08/09/2024: Honestly well received, despite the late hour and the full room. A good time spent with a nice full and tasty plate. Short but nice card. Top desserts, especially the lemon and chili sorbet: a killer Thank you for this good, friendly time.

05/09/2024: Good morning, It no longer has anything to do with the Babeth of old, except sangria. Belly with disgusting batrone, the mussels very small and not a la plancha, the squid too salty, the camemberts replaced the melted camembert what a shame, plate of ham good but the toasted bread with the same sauce nothing to do with the tomato sauce. And the mac Caïn potato slices with ready-made sauce. I think we need to do an internship to get back up to speed. And the music is a shame that it's not Spanish. The waitress lacks dynamism...

02/07/2024: I am right now on July 2, 2024 at Gégène. For the 2nd year in a row, we were warmly welcomed. The goat cheese pizza is excellent and the mussels have nothing to envy of these big restaurant chains. Unlike other reviews, I recommend this restaurant. Plus some really nice music.

15/06/2024: Je suis venu par hasard dans ce lieu et j'ai regardé les avis sur TripAdvisor alors que j'étais installé et que j'avais commandé. Lorsque j'ai lu les commentaires, j'ai eu très peur et j'avais envie de partir. Mais ça n'aurait pas été correct. Finalement j'ai bien mangé, pour un prix raisonnable. Certes on n'est pas dans un palace mais j'ai vu un homme qui travaille dur et qui s'applique à sa façon. Les travailleurs courageux, à notre époque, j'ai plutôt envie de les encourager...

29/10/2025: We visited end of October, we were 2 families, with kids. The owner is so welcoming, smiling all the time, and patient. The service was excellent. The place is cozy. The food was really good and generous. I recommend it if you are in the area and unsure about your restaurant selection.

08/09/2024: We have been coming for 2 years in the summer, and have our pizzas exclusively here. The boss is outspoken which perhaps doesn't please everyone but it's part of her personality and personally I love it! She has a lot of humor and as long as there is respect for her and her team, you will have a great time! Especially since they go out of their way to bring you very good pizzas (shout out to Campana). The products are fresh, everything is homemade and the pizzas are well garnished. Don't forget that in July/August the streets of Mimizan are full and not everyone is necessarily respectful towards the traders who strive to prepare the best for you during your vacation. As for the prices, with an average of 15€/pizza, it seems to me that it's very reasonable for eating in the evening in a seaside resort, right? Thanks to JP’s pizza shack, and see you soon 😉

13/09/2024: Déjà deux fois que je viens dans ce restaurant . Une fois dans le patio très agréable et aujourd'hui en salle . J ai choisi la formule à un prix vraiment très abordable . Entrée plat dessert . Tout était excellent . Une finesse de goût. Bravo au cuisiner et à l accueil. Je recommande et reviendrai .

Un accueil en ordre avec le sourire et l envie de combler ses clients, un Chef qui vient à notre rencontre et échange avec nous sur son parcours, une présentation soignée, des cuissons parfaites et des saveurs agréables! 04/01/2026: Excellent meal in a very pleasant setting among the pine trees. Very warm welcome! The added bonus is the value for money for a meal that's out of the ordinary. I highly recommend it. I'll definitely be back!

25/12/2025: Christmas dinner was extremely disappointing, especially for the price. The capon was fatty and undercooked. The table runner was just paper napkins, and I expected something else given the restaurant's reputation. The decor was really underwhelming too. A waitress in ripped jeans and sneakers on December 25th... not great, to say the least.
