The servers are not at all friendly to customers and even to each other.
The pancakes are reheated and filthy and the hygiene of the service is pitiful!!
I saw a waiter put his finger in a plate AND TASTE the dish to find out who it was!
Unthinkable that such a restaurant could still exist in France!!!

18/08/2024: Il y a 40 ans Bebert nous cuisinait avec le sourire des gambas d anthologie dans sa paillote pour une somme tout à fait raisonnable …
En 2024 malheureusement beaucoup de choses ont changé: si tout était servi avec le sourire on accepterait peut être de payer les tarifs pratiqués. Là, par ex pour 36 euros on nous amené un poisson à defaire soi-même avec un bol pour mettre ses déchets !
Pas sûr que ce resto existe toujours dans 40 ans! Grosse déception !
05/08/2024: Très bel emplacement, très bel endroit. Dommage que la qualité de la nourriture ne soit pas à la hauteur.
En effet, notre table a pris, entre autre, deux assiettes de poulpe dont la provenance est inconnue.
Les deux personnes ayant pris ce plat ont été malade, intoxication alimentaire pour les autres, pas de problème.
Nous avons appelé le lendemain pour les prévenir qu’il y avait eu un problème.
Nous espérons qu’ils ont fait le nécessaire dans leur cuisine.

13/09/2024: Don't stop in front of this restaurant.
Bad food, only frozen food that the chef doesn't even work a little, no salt, pepper, nothing.
On the other hand, a very nice and professional waitress who gets yelled at by the chef because she doesn't take orders quickly enough (40 seats alone) with little waiting time which seems good to me, it's certain that the cook has no waiting time to heat from frozen.
07/09/2024: We can't put 0, too bad.
In a few words:
- pitcher of rosé 50cl at 16€ (not vintage, I specify ^^)
- extra fries on a salmon tartare for €19 (with almost no salmon, I should add): €6
I knew that life was expensive in Sanary, inflation because of the war in Ukraine, covid, but hey, Mr. Restaurateur, have a minimum of respect for the customer.
Because at that price, we want something good, and your interest is not even to make good food, but to make your brand a real TOURIST TRAP!!!
So to those who read this message and pass by the Grillon in Sanary, some advice find another restaurant, there are lots of other better ones

We enjoyed fresh fish and the waiters/waitresses were super friendly
The only downside is the potatoes which should have been cooked more in our opinion.
01/09/2024: It's a shame that the menu display is incorrect because the only option is the à la carte menu. Which means that the score is far from being the same. A word to the wise.

11/08/2024: "I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant. We ordered two Caesar salads and two Niçoise salads, and it was simply inedible. The salads were flavorless, barely garnished, with ingredients that looked like they came straight out of a can No freshness, no attention to detail, just sloppy plates without the slightest effort.
To top it all off, the service was terrible. The staff was rude and inattentive, as if we were disturbing. A disappointing experience from start to finish. We will never set foot in this place again.”

07/08/2024: J'ai commandé un hamburger normalement bleu je l'ai reçu très bien cuit en sachant que je mange exactement le même chez moi avec les mêmes pommes de terre niveau tarif et qualité de prestation a fuir !!!
Niveau service à revoir ET très insistant pour savoir si on avait fini où pas pour un risotto à 24€ ET un hamburger du moment à 19€ je pense que l'on peut avoir mieux que ça.Je fais mieux à la maison !!!
Du moment qu'on à des pdt fraîches autant faire des frites !! La salades immangeable le seul point positif le cadre !!! À fuir vraiment
