13/08/2025: Arrived at 7:15 PM, left at 9:15 PM: one dish. Needless to say, the service was incredibly slow. 15 minutes for an aperitif, we should have left... oh well. The main course arrived, the wine was forgotten, the tasteless dish was swallowed, the wine still hadn't arrived, and then never was. Very mediocre service overall. The atmosphere at the twelve tables (except for the first three served) was one of gloom, dismay, and dejection. My wife's dish was too slow and frozen, so no dessert, no coffee. Glad to have left and walked out into the rain. Avoid (the restaurant, not the rain).

13/08/2025: Tartiflette, this dish is normally simple and satisfying. Very disappointed. The potatoes were barely cooked. Normally it's rich and delicious, but this was more like boiled potatoes, a little cheese, and very few bacon bits, which were actually matchstick-sized 😕. The service was quite slow because they were supposedly a large group. We didn't see any large group. The owner didn't even ask if we were satisfied. What a shame.

12/08/2026: We received a very warm welcome; the staff were very friendly and pleasant. However, the breakfast was disappointing: €15 for a meal with no fruit, only white bread, no cereal, limited variety, and nothing was replenished even though we hadn't arrived until the end of service. A shame.

08/04/2026: You will receive a very warm welcome at this ideally located hotel, perfect for ski-in/ski-out access. The service is efficient and responsive to any special requests. The hotel restaurant is excellent. A highly recommended place to stay.

29/06/2026: Gelato with many flavors, very well made, and a space outside to sit and eat after ordering at the counter. There's no table service and the tables are rather rustic, but the gelato is delicious and worth the stop!

28/08/2026: ⭐ Very bad experience. The establishment advertises "snacks, ice cream, crepes"... but once seated, there's practically none of that. Only 5 different crepes are offered. No prices are displayed: not on the tables on the terrace, not on a menu, not on a chalkboard. So we ordered without knowing the prices. But the biggest problem came when it came time to pay: the waiter told us €25. Luckily, my friend asked for the receipt... and there, the amount was €31.50! €6.50 difference between the price quoted verbally and the receipt, with no explanation. When you advertise "snacks, ice cream, crepes," the least you can do is offer what you say, clearly display your prices, and above all, give the correct amount when you pay. An experience that definitely doesn't make me want to come back.

28/08/2026: We came for an afternoon snack; the sign outside said salads, snacks, ice cream, crepes. When we arrived, there were only 5 crepe choices, no ice cream. No menu, no idea of ​​the prices. They told me €25, I asked for the receipt, and it was €31.50. I paid by card; I might have paid less in cash. Long live the black market!

04/05/2026: The place is nice, but the waiter... My god... He's about as friendly as a prison guard! Four of us sat down, each ordering, and one of our friends showed up with his own sandwich. The guy practically threw us out, telling us it was totally forbidden, like we'd killed someone... So, customer service? There isn't any... And then, five minutes later, the guy over the PA system came up to us and said we weren't allowed to drink from our reusable water bottles, even though we'd already paid for our paninis... So we left quickly after eating and paying. I've never seen anything like it...

05/04/2026: Catastrophic. It's important to highlight the good experiences, but also to share the bad ones, especially for a restaurant that presents itself as a 3-star establishment. During our visit, the service proved particularly disappointing. After ordering two courses, my companion's was served, while I was informed at the last minute that my dish was no longer available. I then had to wait almost 40 more minutes before being served. Regarding the dishes: the duck breast, ordered rare, arrived well-done. The cocktail, on the other hand, was simply undrinkable. While the other dishes weren't bad in themselves, the overall experience fell far short of the expected standard for a 3-star restaurant. We also spoke with other customers who shared the same disappointment regarding the overall quality of the experience. Fortunately, the resort is full of other quality restaurants, often more modest in appearance, but far superior in terms of service and cuisine.

05/04/2026: Very disappointed. My dish arrived, but my companion's was no longer available. She had to wait about 40 minutes while I left my plate aside so we could eat together. The duck breast, which I ordered rare, was well-done. We reported these issues to the staff, and they told us it was due to the end of the season. This explanation is hardly acceptable and in no way justifies this level of service. An experience far below the expected standard for this type of establishment.

31/05/2026: Taking a trip up to 1800 meters in the off-season is a bold move that I fully embraced, simply to experience the resort in a way I'd never seen it before during my ski holidays at the Hotel Valérie. And since I felt so comfortable there, with guaranteed lodging and meals, in such a warm atmosphere, I inevitably return, like a pilgrimage, just to relive moments I'll never forget.

20/03/2026: Catastrophic experience. Extremely unpleasant welcome, even with our daughters present. After an 8.5-hour drive, we arrived to dirty rooms (they hadn't been vacuumed). Simply asking for a broom made the manager get angry, reluctantly cleaned one room, and we had to clean our daughters' room ourselves. There was no shower screen in the bathtub, so water flooded the entire bathroom when we showered. I understand it's a 2-star hotel with basic standards, but cleanliness and, above all, basic courtesy are the bare minimum for a service-oriented business. Positive point: idyllic location and very white, clean towels. Breakfast was adequate but equivalent to that of an Ibis Budget, so €8-9 max. -> EVERYTHING ELSE NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED! (It has potential, though. They need to change management and give it a fresh start, and it would be great.) What a shame... Saving for eight months for a ski holiday and being treated like this. Truly disappointing. Especially since I'm a regular at Montgenèvre, which is a family-friendly resort with a great atmosphere...

08/08/2026: I ate very well. You can decide what ingredients to put in the sandwich or get a menu. You can also choose the bread, the size between large or small. The only thing was that it was a little heavy, but it was delicious. I hope to go back soon :)

30/07/2026: My son placed an order through Uber Eats, but half of it was missing and there was an error with the drink. My son called, and the manager told him to call back as soon as he placed the order again, which my son did some time later, but it was impossible to reach anyone! Not fair to a young apprentice who just wants to treat himself now and then. Thank you for your response, Subway, after a month already! And how am I supposed to contact you when no one answers the phone, which my son has done dozens of times?!

11/07/2026: Why not give it a 0? A night spent on the toilet is worth that much! This restaurant should be shut down! There's nothing fresh, and when it's edible, they say everything's fine. Avoid it at all costs!
