15/09/2026: On the way back, we had the set menu for €23. Very good, generous portions, and delicious. The owner was very friendly. A perfect lunch stop. It's worth noting that the à la carte options suggest the quality of the other dishes.

11/09/2026: We were delighted to discover this extraordinary place, which is wonderful in every way: refined and generous cuisine, a friendly atmosphere. We tried the Abbesses pâté, a specialty I highly recommend, which, despite its name, is made with fish. A must-try if you're ever in Remiremont.

06/10/2026: We were looking forward to enjoying the Franche-Comté specialties featured on the website. The set menu was just okay, nothing special. Very disappointed 😞.

04/10/2026: A group of 17 people gathered for a company meal. The menu was chosen in advance from a selection of two starters, two main courses, and two desserts. There was something for everyone, and no one was disappointed. Excellent value for money and quantity! Thank you to the entire team for their warm welcome.

22/09/2026: A very warm welcome. Reservations are essential. The first room is more suited to truckers and construction workers, but has a good atmosphere. The second room is smaller, but quieter and more family-friendly, or suitable for business lunches. The waitresses present the appetizers and desserts at the table in a very friendly and efficient manner. Everything seems delicious and the portions are generous. There's a good selection of dishes. On the day of our visit, the service was a little slow, but the restaurant was full. When it came time to pay the very reasonable bill, the chef/owner appeared. We had a pleasant chat. In short, I highly recommend it.

26/08/2026: A real discovery this weekend! There were four of us, and honestly, it had been a while since we'd eaten so well! Everything was incredible, from start to finish. And in terms of value for money, it was unbeatable: for around €40 per person, we had an aperitif, a starter, a main course, a bottle of wine, a cheese plate, dessert, and even a digestif (from Dom Papa to Takamaka 😍). An amazing meal, a truly memorable experience, and above all, a wonderful team! The servers were incredibly friendly, offered excellent advice, and we really felt right at home. A huge thank you to the restaurant for this fantastic experience; we highly recommend it! A little tip: remember to book ahead; it's definitely worth it!

19/05/2026: There were six of us hiking, and we stopped here for the night. We had dinner there that evening and it was delicious. We made friends with members of the Vosges Club. The staff is very friendly and professional. We stayed overnight, and all six of us were in the room and slept very well. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. There are tables and chairs in the common area, which allowed us to play a little card game while waiting for dinner. We recommend this place because it also offers a magnificent sunset.

23/07/2026: La Cholotte is a complete experience. Everything is perfect and exudes love: the inn, the rooms, the decor, the food, the garden, and the surrounding area. Monsieur Patrick is like a caring father, discreet yet always there when needed. We stayed in the Cabane de l'Étang, a truly exceptional place; a stay made all the more special by the fantastic starry sky and the absolute silence. In short: magnificent and we'll definitely be back!
