The pasta was really tough, not al dente, and seriously undercooked. I asked if they could just recook it for my wife, since she couldn't eat it (we were even ignoring how bland it was). In the end, we heard the cook grumbling that people just wanted something like pasta and cream, so that's what he served my wife, with some bacon, and it was still undercooked.
He didn't even bother to come and see what was wrong. He made sure to stay in his little kitchen... Luckily I didn't order fish. Anyway, no wonder there was nobody in the restaurant.
Bad experience; we left without eating our meal and angry at being treated like idiots.
28/12/2025: The waitress was very nice, but she didn't realize she was using two different-sized glasses for the two people to serve the wine. The "rougaille saucisse" (sausage rougaille) was a rarity in name only. The side dishes were either frozen sausage and fries or tagliatelle, instead of rice and red beans. Another dish was a bagged salad. For dessert, there was a Yule log or frangipane tart that looked like they came straight from a supermarket shelf. Nothing was homemade except the bill, which was eye-wateringly expensive. Very, very disappointed!

Very unpleasant welcome - the drinks served were not those ordered and, moreover, were expired. They were replaced with others that were just as expired. The food was served cold - no apologies or gesture of goodwill. The pizza machine nearby is much better, and if the snack bar at the campsite next door is open, don't hesitate to go there; it's perfect.
