24/08/2025: Biggest draw for us on a 34C blazingly sunny day last week as a group of six (including a child) was the price plus Google ratings.
The parlour itself is just a small unassuming window and easy to miss if not for the crowds in front.
The price per scoop is amazingly affordable depending on the flavour <€2+. Excellent value for delicious, super-generously sized portions in a cone. The ice cream is made locally, and this reflects in the creamy yet refreshing quality which is certainly very good. Not sickly sweet or artificial tasting.
Almost on par in taste with some great well-rated ice cream parlours around Covent Garden, London, but at a fraction of the price.
Worth the queueing. The popularity is justified. Would seek it out if ever revisiting Colmar.

12/12/2025: Centrally located in Colmar, it's also great to dine outside during the Christmas markets, immersed in the atmosphere.
Super friendly service. The food is just average, fine.
Please keep a closer eye on the restrooms. Some people apparently don't know how a restroom works these days 😉.

The food was good and the service was quick and friendly.
Admittedly, it was crowded and there was a queue for a table, but that's to be expected at this time of year.

18/12/2024: We were greeted by the boss, who was simply odious. There were a lot of us and we didn't have reservations. He had room but told us loudly so they could hear that those behind us in line wouldn't be happy given the number of us. Honestly, it's anything but our problem ;) He didn't even say goodbye to us when we left, great! On the other hand, the server was adorable and patient.
The food was good, be careful they charge €7 extra if you only take one starter (it's indicated on the menu so no surprises) even though it is ridiculously small!

12/09/2024: Nothing special. The seats are very narrow and small. Service not particularly friendly. You actually feel like you're in a typical tourist restaurant. Food was mediocre. Potato gratin loveless and undercooked. Meat portion small. Tiramisu very small and watery, way too much cocoa and expensive

11/12/2025: In the bathroom there is no toilet paper or clean reusable towels, just a tiny towel for all customers to clean their hands, which is poor hygiene on a busy day. The price is excessive for the quality-price ratio, and the care taken in explaining the service to customers is also not good. I am a bariatric patient and don't eat a full meal, so I share a plate with my 5-year-old daughter. I was forced to order two plates or I would have to leave! That means half the food goes to waste! Lack of sensitivity! A beautiful and charming restaurant, it may have a reputation, but they are not respectful!
07/12/2025: A warm and very friendly welcome! We were greeted with smiles and good cheer, despite arriving late, especially during the Christmas market season.
Homemade and absolutely delicious dishes!

I asked for a quarter of rosé wine, the waitress brought me 1 glass! I ask again and I receive a quarter of “hot” rosé wine! Inadmissible.
The 🥙 vegan kebab arrived without the cutlery! 7-8 minutes to get cutlery! Unacceptable the kebab was cold 🥶
Finally, the restaurant still does not accept lunch voucher cards! Inadmissible
The dishes served are of good quality 😉

11/01/2025: I was there by chance today, pleasant setting, very good quality of dishes we ate vegetable lasagna, it was excellent served with a well seasoned salad, the bread is also very good (fresh baguettes), the only small downside, the lasagna was a little off temperature, but I don't hold it against that,
28/12/2024: Very good meal and remarkable service, we were very well advised, so satisfied that we left with some products to take away, pâté en croute (excellent), pizza and tiramisu. An address to remember.

02/12/2025: By far the best crêpes I‘ve ever had! They’re very well made and don‘t have that cheap flavor like most other crêpes. The price is also very good!
I can especially recommend the nutella banana crêpe!😋
19/07/2025: Crepe was not cooked long enough, dough was still raw, had to go back for it to be cooked again and it was still bad.

07/08/2024: Good food - we had pasta dishes - at resonable price. We visited on a very busy evening, but the service was good. We really appreciated the visit and can only recommend this restaurant. Very central, but not old town centre busy:)
