02/04/2026: What a transformation for this establishment! You can immediately feel the touch of the new owner: a radiant, courageous, and passionate young woman who has breathed her own unique character into the place. The decor reflects her personality: natural, tasteful, and unpretentious. As for the food, it's a delight! The cuisine is excellent, and the value for money is unbeatable (we ordered the ribeye steak, cooked to perfection, the burger, and the morbiflette). Special mention goes to the waiter, who was very professional, efficient, and always smiling. In the summer, the terrace with its festive string lights is a true haven of peace in an area well worth exploring. A simple, genuine, and welcoming place. Go for it! 26/04/2026: We came for a drink on the terrace this Saturday, April 25th. We politely asked a waitress where we could sit, and she replied, "Wherever you like." We sat down at a table that had already been cleared, which is normal, but no, a waiter in his fifties spoke down to us and forced us to change tables because we had sat at one that had already been cleared. He said, "Hmm, if everyone does like you, we'll never get anywhere..." (with a completely idiotic laugh). Furthermore, we waited over 20 minutes for two Coca-Colas... This restaurant is to be avoided!!

25/04/2026: Everything is perfect, the portions are more than generous, and the staff is very welcoming. I highly recommend it.

15/05/2026: My wife and I had lunch there for our wedding anniversary and it was absolutely perfect! The restaurant is housed in a beautiful building with stunning woodwork. The staff is very friendly, smiling, and offers excellent advice. The food is exquisite; each bite is a renewed pleasure, thanks in particular to the sommelier's excellent wine pairing recommendations.

14/05/2026: First time... a wonderful discovery in a magnificent setting. The staff and owners were very welcoming and approachable. They gave excellent advice on food pairings. The cheese and dessert trolleys were beautiful and delicious, and the explanations about their origins were very helpful. We will gladly return.

02/05/2026: A peaceful inn, perfect for stopping and enjoying homemade Vosges dishes. Our friends Alain and Christine and I had a wonderful meal. A very pleasant place.

13/04/2026: A pleasant stay, with a few minor negative points: there was no more shower gel in the bathroom, the TV was crackling, the spa area was unfortunately not very relaxing (children were present), and we were unable to enjoy the jacuzzi.

08/03/2026: We loved it! The menu featured excellent dishes, top-quality ingredients, and beautifully presented plates. The intimate atmosphere was a welcome change from noisy places. While quality comes at a price, it was well worth the trip. We were delighted and will definitely return.

14/01/2026: We spent last New Year's Eve enjoying a fantastic seven-course meal with great music. Considering the portion sizes, €145 was absolutely not too much to pay. After the fifth course, we were already more than full, but we had to at least try the last few courses.

19/05/2026: Good experience at the Alsatian Tavern: I had a very good meal; the tarte flambée was delicious. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. The servers were also friendly and the service pleasant. You can tell it's a very popular tourist spot. The only real downside (for me) is the lack of space between the tables; they're really very close together (20cm apart). So you have to like fairly cramped places. Personally, it's not really the kind of atmosphere I enjoy. But it's still a good place to eat a good tarte flambée in Gérardmer 😊

26/11/2025: We passed through in August and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. An authentic inn in a lovely green setting. A huge plus for the evening meal and the truly excellent breakfast!!! It's an address we'll definitely keep in mind.

14/03/2026: Probably the best restaurant we visited on our vacation in epinal. The plates are original, home made and big. For a higher level of cuisine, im suprised that you get a lot on your plate (lots of vedgetables to, in contrary to most restaurants in france). Unlike most high cuisine restaurants, you wont leave this place with hunger. Service is very friendly Oh and the coffee is from an italian coffee machine. Perfect!

14/05/2026: Excellent service. Unfortunately, the menu lacked a proper vegetarian selection. However, my personal requests were very well accommodated, and a special menu with vegetarian options was prepared.
