10/03/2026: The welcome and service were excellent; the two girls were very kind and attentive. The food was good, but nothing special. I ordered fish, which was described as having potatoes and scallops. There were no potatoes, and only a small scallop. We were a little disappointed; we expected more flavor, especially in the main courses. Also, we found it a bit overwhelming to have so many menus and choices (two for meals, one for wine, and two suggestion boards) all at once. Perhaps reducing the number of choices would be a good idea and would allow for higher-quality dishes. 🤷‍♀️ We still had a good time, though.

21/03/2026: On our way to Côtes d'Armoire, we stopped in the small village of Derval. Based on the reviews, we chose this restaurant. Upon entering, we saw several customers seated, but many tables were empty. The owner kept walking back and forth during his shift, acting as if he didn't see me. So my friend, who had stayed outside, went in and spoke to the owner, who curtly replied that there were no more seats and that he was no longer serving, even though it was 12:40 PM. If this is what business is like, then go somewhere else and wait another fifteen minutes; you'll surely receive a warmer welcome.

31/03/2026: I had lunch there today and the welcome was very warm and friendly. The dishes were very good and generous. The meat was incredibly good, and the butternut squash soup was too. I highly recommend it; don't hesitate to go.

Despite the fact that the owner was working alone—serving and cooking—everything went very smoothly, and he remained enthusiastic about delighting and serving us. The service and the meal lived up to expectations, the manager is wonderful and creates a truly warm atmosphere!!! The dishes were beautiful and full of flavor! The rooms are modern, clean, and high-quality! We had a wonderful rest! And the outdoor green space allows you to truly disconnect from nature!! We'll definitely be back!

09/07/2025: My wife and I stayed one night in the Désir chalet. The welcome was attentive and thoughtful. We waited over a complimentary drink while our chalet was made available to us, even though our arrival was scheduled for a later date. We appreciated this very kind gesture. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. As for the chalet, it was an enchanting getaway for my wife and me, as the setting was idyllic and peaceful. The rooms were perfectly cleaned and warmly decorated. As for the hammam and jacuzzi, we spent delightful moments of tranquility there. Finally, the property manager was extremely natural and charming upon our departure. We enjoyed her delightful conversation. Thank you again. We recommend it.

25/03/2026: A superb evening enlivened by the band Carole n'bass. This inn was a lovely discovery; we had a very good meal.

13/03/2026: What a lovely surprise this inn was, located in a peaceful and secluded spot! (Horses and ducks nearby are an extra charge.) The value for money is excellent, especially these days when it's even harder to find reasonable prices. The food is fresh, local, and homemade (need I say more? Haha). We'll gladly return, either as a family or as a reward after a beautiful hike in the Vosges Mountains!

11/09/2025: After this third stay at the Auberge de la Poulciere, this is the perfect place to forget about everyday worries. A charming little place nestled in a green setting in the heart of a forest. Peace, serenity, relaxation... Ideal for recharging your batteries and getting back to basics. The rooms are absolutely perfect and decorated with great taste and class. The owners are fabulous: helpful, friendly... but above all, their warm welcome makes the stay most enjoyable. I would come back. My haven of peace in the heart of nature.
