Warm welcome, professional and friendly staff, nice decor, really delighted 👍 and the plates nicely decorated without being over the top and above all with flavor, homemade at last!!!
Adequate quantity, for lovers of good meat, choose the rib-eye steak, I recommend it (in the user's photo, the second piece offered) because it's a real rib-eye steak, its size and taste 😍🤤👌very good experience, keep it up and you'll go far

The chef came to see us, which I really appreciated.
However, the waiter was frankly not very welcoming. He certainly lacked the skills and qualities of a good waiter that day: a smile, pleasant service, and attentiveness. He seemed extremely rushed, even though he was clearly struggling: both dining rooms were full, and he was the only one serving.

12/11/2025: We celebrated a birthday. There were 16 of us. We were offered two choices for the starters and the main course. We asked for a large cake, which Sébastien made for us, and it was excellent. The quality and quantity were perfect, and the owner and waitress were also very friendly! A very convivial atmosphere.

26/01/2026: A truly wonderful Moroccan restaurant. Lunch menu at €22 with a choice of starter/main or main/dessert. I enjoyed an excellent lamb tagine, and the couscous was also delicious. The service was top-notch; the gentleman who is clearly also the chef was lovely. I highly recommend it.

09/12/2025: A delightful and successful stopover during a long journey to Toulouse. Ideally located just outside Villefranche-sur-Saône! Reasonably priced menus, truly refined presentation. Everything is homemade, very well done, with subtle flavors. And all this with a smile from the waiter! This restaurant is well worth a visit!

A generous portion of foie gras as a starter. I could have been satisfied with just that, but the cassoulet came along and filled me up. The duck was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, with crispy skin, and the addition of a delicious sausage made for a winning combination.
I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant, whether you're dining alone or with company.

15/01/2026: The reopening of the museum showcases the splendid collection even more! But why is the statue "Model Removing Her Garment" (by Roger de la Fresnaye) displayed so close to the wall? Its most beautiful feature (her back) is difficult to see... darn. Luckily, I didn't come just for that.
06/01/2026: Excellent guided tour at night by an enthusiastic guide who kept our interest alive with his fascinating insights into the Foundation's interesting and eclectic collection.

25/08/2024: Super good, and very good value for money! Special mention for the quiches which are really delicious! For the buffet we have the choice between several formulas, so everyone can find their way there.
