Everyone who had lunch or dinner was extremely satisfied. Her recommendations for service, portion sizes, and meal quality were perfect. We recommend her without hesitation.

16/06/2026: The "gourmet weekend" package truly lives up to its name! The restaurant is excellent, with refined, fresh, and flavorful cuisine. We thoroughly enjoyed everything from appetizer to dessert in a chic and tranquil setting. Kudos to the entire team, both in the kitchen and the dining room: it was fantastic (and the wine list was varied, a bonus for wine lovers)! As for the rest, the hotel staff were friendly and professional, the room was clean and comfortable (the roller shutters were a nice touch), the breakfast was generous and varied, and the Wi-Fi worked well. In short, the establishment is perfect for a gourmet and relaxing getaway.

02/07/2026: I went to this restaurant for my mother's birthday. Initially, we were a little disappointed because our table didn't have a lake view. But the entire team did everything they could to ensure our meal was a success. We were pampered from beginning to end, with a thoughtful extra touch for my mother's birthday. A huge thank you to the whole team for their professionalism, kindness, and warm welcome. I give this restaurant a 100/100 without hesitation and highly recommend it!

19/05/2026: I don't think it's inappropriate to ask for information before eating, especially when you're with family. It's a perfectly normal question. I simply stopped by to ask about the raclette and fondue. At first, the welcome was pleasant, but as soon as I asked if the raclette was all-you-can-eat, the attitude changed and the atmosphere became colder. In Switzerland, raclette is often offered all-you-can-eat, so my question was simply to understand how it worked, especially since we're not from the area. I was then asked if I had a reservation, and then told that the restaurant was full, even though it seemed almost empty at that point. Perhaps there was a misunderstanding, but honestly, we felt a bit uncomfortable. It's a shame, because we came as a family hoping to have a good time.

19/05/2026: We came for lunch today and had a wonderful meal. We were very happy with the set menu; everything was excellent. We rarely eat out because we're often disappointed, but you can go there without hesitation :) The service was also quick.

23/02/2026: Very disappointed! We came once before, and it was great: fine and refined cuisine. But this Sunday, the dishes had a very heavy, overpowering sauce that was not good at all. We also had a very large portion of sweetbreads, which was sickening because it was too big, again with a heavy, thick, and very strong sauce. For dessert, we ordered sorbet, and we were brought three scoops with nothing else! Not a mint leaf, no small fruit for garnish, not a small biscuit, nothing for €15! What a disappointment for €180! We will not be returning to Karélian.

24/05/2026: Good food, disastrous service. Our waitress tossed us the bread, salt, and pepper without a word or a smile—we felt like we were intruding. Some people are clearly not cut out for customer service jobs.

17/05/2026: Parking is very easy. The interior is well-maintained, with immaculate white tablecloths and good-quality paper napkins. Impeccable cleanliness. The waitresses, all dressed in black, are very classic and elegant. The menu isn't too long. That's a good sign, suggesting homemade dishes. We opted for the escalope and kidneys set menu. For a starter, we had a Vosges salad...very generous in both quality and quantity. When the main courses arrived, we were pleasantly surprised again: homemade and beautifully presented. The waitresses are friendly and attentive to our satisfaction. The prices are very reasonable. The wait between the starter and the main course is perfectly normal...not stressful or too long. We'll definitely be back, and probably more than once during our stay. Well done to everyone! 👍

It was my first time there, and as someone who regularly enjoys good cuts of meat, I found the selection, the flavor, and the quality excellent... what more could you ask for? 12/07/2026: Absolutely flawless! For meat lovers, this is the place to be in Épinal. The quality (and quantity!) of the food is simply exceptional. The cooking was absolutely perfect, exactly as ordered. The Iberian ham as an appetizer is a must. The homemade desserts are also delicious. Beyond the food itself, we received excellent advice on wine pairings. The service is impeccable and attentive. A big thank you to the entire team for their professionalism and friendliness. The chef came to the dining room at the end of service; it's always a pleasure to chat, he's clearly passionate about his work. Beautiful terrace. You can go without hesitation!
