25/01/2026: Since the change of ownership, Café Jules is completely transformed. The atmosphere is cozier, the clientele is much better, and the food is better too.

25/01/2026: Wow. It was a drizzling sunday, most of the restaurants were already closed, felt like the city was falling asleep. But this place was open, with such welcoming attitude. I didnt want to eat pizza or burgers, so the menu was tempting. I chose a drink (oh yeah, happened to be a happy hour) and kefta skewer. And it was soooo good! After that I tried a sweet beer and dessert. The waiter brought me a french toast. My sunday couldnt be better. Thanks

22/08/2025: Accommodated six of us despite us arriving very late for lunch (nearly 2pm). Incredibly friendly and attentive staff. Prepared two custom dishes for picky eaters who didn’t want what was on the menu. Good food and amazing home-made desserts.

17/08/2025: We have never eaten there yet, but we often come for a drink with family or friends. The welcome is really pleasant and we have a great time.

19/01/2026: A very pleasant establishment with a lovely atmosphere. The menu is extensive. Homemade...okay, it says so right there. The fondue, etc., was very good, but the steak frites...not really. The portion was too small, and the hamburger patty was homemade...I doubt it. The starters were good, the desserts were okay. The prices are reasonable, and it's just a stone's throw from the castle.

17/01/2026: The chicken thigh had a strange taste! The inside was red, like it wasn't cooked enough. That might explain the strange taste, I think! Otherwise, the rest looked very good! However, the bartender refused to give me the receipt!

30/11/2025: During my previous visits, I noticed a dead mouse on the bar counter (photo attached). I also saw mice moving around the establishment, particularly near the area where the platters are prepared. I'm simply sharing these observations because they raised concerns about hygiene.

10/08/2024: Disappointed with the restaurant We are told a sea salad Sardine shrimp salad I was thinking of prawns and grilled sardines And not peeled shrimp that we find vacuum packed and the sardines were sardines macerated in vinegar So not happy at all And for a high price 😡😡 Very disappointed ...........

19/06/2025: Always a warm welcome and a good range of beers and wine. Try the onglet de boeuf 🐂 yummy 🤤 The tropical IPA is a decent pint too. They show important live sporting events and the atmosphere is always a lot of fun.

Staff and owners are very welcoming with fast service and high quality French food. Le Village will provide you with whatever you need whether it’s a quick bite to eat, a pint or a nice French meal. Dog and child friendly and wheelchair accessible.

18/01/2026: The waiter with wrist braces was absolutely detestable. No kindness, no smile; he wasn't even friendly when taking our bill. Sorry to all the other waiters.

20/01/2026: After our company restaurant in Vélizy closed, and having tried all the restaurants in Vélizy, I discovered this one. It's good, welcoming, professional, and very reasonably priced. I go there almost every day now.

22/12/2024: I'll try, as always, to be as objective as possible... The restaurant is located under a building on the edge of the D91. The owner wanted a very green decor with wood umbrellas and brown benches; it will take a lot of imagination to get away from it all. The faux leather benches are all torn and taped, which takes away from the overall charm... Our table was wobbly. I reported it and asked for a small wedge. Nothing was done! A wide selection of sweet and savory crepes, a little dry for our taste. They're good, but not surprising! Expect to pay around twenty euros per person for two crepes and a coffee drink... the service was fast the evening of our visit... Why not enjoy a crepe with colleagues for lunch or dinner? For a nice evening with family or friends, look elsewhere...

08/11/2025: Friendly place, chef's special: Bertrand. We had mussels and fries with homemade mayonnaise 👍, followed by a homemade apple tart. Everything was delicious. A place I'll definitely return to. 👏

08/09/2024: We were lucky to discover the veranda. It's exactly what we were looking for, a very friendly, privatized restaurant, with good quality food and services that lived up to or even more than our expectations. I will certainly return to taste all the dishes on the menu, because when you love the cuisine, you look for even better elsewhere and at La Veranda, you will be in the right place. The prices are well worth the quality and for us it is well deserved the 5 stars, thanking the waitresses and the owner very much.
