22/08/2026: It is sad that regular customers are pushed back for tourist groups. Although tables were available they did not want to accommodate us with the children. Thank you and never coming back again.

22/08/2026: We chose plain tarte flambée. And they were very plain indeed: few onions, few bacon bits (perhaps that's their recipe), with a green salad from the Buffalo Grill and a store-bought dressing. For dessert, we had a blueberry tart that wasn't to our liking either; we're still trying to figure out the blueberry flavor (it smelled like water). Special mention goes to the wines, which were excellent, and to our server, Ryan.

25/07/2026: Expensive for what it is, and especially never any sauce, and this happened several times in a row... service needs improvement...

30/08/2026: We visited Jardin et Gourmande in Colmar and had a wonderful time! 😊 The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was incredibly friendly and attentive. You can tell that the food is prepared with love and that the staff truly cares about their guests. The value for money is also excellent – ​​delicious food at fair prices. 👍 We will definitely be back and highly recommend Jardin et Gourmande! ❤️

28/08/2026: This rainy morning we were looking for somewhere to have breakfast and found this lovely little place right in the center of Colmar. They served us delicious coffees and croissants. We ordered a second round of coffees, and each time they were served beautifully! I highly recommend it!!

30/08/2026: Excellent service and a lovely place!

28/08/2026: Very disappointed with our evening. And yet we usually go to this place on our way back from vacation. First of all, we had to ask for our order. Then my wife got her dish and I had to ask again. As a result, I ate alone since my wife had already finished. And the dish (hot roll) I ordered for €19.50 was really not great; if there were 30 grams of meat, that was about it. And to top it off, a small 33cl bottle of sparkling water cost €3.50. The final bill, including two cocktails, two main courses, two beers, and water, came to €62. In Italy, we ate for six with one bottle of wine, four large bottles of water, a large charcuterie board with antipasti, plates of pasta with porcini mushrooms and truffle, and the final bill was €129. The only positive point is the friendly owner.

30/07/2026: I just wanted a water, I wanted to pay on the spot, just a glass of water to go. But I got nothing.

20/07/2026: Excellent lunch in a pleasant, green setting, apart from a slight noise from the nearby motorway. The staff were friendly and efficient. We enjoyed a set menu of starter, main course, and dessert around a barbecue on the terrace with an all-you-can-eat side buffet. We ordered pork ribs and flank steak. The meat was of very high quality. A wonderful discovery. We will be back.

22/07/2026: We arrived with a full wallet and an empty stomach. It was not possible to order the plat du jour. Only items from the menu that were twice as expensive. Doesn't matter, after all, we brought a full wallet. I saw others around me who did have one. It took a long time before the waitress came to take our order. While we were ordering in English, she just walked away. That can happen, of course. A while later she came back. In the meantime, we had both been to the toilet. It was dirty, by the way, but that is beside the point. And again, she walked away while taking the order. That was the last straw. When we stood up, she suddenly came back and wanted 2 euros for using the toilet. Don't go here. We are no longer used to this kind of inhospitability in France.

22/07/2026: Visit during the World Cup semi-final. We must highlight the absolutely remarkable professionalism of our waitress, Camille, who looked after us during the World Cup semi-final. We were seated quickly. The evening was extremely intense for the teams. The restaurant was packed, the atmosphere electric. Yet, despite this large crowd, Camille demonstrated impressive calm, efficiency, and composure. She remained available, responsive, and smiling despite the event. Her orders were taken quickly and accurately, the service was seamless, and her attitude was always warm. Well done, Camille! We will be back and hope to see you again. Congratulations to the entire team for managing the evening so well. Thank you, Camille, for making our evening so enjoyable. A super friendly waitress, absolutely fantastic!

05/08/2026: Present on the FAV professionally. I found this establishment, which doesn't look like much from the outside. Parking is tricky but not impossible. Superb welcome, quick order taking, and very responsive staff. Tasty and generous portions. Thank you all.

09/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! This restaurant is far from the city center and the crowds. A warm welcome, excellent flammekueche, a modern twist on the hamburger, blackberry tart, and crème brûlée—all homemade, delicious, and flavorful! A must-try!

10/07/2026: Thursday, July 2, 2026 The hotel is very well located, just a few minutes' walk from Colmar city center. Excellent hotel. A perfect overnight stay. Pleasant room and spotless, nothing to complain about. Magical indoor pool. Pleasant welcome. The staff is great, both day and night. The breakfast is generous. 05/09/2026: We asked for vegetarian options. They charged us the full price of the main dishes and removed the meat. There was still some meat on the plate. There was no apology, replacement or reduction. It was a very expensive, not very good meal. The waitress was kind and said the owner would make no concessions. Wasn't a nice experience but it was a nice place to sit near the old market.

05/09/2026: A wonderful discovery! After being turned away from every restaurant in the city center, the owner welcomed us despite the late hour, and we ended up having a lovely time. We'll be back!

15/08/2026: An exceptional address in Colmar. An absolute must-try! There are restaurants where you have a wonderful time… and then there are those you're still talking about days later. JY'S undoubtedly belongs to the latter category. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the restaurant's ambiance: a magnificent, elegant, and welcoming decor, where every detail seems to have been meticulously considered. Nothing is left to chance, right down to the tableware and cutlery, which are true extensions of the dining experience. The service is on par with the cuisine: professional, attentive, and elegant, but never intrusive. This perfect balance is particularly appreciated in an establishment of this caliber. And the food… wow! Everything is incredibly precise, with flavors that complement each other, perfectly mastered textures, and an ability to surprise without ever losing its equilibrium. But if there's one dish that will stay with us for a long time, it's undoubtedly the stuffed cabbage with lobster. A true marvel. I don't think I'm still reeling from that dish… A dish as surprising as it was delicate, and above all, incredibly delicious. We also had the pleasure of chatting with the chef, Jean-Yves Schillinger, a moment we truly enjoyed. An approachable, warm chef with a great sense of humor… and clearly a penchant for teasing the locals of Eguisheim. Bravo to the entire JY'S team for this magnificent evening. Behind the excellence and precision of a great establishment, there are personalities, spontaneity, and a genuine soul. A remarkable gastronomic experience, a sublime setting, exceptional cuisine, and impeccable service. We left with smiles on our faces… and above all, with a burning desire to return.

07/08/2026: Our second visit to JY’S, and our first impression was completely confirmed! A remarkable establishment in every way: the welcome, the ambiance, the quality of the food, the service… Everything was perfect! A refined and flawless experience that truly deserves to be highlighted. A huge congratulations to the Chef and his entire team for this magnificent work. We will definitely be back!

11/03/2026: It's a lovely shop with helpful staff. You can choose it to try different teas, take a break, and warm up. Seating is limited, but we were very pleased with both the teas we tried and the atmosphere; I recommend it.

13/10/2025: Super sweet shop with lovely owner and staff. Favorite was Le Toit du Monde (?). It was very reasonably priced and you get plenty of we ordered a few and shared to try. Recommend on a chilly day for sure!

21/08/2026: Fabulous restaurant! We went for both lunch and dinner, trying different dishes. What can I say? Excellent food, friendly staff, and very clean rooms!
