28/03/2026: I just walked past the restaurant that's closed for renovations 🚧 while in the Dauphiné region, they're closed for hygiene reasons by order of the prefecture LOL 😝 Gap is a small town, everyone knows that. Clean up 🧹

06/02/2026: Never, ever go in. The atmosphere is gloomy from the moment you walk in (very dark, not a sound, old-fashioned...). There's a serious lack of hygiene: dirty cutlery, hair in our food.
No menu was offered; only the "Alpine Platter" was available. The other dishes were supposedly out of stock... €16 for a plate consisting mostly of salad, with only three frozen tourtons, three slices of cured ham, and a supermarket baguette—all very bland. Definitely avoid this place.
20/01/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS! The owner will soon be choosing your menu 🤣 There's no menu, she's the one who orders!! They serve Lidl-brand Coke, and when you order fries with your meat, you get pasta, etc. Seriously, avoid this place!!!

10/03/2026: Run away, friends!!!
I don't even know where to begin. The reception? They handed us the key and pointed us to the hotel, which is located across a road, without showing us around or explaining anything.
Be warned, if you have children, the road you have to cross to get to the hotel is extremely dangerous; you risk your life.
The room? Oh my god!! Well, I'll post some pictures so you can judge for yourselves.
Breakfast? No explanation whatsoever, except for the first door on the left. €12 for nothing: an orange juice machine that didn't work, no fresh bread, only frozen bread that we had to ask for because there wasn't any. Not to mention the hygiene.
In short, avoid this place.

24/09/2024: Clients depuis 25 ans, nous avons été déçus🥴. Oublis dans notre commande, nous avons noté, que cela n'avait plus le même "prestige" que les années d'antant. Le pain pour la fondue n'était pas approprié, très en mie et bourratif. 😡
La fondue était encore en bloc solide, une fois arrivée sur la table.😡
Très très déçus, je pense que désormais les kilomètres effectués pour venir avec envie manger à la Lairerie ne se feront plus. Je ne recommande pas🥴😡
18/09/2024: Regular customer for 30 years, we were a little disappointed with our last visit. The dishes offered were completely lacking in taste, whether it was the pie or the fondues. The morel fondue really didn't have a lot of morels.
On the other hand, the service is always so friendly (phew!), the view superb and the prices reasonable.

27/01/2025: The welcome leaves something to be desired, not to mention the quality of the dishes which has deteriorated when we have known this place for years. It's a real shame for the quality and setting of the place.
25/01/2025: A very nice discovery after a walk among the snow-covered trees. The meal is delicious and the toboggan ride incredible.

06/09/2024: Really quality cuisine, with real research into the sauces. A super accessible chef (Claire) who loves her job, you can see (and feel) it on the plates!
Flawless, from aperitif to dessert.
Really homemade, which is increasingly rare, and high quality local products.
We tasted the gratin of ravioli with Queyras blue cheese, a treat and very hearty, the absolutely divine homemade Burger (with its candied onions, homemade bun, excellent meat cooked to perfection, with Queyras blue cheese), the duck breast with sauce with red fruits, and tiramisu. The plates are very generous.
Very good wines (and good food and wine pairing advice from our waitress), and the icing on the cake: an excellent génep.
A great discovery, the Guillestrin will undoubtedly see us again!

03/08/2024: Super restaurant, que ce soit pour déjeuner, dîner ou juste prendre un goûter, je recommande vivement !
Personnel extrêmement sympathique et bienveillant, qui ne se défait pas de son sourire. Patron très gentil également, qui prends le temps de discuter.
Les chiens sont acceptés, et dans notre cas, a même eu le droit à une gamelle d’eau et un petit bout de glace ;)
On y mange très bien, une cuisine faite maison avec des repas bien copieux.
Une super expérience !
23/03/2024: Ca reste un bon restaurant, mais j'ai malgré tout été déçue par la trilogie de tartiflettes (reblochon, saint marcelin, fourme). 3 bols avec des p de terre (quantité ok) et 1 fromage différent par bol (là en revanche vous avez été radin sur le fromage) : c'est bien dommage car en fait dans la tartiflette ce que l'on aime c'est qd même le fromage !!!! surtout que du coup étant donné le prix ça fait cher le kilo de p de terre.
Il faut donc rester sur des valeurs sûres : la boite chaude (que j'avais gouté un midi) et avec laquelle je m'étais régalée ou le carpaccio de boeuf !

Vous aurez affaire à une équipe de guignols comme rarement vous verrez.
Le patron vous vend du rêve, ne se remet jamais en question et est de mauvaise foi.
Les fils derrière le bar sont une blague, ne changez pas de patron les gars, vous ne feriez pas 2 jours dans un vrai resto.
Très mauvaise expérience, je déconseille fortement cet attrape touriste, qui devrait fermer !!!!!
06/04/2024: 3rd time in 3 years, in 2022 niquel, last year already disappointed but this evening the same.
We had a raclette, potatoes which tasted more like water than potatoes, a tasteless raclette cheese, even the one from Intermarché was better.
I wanted to go back there to please but I understand more and more that it is the only restaurant that is not full in Risoul on a Saturday evening.. The Christmas decorations with another tree on 06/04 leaves something to be desired. Unfortunately I won't be going back there again, really disappointed in terms of the food, but fortunately the service is going up there again.
