25/08/2026: The coffee is disastrously bad. Three people work there, but the service is even worse than the coffee. Don't bother going.

20/08/2026: Nice bar. You do have to move to be served, but at least you don't have to flag down a waiter and you pay immediately. Good selection of draft beers, especially the Gasconia. Nice wine list. Friendly staff and a large terrace.

29/07/2026: Hello, We used Charlie & Tom for a company lunch held during our onboarding seminars for the employees of our Nuances agencies. All of our employees gave us excellent feedback on the service we chose. For a lunch in a meeting room, we opted for the "Cagettes" package for a group of 11 people. Throughout our discussions, we felt listened to and advised. The result was a success. We highly recommend the service provided by Charlie & Tom. We will definitely use them again when the opportunity arises. Thank you.

01/09/2026: I feel compelled to leave one star to share this unfortunate experience… The servers only smile when you pay them. My friend's pint of beer was served with no head at all and was less than 50cl. And the gin fizz? Don't even get me started… The terrace was littered with cigarette butts, and we were seated at dirty tables with overflowing ashtrays. Walk 10 meters; you'll find better seats.

The dishes were both delicious and generous, the staff attentive and very helpful, and the atmosphere, after wandering the streets of Bordeaux, was a haven of peace. Of course, I'll have to come back; there's still so much to discover on the menu 😋. Thank you 🙏

11/08/2026: A duck breast drowned in sauce to hide the fact that the duck... simply has no taste. As for the steak tartare, same principle: lots of seasonings because the beef... has no flavor 😅. It's not expensive, but you don't even get your money's worth. Keep walking, folks.

10/08/2026: The atmosphere was very pleasant, the food delicious. We opted for the set menu, which offered eight options and came with salad and fries—very generous portions. Very good price, 17 euros plus drinks. The waiter realized we spoke Spanish and immediately stopped speaking French. A lovely experience, I highly recommend it! I'll be back.

03/09/2026: Note: I've only been there once. I thought it was a great place for climbing; the walls have varying levels of difficulty, making it both fun and challenging. There's a small climbing wall. You can rent climbing shoes for €4.50. There are changing rooms with hairdryers, showers, and toilets (which were clean, perhaps because I went in the morning and finished when it was busier). The cafeteria was packed; people seemed to be having a great time, and the food looked delicious.

05/08/2026: We took a trial lesson for our children. I sincerely recommend this instructor 100%! The teacher was incredibly kind, patient, and adapted to the children. We were warmly welcomed from beginning to end. Thank you so much for the children. We will be back!

16/08/2026: Terrible toilets, even though it was morning. I repeatedly asked for water for one person at our table (the others ordered cocktails), and it never arrived. I asked for an Americano, specifying no coffee, but a double espresso arrived...

08/08/2026: The restaurant is located right in the city center, just behind the little bell. The service is excellent, and even if they don't offer what you want, the waitress immediately finds a compromise. I highly recommend it. Idyllic setting.

Everything was perfect: the large coffee with cream on the terrace, the freshly squeezed orange juice, and especially the Breakfast Egg Toast, which was simply INCREDIBLE! A real treat! Special mention to our waitress, who was lovely from beginning to end. Despite a full terrace and a large crowd, she managed everything perfectly, always with a smile and genuine kindness. It truly makes all the difference. Thank you to her for this wonderful experience; we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and had a fantastic time thanks to her warm welcome. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back with my wife! See you soon!

21/08/2026: We want to especially highlight that the food is excellent, the portions are generous, and the service is very friendly, but above all, we want to thank them for the fact that, obviously by mistake, they forgot our adult dishes yesterday when we ate with our three children. The children ate very well, but almost an hour later we were still waiting. As soon as we pointed out that this wasn't normal, they realized. They served the food, which was very late, and it was excellent. The bill didn't include charges for the adult dishes or the wines we ordered to accompany them. We greatly appreciate the apology and the thoughtful gesture. Anyone can make a mistake, but this kind of consideration isn't common everywhere. Thank you very much. Highly recommended!

27/08/2026: After our lunch experience, we came for dinner. The place is understated and elegant, the welcome warm. Lovely cuisine with perfectly balanced flavors, and for dessert, a surprising eggplant and lemon dish. We recommend it.
