29/08/2026: Excellent restaurant! The staff is ultra friendly, smiley and very accommodating. My waiter was Doumé, and he was a gem. Needless to say, the food was absolutely delicious and served without delay, and the scenery in front of the Vieux Port was beautiful. Highly recommended!

08/09/2026: We come to Corsica every year. Every year it gets worse. We used to go to this restaurant several times during our stays, but this year in two weeks, it was reduced to just one visit. Caesar salad with cold chicken (the waiter told me that's how we make it here... Yes, but in that case, don't put "crispy chicken" on the menu because when you serve it cold, it won't be crispy). Classic vinaigrette without anchovies. Croutons with a slightly rancid taste. Carpaccio swimming in a puddle of liquid at the bottom of the plates. Filthy toilets. Okay, you have a lot of customers, but please... clean the toilets from time to time during service, with the number of people you have. Broken tap, sink full of dirty water, probably because it was slightly clogged. The ice cream is very good; in fact, it's our mandatory stop after meals at your competitors' places.

20/09/2026: We wanted to have lunch in Cervione village, but it was very difficult to find a parking space. To our pleasant surprise, we found a spot near the Chalet restaurant. We received a very warm welcome from a young waitress, the meal was excellent, and the owner was very attentive. Very good value for money. We will definitely come back to try the pizzas. We highly recommend this restaurant. Top-notch, don't change a thing!

24/09/2026: So, Ras, that's all well and good, but you absolutely have to tell the chef or the sauce chef that beurre blanc isn't... well, what they're serving! A good reduction of shallots, white wine, vinegar, and then you finish with butter, guys... not this tasteless sauce that's lukewarm to boot! It's a basic principle in cooking... and if anything else, you don't walk around with a platter of fish at room temperature throughout the entire service... I doubt the freshness of the fish even if it's been rinsed with water and covered with a cloth! A simple thing to implement...

21/09/2026: A very good restaurant with excellent service. We dined with our feet in the sand (reservations required), then chose the catch of the day. A platter is brought to you from which you select your fish, and then the price is determined by the pouf. Everything else was truly excellent, with top-notch service. Of course, it comes at a price, but it's worth it.

11/08/2026: A restaurant (almost) at the end of the world, authentic and boasting a breathtaking panorama (I'm not exaggerating). Located at the tip of the cove bordering Algajola, its setting allows you to admire a beautiful sunset at dinnertime: you can watch it dip below the horizon, illuminating the sea and sky with colors that vary depending on the light, from soft pink to scarlet red, giving this place an evening charm. The service is impeccable, attentive, and extremely friendly; you are truly welcome. The menu is concise (which is a good sign), but the quality is high and approaches that of a gourmet restaurant in terms of its flavors. The revisited mille-feuille was a memorable experience. While not cheap, the value for money, service, and setting is exceptional. We highly recommend it, especially since we were served quickly without being forced to leave prematurely.

27/07/2026: A la Bottarga is a Bastia institution, and I've eaten there three times! Two lunches and one dinner, all of which I thoroughly enjoyed! I had the pleasure of meeting Séraphin and his family, who all work together to create sophisticated, original, and absolutely delicious cuisine! The stuffed mussels, the bottarga, the linguine, the tuna from Cap Corse (oh my goodness, the tuna!), we feasted from appetizer to dessert! And the team is fantastic; you feel welcome and valued, but without any pretension! I could spend hours there! Thank you to Séraphin and the entire team for this fabulous culinary experience! 09/09/2026: I don't usually leave reviews, but this one is worth it!! An unusual place, a wonderful, attentive, and passionate owner. Everything is homemade, simple, hearty, and delicious. One thing is for sure: you won't leave hungry!!!! So, all that's left is to go for a nice nap on the beach. 😉
