29/03/2026: We were staying at the hotel across the street for a business trip. We were just planning to have a drink after work. We ended up spending the whole evening there! It was St. Patrick's Day. They managed to find us a table! The welcome was fantastic. The concert and atmosphere were great. And the appetizer platter was generous! Thank you for a wonderful evening! We will definitely come back on our next trip to Châteauroux and recommend it to our colleagues 😀

26/03/2026: Amazing bar!!! Maxime is exceptional, the pizzas are exceptional, the bar is exceptional! I highly recommend it and I plan to come back very often.

07/04/2026: Dirty glass, very neglected dining area (at 11 am!), (a quick glance at the display of cakes and tarts at the entrance revealed a very dirty counter), both women's restrooms were closed (thanks to the employee for the magic trick of opening the doors as if by magic, telling me, "But they were open!"... and on top of that, the restrooms were dirty!!). In short, avoid this place. Nothing like the Patapain in Cosne-sur-Loire.

08/05/2026: I've been to this patapain several times now, and honestly, I have to say the young man who serves me is kind and friendly, with a calm and pleasant voice. It's a welcome change from the nasal voices of some of the people at the Grand-Deols patapain.

20/04/2026: Exceptional setting with a superb view of the lake, truly delightful. The welcome was incredibly warm: we were served by several people, all equally smiling and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The food was very good, offering excellent value for money. And to top it all off, the presence of a singer created a wonderful atmosphere: the icing on the cake!

19/04/2026: Never disappointed, the food is always delicious and the service is always top-notch and attentive. The guinguette is a great place to meet up with friends or family, but you need to book for lunch on weekends.

20/04/2026: A wonderful discovery: a small restaurant with delicious and carefully prepared cuisine. The dishes are excellent, offering great value for money. We stumbled upon it by chance and received a very warm welcome, with the staff accommodating us by offering a vegetarian option. A truly lovely place that I highly recommend!

16/04/2026: 1. Warm welcome. 2. Elegant and understated Easter-themed decor in the dining room. 3. Creative and harmonious presentation of the dishes, delicious from appetizer to dessert. A pleasant surprise in the region at a very reasonable price. Family lunch earlier this week (Monday, April 13th) ordered for a group of 10 (cousins). We will definitely be back.

16/05/2026: I don't usually leave reviews, but this restaurant takes the cake. I do not recommend it. They bring snails that are still frozen, and then the plates are boiling hot, but the food itself is cold. When we ask them to reheat the food, it's clear the waiter is annoyed; he makes that clear with his unfriendly tone. There's no room at the table; we have to eat on the lap of the person at the next table. €150 for this? I would have preferred to pay for the bottle of wine and that's it. They don't offer a carafe of water, an aperitif, nothing. In short, we came as a party of four, and it was our first and last time.

10/05/2026: Excellent, locally sourced cuisine, generous portions, and very reasonably priced. The service is impeccable, complete with smiles and good cheer. The decor is charming, and you can also browse their antique shop across the street (prices are reasonable there too).

16/05/2026: Lunch during the Ascension Day long weekend. The meal was just okay, but the service was poorly organized and chaotic, with a wait of about an hour. We were concerned to see neighboring tables being served promptly, suspecting an order hadn't been confirmed... a pit bull informed us that this happens!

04/04/2026: A small country restaurant, packed in the evenings, which is lovely to see. We had a wonderful time. The dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. This restaurant has all the hallmarks of a fine dining establishment: quality ingredients, service, aesthetics, and taste! Bring on the Michelin star!

29/03/2026: The wait was particularly long—1 hour and 15 minutes for the food to arrive. No water carafe was available for 45 minutes. A few appetizers would have been a welcome addition! However, the quality of the meal was excellent! The prices are reasonable considering the taste and overall experience!
