07/06/2026: There's not much going right. The decor is falling apart, the glass partition is held up with corks and the sharp edge is visible. The wallpaper is peeling. The chairs are wobbly and I had to change mine because it wobbled so much. The same goes for the table next to me, which had to be re-chaired as soon as I arrived. The ribeye steak? Medium? Nope, it was like shoe leather and way too peppery despite asking for "no sauce." The side salad was probably straight from a bag and the heavy dressing drowned the poor salad. The burger? The steak wasn't great. The desserts? The homemade tiramisu is mostly mascarpone and two meager cakes at the bottom. A shame, it had potential! The service is friendly but chaotic: greeted by one man, poured a carafe of wine by another, poured another carafe of wine... oh wait, there's already one! The order is taken by a woman. The young man is polite but speaks too fast, I can't understand him... It's a shame, the place is nice.

The waiter was very friendly, attentive, and always smiling. Excellent value for money, €37 for a starter, main course, and dessert. Given the quality of the food, I really expected to pay more. I will definitely be back. The only thing missing, I would say, was some background music. Thank you again for your warm welcome and for the wonderful meal.

14/04/2026: A truly beautiful, intimate place that gently transports you back in time. The food is absolutely delicious, made with fresh, homemade ingredients. The beef cheek is braised to perfection. The service is relaxed; you should take the time to savor this convivial moment in this lovely, warm dining room. We'll definitely be back to try the small outdoor courtyard when the weather is nicer...

25/05/2026: Excellent value for money! The setting is magnificent. We were lucky enough to have lunch on the terrace, as the weather was lovely. The service was friendly and professional, and some of the dishes were original and delicious. It's worth noting that the menu features Yolin, a specialty from the Yvelines region, as a starter. We highly recommend it.

15/05/2026: A very pleasant surprise in this small village. A very warm welcome, excellent food, and a lovely menu with both classic and original dishes. A truly beautiful place.

14/06/2026: The setting was beautiful, but the experience was very disappointing. The drinks were subpar: the hazelnut coffee was too strong and served in a small cup, the extra milk was a ridiculously small amount, and the cappuccino was very bland, almost watery. The waffles, despite being listed among the cheapest options, weren't available. Considering the prices, it's clearly not worth it. If you're in the Paris region, or even in the Yvelines department (78), you'll easily find better options elsewhere, with better service and often for less money.

08/06/2026: This time, I was disappointed by the food: the eggs were not soft-boiled but almost hard-boiled, and the crème brûlée was old, with dried-out cream.

12/05/2026: Terrible service! The short, bespectacled waiter (who's quite burly) is barely friendly! I've been a customer for years. And the rare times he serves me, I always get the same feeling! Dirty restrooms! The young owner is always friendly, though. The older bartender doesn't know how to greet his regular customers. And he lacks a smile... Gentlemen, please refrain from speaking so loudly when expressing your concerns about working conditions. My advice... change careers!

31/05/2026: We had lunch at the restaurant for Mother's Day; the decor is nice. The garden is pleasant. The food is very good; we each ordered the set menu (starter/main/dessert) for €49. However, the service was a disaster. There was no follow-up on our table (five people were assigned to our table), the service was haphazard (two of us ordered the same starter, yet one was missing a lemon), we had specified that we would be ordering wine for the aperitif and the meal... the bottle arrived halfway through the starter, and during the clearing, a knife fell on my clothes. To reduce the wait, it's requested that desserts be ordered at the beginning of the meal, but they don't follow through at all, and finally, paying was a hassle. In short, the food and the setting are great, but the service is not worth the price.

The terrace is truly pleasant and peaceful, perfect for working quietly while enjoying a real break. A really nice little spot for those looking for a coffee in Neauphle-le-Château to relax in between meetings. The welcome is impeccable, the service is quick and friendly. I even had the chance to chat with the owner, a passionate man who shared the history of the place with me… and that makes all the difference. And then… a special mention for the aroma wafting from the kitchen! The simmering beef bourguignon definitely made me want to come back and try the menu! If you’re looking for a friendly café in Neauphle-le-Château, with a pleasant terrace, an authentic local atmosphere, and mouthwatering food, head straight to Café des Sports. I recommend it 100%, whether it's for a coffee, lunch, or even working in peace and quiet.
