22/07/2026: Years go by, but the quality remains. I don't know of any other restaurant offering a daily menu at this price. It's always excellent (3 choices of appetizers, 3 or 4 choices of main courses, and 3 choices of desserts), beautifully presented, and delicious. Thank you and congratulations to the team!

11/07/2026: It had been over 8 years since our last visit, and I can tell you that the quality, the taste, and the service are still top-notch! Excellent cuisine made with fresh ingredients!!

09/08/2026: Brunch or coffee. The bread wasn't fresh at all this morning, August 6, 2026. The Americano was burnt, and the bissap was tasteless and watery. The dark chocolate cookie didn't have nearly enough chocolate chips! I was surprised and disappointed because it's usually very good and high quality. I regretted paying €24 for what I ate, especially considering all the food I left on my plate. (And the guilt of throwing it away!!). What a shame.

21/04/2026: Excellent! Great tapas bar. Very, very good. Everything is delicious and well-prepared. The (white) Sangria is excellent. Everything is homemade. The service is top-notch. Thank you again for your warm welcome, your friendliness, and your sense of humor. Everything here is fantastic. Don't change a thing! Oh, I almost forgot, very, very good value for money. Often in this type of bar, you order loads of tapas and it costs an arm and a leg... Not here! The portions are generous, very tasty, and reasonably priced... It's great! Thank you very much.

06/08/2026: I ordered lunch by phone. Tip: Before paying, double-check your order! My Soba lunch menu was changed to a Donburi menu. The waitress (not very friendly) insisted that I had told her on the phone that I ordered a Donburi menu (as if Soba and Donburi were pronounced the same way...). Since I'm allergic to some of the ingredients in this menu...

It's really worth noting that these days, when most businesses are becoming delivery factories, here you'll always be greeted with a smile and friendliness; for that alone, we'll be back.

12/07/2026: Since the new owners took over, ordering from them has become a real pleasure. The pizzas are excellent, the dough is truly delicious, but what really makes the difference is the welcome. You immediately feel like you're not just a customer. They take their time, they're smiling, attentive; they're not just good business owners, they're genuinely lovely people. I sometimes pop in just to say a quick hello. Keep up the good work, you're doing our neighborhood a world of good, as well as our taste buds 😉.

20/07/2026: I recommend this restaurant: 😊 Around 1:45 PM, we walked in and were welcomed by the owners for two tagines. Our table was quickly set with pretty dishes, unlimited couscous, and the tagine dishes. My friend enjoyed the flavor of his lamb, while I opted for veal for the first time. Personally, I'm a big fan of spices, and I always find it a little lacking. A touch of salt, and everything came together perfectly—very good. There was fairly loud oriental music playing in the background, and the waitress was very friendly. I really enjoyed it.

16/07/2026: A journey awaits you on Rue des Couteliers in Toulouse. For the duration of a meal, Le Marocain transports you to the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. The decor is superb, and the dining room possesses a truly unique character. From the moment you enter, you feel at ease in this intimate and soothing space, a particularly pleasant sensation in the heart of the city. The rugs covering the floor enhance this feeling of tranquility. The tables are tastefully set, and every detail seems to have been carefully considered. The air conditioning is also a welcome feature during periods of intense heat. The walls are adorned with finely carved wooden panels, sometimes embellished with mirrors that delicately diffuse the light. Copper teapots, wrought-iron chandeliers, and soft lighting create an elegant setting, without ever becoming excessive. The welcome is warm, sincere, and profoundly human. Here, you feel received with a genuine warmth as much as with a smile. The manager discreetly circulates from table to table, offering a kind word to each guest, while the service is attentive, kind, and naturally considerate. This generosity adds another dimension to the meal. Upon arrival, the aromas of spices immediately whet the appetite. The menu offers salads, several couscous dishes, and various tagines. I chose the M'Rouzia tagine: lamb marinated in Atlas spices, accompanied by honey and saffron-infused almonds. A dish that combines strength and delicacy. The spices are perfectly balanced, the lamb is meltingly tender thanks to slow simmering, and the honey enhances the whole dish without overpowering the other flavors. The fine, generously portioned semolina perfectly complements the dish. To finish, the gourmet tea is a delightful conclusion: mint tea accompanied by an assortment of Moroccan pastries. The waiter pours the tea in front of you with impressive precision and traditional gestures that are part of the show. The tea is fragrant and deliciously sweet, and the pastries, varied and tempting, are offered in reasonable portions: just enough to finish the meal without feeling heavy. Le Marocain is a place that leaves a lasting impression, as much for the quality of its cuisine as for its ambiance. The traditional music extends the escape and invites you to forget, for the duration of your meal, the hustle and bustle of Toulouse. An excellent restaurant where you can appreciate not only generous cuisine but also a warm welcome and service. A place we gladly recommend.

05/08/2026: Terrible welcome for cyclists. I strongly advise against this establishment if you're cycling. Upon arrival, we were asked to move our bikes simply to install a fan for a few seconds. Throughout our visit, we felt that everything was designed to make us leave rather than welcome us. If you're looking for a place to stop for a coffee or a bite to eat during a bike ride, look elsewhere.

09/04/2026: Lunch menu: starter and main course or main course and dessert. Service was average, with only one server doing everything, which wasn't ideal. The dishes arrived quickly, but if you asked for extra sauce, the server couldn't really help with the full terrace, and he still had to take your money. The quality of the food was average; the veal was a bit dry due to a lack of sauce.
