01/12/2024: Nice place. The price is good and the tarte flambée is quite tasty. Unfortunately during the Christmas period the whole city is full of people and the queue to get a table is long. However, the staff was all the time super nice and helpful and it was worthy to wait.

08/12/2025: Chez Moi is a bar where you immediately feel at ease. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The cocktails are excellent, the prices are reasonable, and the service is genuinely warm... you feel like you're being welcomed like a regular, even on your first visit. A simple, welcoming place that you'll want to return to.

04/03/2026: Stopped for lunch with a colleague. The sandwich sizes were ridiculously small. The price per kilo would be exorbitant. They used margarine instead of butter and grated Gruyère instead of Emmental.

15/02/2026: We walked into this place with confidence and left deeply disappointed. The pizza served was heavily burnt, with a completely charred base and a bitter taste that made it inedible. This wasn't just a few oven spots—it was clearly overcooked to the point that we were practically left without dinner. A 50% discount cannot be presented as a favor. When a product is served in such a condition, it is simply the bare minimum. A situation like this should not happen at all. We walked into this restaurant with confidence and left deeply disappointed. The pizza served was heavily burnt, with a completely charred base and a bitter taste that made it inedible. These weren't just minor cooking marks, but a clearly botched cooking process, to the point that we were practically left without dinner. A 50% discount cannot be presented as a favor. When a product is served in this state, it is simply the bare minimum. A situation like this should not happen.

16/02/2026: What a pleasant surprise to find such a welcoming place! The staff were incredibly friendly from the moment we arrived. The menu offered a varied and very tempting selection. We appreciated the diversity of the dishes available; there truly was something for everyone. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good restaurant.

18/02/2026: I confess, we went there with real concerns regarding the place after reading the reviews, but as it was situated right in front of our flat, we said, let's give it a chance. And we didn't regret at all. The sitting was perfect, right onto the roofed deck with the best views to the canal, the traditional food was amazingly delicious (the bone marrow was a bliss!), the service was excellent, very friendly and kind, they didn't rush us at all, we had a decent Riesling wine. The quality - price balance was very good. At the end we reached a conclusion: the restaurant is placed in an extremely touristy area and probably sometimes the clients are annoyed by expecting to be treated like royalties in a very traditional, unpretentious restaurant, which of course is not happening. This type of frustrated clients lead the stuff to get grumpy and probably treat everyone badly. I think going there with a smile on your faces and be polite and understanding with the hard work of the stuff is the be way to receive a friendly service in return. This is how we did and it was a fantastic experience. Thank you.

15/02/2026: I got sick during the night after dinner. The side dishes were sparse (two tiny carrots and about ten peas with the beef). We waited an hour and a half between the appetizer and the main course because the waiter forgot. Overall, very mediocre; I don't recommend it.

01/12/2025: One of the best. A super large döner sandwich, for a great price. Very tasty and fullfilling. You never want it to finish. Staff were very welcoming and nice. You can also see them cooking everything right in front of you. I recommend everyone near by to give them a try.

27/01/2026: my experience at jy’s was very disappointing, to say the least. let me start by saying that this was my introduction to french fine dining, so there may be a knowledge gap here. the food was cooked with precision and technique, and was all plated beautifully. unfortunately though, each dish lacked one major component: salt! i found most of the dishes to be extraordinarily bland, and i can say it was my first time that i simply couldn’t finish some of the dishes in a michelin starred meal. my least favorites were the scallop course and the chicken course, both were extremely bland. although, salt could be found in the broth served with the scallop, but it was way too much! it was almost like salt water. another bite that i couldn’t finish was the chef’s interpretation of a salad during the amuse bouche. i found it to have an unpleasant, slimy texture and a bitter taste. any vegetables served with the courses were just simply steamed, and still lacked and seasoning. i can safely say that each course could’ve been saved if it was all just seasoned better. the highlight of the meal for me was dessert, wonderfully plated and delightful flavors. in the end still, i can only say that i regret my experience at jy’s. while the service was helpful, the ambiance was nice, and each dish definitely proved technique and precision, the lack of flavor more or less completely ruined the meal for me.

28/12/2025: An experience not to be missed due to the dedication from the service team and culinary execution by the chefs. From the aperitif to the dessert, familiar flavors yet coming together refreshing and pleasantly surprising. This fine establishment accommodated our child with kindness and graciousness which is rare in fine dining. Very thankful to the chef and his team who are prepared to accommodate my child so that my wife and I can enjoy this experience.

25/01/2026: This place is filthy and dishonest. I wanted to compare two different Pinot Gris for an aperitif, so I ordered a glass each of the 2016 (9.2€ per glass) and the 2018 (4.2€ per glass). When the glasses arrived, my mother took a sip of the 2016. I was about to take a sip, but I noticed a fly in it. I asked for a new one, but she said, "It's still alive, so it's fine. It's just swimming around," and tried to scoop it up with a spoon and return it. I protested, and they finally replaced it. My mother tried the new one and said it tasted different, so I tried it myself, and it was clearly the same as the cheaper 2018. However, even after I complained, they insisted it was the 2016, so I couldn't protest any further. Perhaps they knew I was a tourist and wouldn't be a repeat customer, but I ended up paying more than double the price for a regular Pinot Gris, which ruined the meal. I regret not leaving the moment they tried to give me the fly-infested wine.

04/01/2026: An impeccable gastronomic experience in the heart of Colmar. Excellent food, a perfectly elegant setting, and amazing service. The staff are the heart of the place: friendly, clear in their explanations, and masterful in pairings. A quality French dinner that I will fondly remember. A well-deserved five stars.

08/01/2026: A great restaurant with attentive, multilingual staff. At lunchtime, a set menu was offered, including an amuse-bouche. The food was very good; the portions were a bit small for my taste, but I was aware of this beforehand. The ambiance is lovely, and despite the slightly dated furnishings, everything feels cohesive and harmonious. A table by the window is highly recommended.

17/12/2025: It's rare that I force myself to eat a meal at a restaurant, but that's what happened this time. I don't know if the chef even tastes his food, but it was awful; I ate very poorly. The staff barely spoke French. And the wait was long… very long. And expensive. Very expensive. 130 euros for such a bad meal is really steep.
