07/07/2026: A small, very discreet restaurant offering excellent local cuisine. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious, home-style cooking; the staff were incredibly friendly and explained each dish to us. If you're in Colmar, I highly recommend this Wistub. Be aware, however, that the dining room is quite small, so it might be wise to book in advance if you want to be sure of getting a table.
04/07/2026: Excellent Alsatian cuisine. Very friendly and attentive service. I would definitely plan to go there again on my next visit.

06/06/2026: We took a pastry to go here and ate it on a bench outside, and it was maybe one of the best pastries I've ever had! Very fresh, real vanilla, absolutely lovely. Highly reccomend getting it!
06/06/2026: A hen party happened to stop by; they offered a drink to the bride, and the atmosphere was great.

12/05/2026: I visited around 7:30 in the morning to buy bread for breakfast. I bought a croissant, a chocolat, and a boucho. The in-room dining at my Airbnb was delicious.

29/06/2026: A good option for breakfast outdoors; we went two mornings in a row.
Prices are quite reasonable (for example, €2 for a large slice of bread with blueberry jam).
Service is a bit inconsistent; the servers are very pleasant, but you can have to wait a while if you feel neglected, even though it's usually very quiet.

The menu is small, but that's reassuring regarding the quality of the ingredients.
Incredible taste and seasoning.
Generous portion.

Great location!
Prices are a bit high, but that's probably the case all over Colmar.
Service definitely has room for improvement – you have to actively wave to the waiters for every (re)order, even when empty glasses are being cleared away.
01/07/2026: Very well located in the old part of Colmar. Very cozy little terrace with plenty of space between the tables. Very friendly and helpful staff all around. Very tasty food, nice selection. Highly recommended!

06/03/2026: Now this I did not expect at this budget. Gorgeous place! Simple and great.
The menu straight forward with one option, that of the day. Ours was a juicy, nicely grilled steak with a piece of bone marrow, and some potatoes. Maybe a bit light on the salad with just a leaf of parsley. Portions, huge! Could barely eat it all.
Very quick and friendly service.
Can't recommend more... Thank you for a great evening even if we could not stay very long.

08/06/2026: Came here with my boyfriend for a date night in Colmar. Great food, pork cheek was melting in my mouth, and the cream of asparagus, I could drink a whole bowl! Old man serving us was very polite and friendly, he recommended a great golden Gewurtztraminer wine! Service was a bit slow, that’s the only thing I’ll say!
03/06/2026: The Michelin Green Guide recommended this establishment, and the menu looked quite tempting, so I headed to Maison Rouge for dinner (it's best to book, especially during peak season). The salmon was delicious, accompanied by a sauce that perfectly complemented it. The wine, a Gamay, recommended by a smiling and humorous woman, was also an excellent choice. I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner and the time I spent in this restaurant, despite the heatwave.

12/06/2026: Good Italian restaurant on the outskirts of Colmar. We hadn’t booked but there were plenty of tables. Mainly French customers in a relaxed atmosphere. We had a huge mixed salad to start to share with pasta and pizza for main course. All excellent and large portions. No alcohol free beer so had a Perrier instead. Friendly staff and would definitely go again

Passing through Colmar, we arrived as a group of 20.
The service was impeccable, the servers were pleasant, and the pizza and other dishes were very good and well presented. The welcome for 20 people without a reservation was fantastic.

29/06/2026: A small but charming place. The food is simple but delicious; it's worth stopping by to try one of the croquettes or pasta dishes. The staff were very attentive and friendly, and although they don't speak Spanish or English, they make a great effort to understand you. I highly recommend this place if you're spending a few days in Colmar. Thank you for everything.

04/01/2026: By far the best food we’ve had on our trip around Europe in the past 2 weeks. Arriving at the restaurant itself at night through the vineyards alone was already a uniquely fun experience. Their braised ham was cooked to absolute perfection(well worth the extra wait required), the black angus steak was also juicy and perfectly flavoured… If this was located in a touristy part of town they’d have 2 hour lineups for sure, but I sure am glad that this is a hidden gem.
22/12/2025: The best surprises are often the ones you stumble upon by chance.
Discovered on my way back from the Colmar market, trying to escape the tourist traps and crowds. A lovely time spent enjoying traditional home-style cooking and professional, efficient service.
Looking forward to returning next time.

12/12/2025: Centrally located in Colmar, it's also great to dine outside during the Christmas markets, immersed in the atmosphere.
Super friendly service. The food is just average, fine.
Please keep a closer eye on the restrooms. Some people apparently don't know how a restroom works these days 😉.

The food was good and the service was quick and friendly.
Admittedly, it was crowded and there was a queue for a table, but that's to be expected at this time of year.
