17/06/2026: A VERY English pub, they import all their beers from England having said that, the lagers are served cold ❄️ 👍 but rather lifeless aka flat 🙄 , I was lucky and hit it a happy hour

17/05/2026: Absolutely awful experience. We ordered the French onion soup and it arrived in a huge pot that was barely 1/4 full. That should have been the first warning sign. After our entrees, we sat there for OVER AN HOUR waiting for our main courses while our waiter completely ignored us. He spent all his time with other tables while we were left sitting there wondering where our food was. As two small girls, it honestly felt like we were easy to dismiss and not worth paying attention to. We felt completely disrespected. The worst part was when the waiter finally came back to our table, he asked if we wanted dessert or coffee — completely forgetting that our main meals had NEVER EVEN ARRIVED. When we went to pay, they were still ready to charge us for the mains we never received. No apology, no accountability, nothing. That level of incompetence is unbelievable. We also noticed a couple seated next to us leave because it took so long just to get menus. Clearly we were not the only people having a horrible experience. I genuinely do not understand how this place has such a high rating. One of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. So many better places in Bordeaux with excellent food and service. Do not recommend.

17/05/2026: Very good food! Would recommend! Confit du Canard and bouef bourguignon were our favourites - super tasty and tender. Onion soup was good, but nothing special, mostly considering the price. Overall would recommend and come back!

28/06/2026: Always a warm welcome, friendly servers, and a great atmosphere. The food is truly delicious. The tapas are excellent, with a special mention for the squid, spring rolls, and gyozas… a real treat! The music is fantastic, the atmosphere is friendly and festive. We always come with good humor, jokes, and energy, and the staff always responds with a smile, making the evenings even more enjoyable. A great restaurant and dance bar where we always return with pleasure, guaranteed to share a good time!

19/07/2026: A very good lunch break. The savory crepes were generously filled and made fresh. The welcome and service were pleasant. However, it would be much better from a hygiene standpoint to add the ice cubes using a large spoon, rather than your hands. I'm just mentioning it because I saw it being done, but otherwise, no complaints. A little clarification for Olga, the Breton: Buckwheat flour and black wheat flour are the same thing 🤪

14/05/2026: Our first visit as a couple to discover Réunion cuisine, and we weren't disappointed. The dishes were homemade and excellent. Our second visit with the whole family was also a great success—it was a real treat! Come and support this restaurant, which deserves much more recognition and is clearly run with passion. 12/05/2026: We came for dinner as a group of four and we really enjoyed the food. The massalé was excellent, we highly recommend it. The samosas were great too. We'll be back.

26/06/2026: A wide variety of sandwiches and options where you choose everything from the type of bread to the toppings. Really good.

18/06/2026: First time eating at Subway! The server gave me great advice, explained the concept and the available options, and it was delicious, very filling, and really satisfying! I'm so happy. Eating makes you happy, and I ate well, so I'm happy. The server was very kind, welcoming, and pleasant (I don't know your name, you have long hair in a bun, but thank you for this experience :)). 28/06/2026: I was craving dessert, something refreshing. So, frozen yogurt. Honestly, if you have the space, I think you should try their bubble waffles or the mini pancakes with unlimited toppings because they keep adding more and more and are really generous with the portions. For me, the yogurt was delicious. It's a shame we were only passing through. But I'll definitely keep the address in mind.

16/07/2026: My friends and I came for dinner and to watch the match on July 14th. I wanted to commend the professionalism of the staff who were attentive to our needs, kept track of our orders, and ensured our comfort despite the exceptional circumstances (the restaurant was very crowded). It was lovely to see waitresses who always kept a smile on their faces!

06/07/2026: Loved this place. Staff was amazing. There was a family next to us, and the wait staff was incredibly kind to the children. 10/10, no notes.

01/06/2026: The starters and pizzas were very good, with reasonable prices. However, the service was disappointing. The servers seemed disorganized even though the restaurant was far from full. Several things were forgotten during the meal, we had to ask for certain items repeatedly, and the wait was quite long. A few details also contributed to a bad impression: the beer glass was chipped and the "Reserved" sign was particularly dirty. It's a shame, because the quality of the food was excellent.

02/07/2026: I come regularly for the beef tartare because I trust the quality of the product. I had the pleasure of discovering the chocolate mousse with chocolate and salted butter cookie crumbles—pure bliss. The staff is friendly. The only downside is to avoid tables near the terrace door in winter because every time the door opens, you're enveloped in an icy chill. I recommend it.

20/06/2026: Honestly, this is our second visit. I would have given a 5-star review for the first time. The servers, Ismael and Cédric, were perfect. What a pleasure to have such pleasant, sincere, and honest people offering advice. Their smiles were simply delightful. It was truly a great experience, and we'll be back as soon as we can! The wine is good, the dishes vary, and they're always delicious. I highly recommend it. Thank you.

10/07/2026: Last night, we spent the evening with friends for a birthday, and although we hadn't ordered a cake in time, a waiter, Vic, and the cook (whose name escapes me) were amazing in allowing my sister to blow out her candles by making us two small tarts at the last minute! Thank you to them for their kindness and professionalism!!! And what's more, the atmosphere of this place is fantastic!!!!

07/07/2026: On our stay in the Bordeaux area my son wanted to do a bit of bouldering (his fav sport), and we came to Block out. Even though it was very hot outright, and their airco couldn't really keep up, it was a good experience. Nice dynamic settings and a good experience.
