01/07/2025: Cuisine and atmosphere just like in the country.

20/06/2025: I ordered fritters and a chicken Colombo. The fritters were tasteless, the chicken was pink from being so undercooked, and the broth that came with the chicken tasted like hot water. I absolutely do not recommend it unless you want to leave with a lighter wallet and the possibility of contracting salmonella.

23/01/2026: I ate there several times, having been in Purpan for several weeks, and I can guarantee that the menu, without exception, is superb. The food is fresh and beautifully presented. I highly recommend it without hesitation. You won't be disappointed. As an added bonus, the waiter is professional, helpful, and lovely. Excellent.

08/01/2026: Excellent Neapolitan pizza, flavorful and crispy, of rare quality; excellent Montepulciano wine; cozy atmosphere; warm staff—the perfect combination for a wonderful evening.

02/01/2026: I wish I could have rated my visit, if only the restaurant hadn't let us reserve a table for 4 when the establishment was actually closed... Despite reminders from the restaurant, and the email stating that "the team was delighted to welcome us", we learned that it was closed 30 minutes before our reservation, by looking for directions on Google.

The menu features high-quality dishes, beautifully presented, and generous portions. The service is impeccable and very efficient. I highly recommend a visit.

07/12/2025: As a huge matcha lover, I wouldn't recommend the one at this café/brunch. However, the food is delicious and visually stunning! Unfortunately, we both got sick after this brunch. We had a lovely time there, but a very bad day after that meal 🥲 #🚽🤮

29/08/2024: La Verrière is a great establishment. Everything is there to have a great time. The discovery menu in which the chef is free, lets us discover flavors, textures and combinations! Tableware that highlights the dishes. Impeccable service and cozy atmosphere.

28/12/2025: A perfect, peaceful stay, a beautiful and very comfortable room, a delicious breakfast with very fresh products, and a warm and attentive welcome. I highly recommend La Maison du Poêlon and I will gladly return 💫

03/11/2025: We had a wonderful 3-day stay in a magnificent house dating back to 1887, renovated by the owners themselves. They paid particular attention to the furnishings. Breakfast was very generous, with bread, butter, homemade jams, cold cuts, cheese, homemade yogurt, and fruit! We were warmly welcomed by Gaëlle and Thierry, with whom we enjoyed pleasant conversations. We shared a meal with the owners. They gave us excellent advice for exploring the region: Mirepoix, a pretty medieval village; the Gaulish village of Rieux-Volvestre; the cassoulet to try in Villefranche-de-Lauragais; and the walk along the Canal du Midi. We highly recommend this place. Daniel and Marie.
