23/01/2026: I stopped because there was a McDonald's and that's what I wanted. The rest area is clean, and so is the store. I'm giving it 3.5 stars because there's one very annoying issue: in the women's restroom, the hygiene bins aren't secure. I found myself in a stall where the bin lid was open, which wasn't pleasant. I closed the lid, but more hygienic bins would be welcome. On the other hand, kudos for the coat/bag hook; you don't find them everywhere.

21/12/2025: The establishment is lovely, however, the welcome leaves much to be desired. We'd barely arrived when they wanted to seat us, even though not everyone had arrived yet. Some wanted to have drinks at the bar while they waited, but we were being rushed. We were told we could have an aperitif at our table, but as soon as we sat down, they brought us a menu to choose our main course. It was a large table, so then they served us our aperitif, followed by our main course, which was practically cold. We didn't say anything, we didn't want to be a pain. Then there was dessert, but no menu. So if you don't like dessert, you're out of luck. The ice cream and chocolate were barely drinkable. For some, you had to ask for dessert because they'd been forgotten; they hadn't been asked. You order sparkling wine, and they forget the excuse: "We didn't understand, we thought you were talking amongst yourselves." And finally, when it came time to pay, there was a difference of about €6, and they practically called us thieves and dishonest. At €7 a Malibu, I wonder who's stealing whom. To top it all off, no goodwill gesture whatsoever. They practically threw us out, shoving one of our own out, saying, "Don't come back, leave! I want to close my restaurant!" It's deplorable. Spending €500 in a restaurant only to be treated like this is shameful. One last thing: come with clean shoes, like at school when it rains you wear slippers, well here you'll need overshoes! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 My advice: avoid this establishment.

23/03/2026: A very pleasant lunch break at this brasserie in the heart of the city, with paid parking right in front. Varied menu with reasonable prices. Good value for money. The service is friendly, smiling, and quick. Lunch special: starter, main course, and dessert for €19, excellent!

04/11/2025: Absolutely delicious! I wasn't familiar with the area and stumbled upon this restaurant on TripAdvisor—a real gem. We had a vegetarian burger (even though I eat everything) and it was fantastic. Thank you to the chefs, the warm welcome, and the excellent service. Highly recommended! (Be warned, it gets very busy!)

Go there, it's worth the detour, superb pizzas made in a wood-fired oven and a magnificent setting. Thanks to the manager. I would say the best pizza in Auxerre without any hesitation. 11/11/2025: I went to this restaurant to celebrate my 45th wedding anniversary. The dining room is bright and beautifully decorated. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and very professional, with a delightful touch of humor. The menu is well-presented and offers a wide selection. The dishes were a delight; everything was perfect—the cooking and presentation were impeccable. Very importantly, they gave us time to savor each dish, which deserves to be highlighted. I thank the waitress for her humor and her smile. Hats off to the chef for his work, worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant.

19/03/2026: Hello, I spent one night in this hotel and I would avoid it. The reception was friendly, but the room was appalling: completely unsanitary, with moldy windows, mildew, and other issues, stains on the carpet, a cracked bathroom ceiling, mediocre cleaning, and the bed linens weren't hypoallergenic. It was for a business trip, so one night is acceptable, but I find it expensive for what it is, considering the renovations they need to do.

09/03/2026: Overall, a good hotel. The rooms are spacious (at least those on the 5th floor) thanks to the terrace, and the breakfasts are plentiful and varied. However, if you're in room 500 like me, bring earplugs because the elevator machinery is right on the other side of the bathroom. Get ready for a lot of noise every time someone operates the elevator.

08/03/2026: Since the change of management last December, it's much better in every way. Friendly welcome, unusual but very good (homemade) food, open 7 days a week and original Far West decor.

Excellent meat from different breeds, sourced from French producers 🇨🇵 of course 🤩, and delicious, hearty burgers to satisfy any appetite!! Small, medium, regular, or maxi!! 😂 But that's not all! There's also an excellent cod fillet fish and chips for those who enjoy that too 🤗 and other dishes to discover!! Everything is homemade: meat carving, marinades, sauces, and desserts. You'll be welcomed by a charming couple, Cheyenne and Gaëtan, who recently took over the place and have carefully transformed it to reflect their own style. You can stroll through this village with its various shops, artists, the Maison de Colette, and more. Need some fresh air? Come to this village where everything is unique and the atmosphere is timeless. The locals and shopkeepers are friendly and welcoming. I won't tell you everything, it'll be a surprise 🤗 A must-see ✨

25/10/2025: Dinner with family and friends. A disaster from start to finish. 16 out of 18 people ordered the daily special. A 1.5-hour wait for starters... the main course was served 45 minutes later, less than lukewarm. Mediocre quality. Almost no desserts left. Unfriendly waiter. In short, a first...but a last!

16/09/2025: After an hour's drive without finding an open restaurant, we discovered this welcoming inn. Little choice, but what's on offer is homemade and delicious. Very fast service, as requested. The village, typical of Burgundy, is worth a visit. Definitely worth a visit.

16/03/2026: On Monday, at 8 a.m., we went to eat. Choose your seat carefully or you'll end up with a stiff neck (photo 6). For salads like the warm goat cheese salad or the Maréchaux salad, don't eat the cured ham, which seemed a bit stale. The two Époisses cheese pastries were very good, though a little oily (photo 5). €15.50 for four ravioli and a watered-down sauce? Avoid this place (photo 4). The beef cheeks (photo 3) were delicious, but the fries (as with all the other dishes) were hard (I nearly lost a tooth). The burger (photo 2) was delicious. The flank steak (photo 1), however, was rather dry for a medium-rare dish. The grilled ham (photo 7) wasn't grilled enough, but the sauce was good. If you want to drink something, forget the free water, which tastes like bleach; opt for the apricot juice instead.
